What's the point of working for poverty wages (under 100k)?
>>24132704for poverty work (job)
>>24132704>"omg, i'm sooo poor!"you realize 90% of these people eventually find better jobs with their degree, right?even if they stay at the same place, a degree almost guarantees a promotion to management (if you actually try)
>>24132704Put the fries in the bag lil bro
>>24132704If you want some semblance of a "Normal" life you will have to go offgrid, become self sufficient and get strlink and power generators. We're at the turnkey tyranny phase of our arc.
>>24132704Damn it wagie I said no onions!
>>24132706try maybe 20% and the rest get handed to h1bs
>>24132704>wagie thinks fast food industry is safeThere will no longer be place for men in a decade.
>>24132706Im sure your degree in communications and womens studies really opened doors for you
>>24132704you invest, and then maybe in 30 years you'll be rich.>but I don't want to wait 30 yearsyes, that's why most people remain poor all their lives.
>>24132704PUT THE FRIES IN THE FUCKING BAG
Just get a better job. >poverty wages><$100kLOL grow up.
>>24132713>you invest, and then maybe in 30 years you'll be rich.>>but I don't want to wait 30 years>yes, that's why most people remain poor all their lives.I think assuming things will continue like this for the next 30 years is a bit presumptuous. We look at the world and see how fucked up it is, what most people and normies don't understand is that the financial system itself is perhaps more fucked up than everything else we see. There has to be some type of reset because of debt saturation.
So you don't die.
>he didnt study computer science in the age of AIYou will be on the permanent underclass and you will be happy
>>24132704That's only the case in an area you need 100k, what is the definition of poverty?
>>24132706>you realize 90% of these people eventually find better jobs with their degree, right? You realize this isn’t the 90s anymore, right gramps?
>>24132712>Im sure your degree in communications and womens studies really opened doors for youJokes aside.since working enviroments are more and more feminized, deegre in in communications and womens studies, soon might be a new software engineering or industrial automatics.Working with women is so fucking hard!t. I was doing it for the last 5 years.
>>24132716that's why you spread your investments and adapt.buy a bit of crypto, a bit of gold and silver, buy stocks in various companies, buy some real estate if you can.by 2050 some of it is bound to be valuable.
>>24132704Israel needs free healthcare, housing, childcare, and food.
>>24132704>Computer science majorSeems like a fitting job for someone who expected a 60-year old who does graph theory on a chalk board all day and has never had a non-academic job in their entire life to teach them how to be an industry professional.
>>24132718You know thats one field thats currently being taken over by ai, i know two lads here that got layed off in the last year because their companies trained an ai to do their jobs. The funny thing is if ai actually manages to automate alot of the jobs the last ones will be the low paying shit one that cost too much to automate and is more benificial to have humans do
>>24132713what do you have from grinding 30 years and then maybe or maybe not being wealthy at the brink of your death?it literally makes no sense
>>24132720so you can predict the future of all of these retarded zoomers?what else does your crystal ball say, fucking nutcase
>>24132704>What's the point of working for poverty wagesAlmost there, anon. Why is there such a thing as a 'poverty wage'?
>>24132721Lol no anon, that shit is and always will be useless women acedemia
Should I just buy a shovel and say i'm a grave digger? I'll dig everyones grave including my own, i'll be the last one.
>>24132721>[a degree in] communications and [women's] studies, soon might be a new software engineering or industrial automatics.Nah. Most "Woman's Work" is non-productive, performative DEI positions. Daycare, basically. As uncontrolled money creation and compounding debt shrinks the economy companies will begin to jettison these people as a unaffordable luxury. A entire generation of women will find their girl-boss careers ended like a Disney+ subscription.
>>24132704Life really isn't that bad with those wages. I live pretty comfortably like this.I can't ball out constantly or take big trips all the time, of course, but I do alright.I'm about to move to one of the most expensive cities in the US and will still be able to live well on these wages.
>>24132725This is very true. Software developers will unironically be the first people to go, especially the front-end developers. I can't wait to not have to deal with these entitled retards who think they're the center of the universe. AI is revealing that their job really is as simple as it sounds, and we've been paying these people to rewrite everything into the newest fad framework every 3 years for no reason.
>>24132704i'm sorry but i don't get why anyone would eat at subway. it's gotta be the most repulsive fast food ever. even more repulsive than mystery meat kebab
>>24132733It was funny meeting a software engineer my age who insisted that what he did wasn't very impressive. He said that most of what he does amounts to using a search engine and copying and pasting things from libraries.
>>24132726>it literally makes no senseIf you can find something, anything in this life you actually like to do you can make a living either doing it or working another job in order to do it. For fuck's sake - I got hired to work the counter in a dive shop because I walked in there and started asking questions. "There is NO WORK" is a different thing than"I can't find the exact job I want RIGHT NOW".
>>24132733It will be funny if wagies socially outrank techbros in the future
>>24132704The only thing I liked at Subway was the meatballs sub. And they took away one of the meatballs. It used to have four meatballs on a 6-in sub. Now they only put on three. So I don't go back there anymore. I don't give a shit about this guy's computer science degree or how there's over-educated kids working at shit jobs. If they want to fix that then they can start putting the blame on the schools for selling them useless degrees and the blame on H-1B visas who are stealing all of their entry level computer science jobs. But also... Fuck Subway.
>>24132704There is no point in working for less than 100k.
>>24132734For most of my childhood, it was the only sub sandwich shop in my town that didn't operate out of a gas station. They also got people pretty good over here for a while by marketing it as a "healthy" restaurant. All of the preps and jocks at my middle school and high school would have it for lunch every other day lol.
>>24132737>It will be funny if wagies socially outrank techbros in the futureAI will write code and parse spreadsheets. Wrench monkeys who can keep a 20 year old Subaru on the road will be the new aristocracy.
>>24132736not everyone is lucky that just stumbles upon something he loves that he can do for a living, in fact thats like 1% if not less
>>24132725>>24132733low skilled jobs will be done by drones and robots, it will be the same
>>24132739What are you talking about, half of that would still be comfortable living youre just out of touch
>>24132736there is NO WORK
>>24132736You are a fed liar telling a fake story pushing the sentiment that education doesn't guarantee work. Okay who fucking cares if teens can read or not then? Kikes are sending the west to the stone age. Boomers are literally hypnotized slaves. Its a nightmare and no one will fight against the kike slave masters
>>24132741Lol either way im not going to be succesful society wise. Im pretty decent at music shit though maybe i can be a roving bard when the ai takeover happens
>>24132747I'd say being a good neighbor means you've succeeded plenty, society-wise.That's how I'm trying to brace for a possible collapse: believing that so long as I can help my neighbors in any way that I can, I at least won't have failed myself
>>24132743Building and maintaining those will cost more than just paying people to do the jobs. The things that are easy to automate have already been automated, e.g. assembly lines, self checkout, McDonald's kiosks. Nobody is going to spend a billion dollars designing a robot that can overlash a fiber cable to a telephone pole, because they can just pay someone $25/hr to do it. The $100k/year front-end developer who complains that they're not allowed to work from home 5 days a week and doesn't want to work on business-related projects has a much larger target on their back.
>>24132713>save and invest for 30 years bro>get ass cancer from the vax and die out of nowhere 10 years in No zoomie will save shit
>>24132743Eventually but they will be the more expensive operations to automate because it requires the ai to work in the physical world, it has more steps to iron out and may be more expensive than using humans. If the cost of the robots and their upkeep is over that of a human theyll hire the human till its no longer cost effective. Now once you get full automation then the company is mostly set and can cut costs like lighting and have dark factories but not every company is going to have the finance to do that. But i imagine we're a few decades out from ai doing grunt work being the full norm
>>24132749>McDonald's kiosksMan, if people aren't using the app and picking it up as soon as they walk through the door then they're leaving time and money on the table.
>>24132748Fair i remember seeing some interview with a guy talking about the depression and he said something along the lines of "oh yeah it was tough but we just grew our own food and spent alot of time at home" neither of which sound to bad
>>24132746>that education doesn't guarantee work.It doesn't. This has been true for over a decade.>Okay who fucking cares if teens can read or not then? Not my problem. Self-cleaning oven. If you personally don't do what is necessary to have even one basic skill you have self-selected for failure and somebody else will step up.>Boomers are literally hypnotized slavesTrue, and irrelevant. They are done, someone else's turn.
>>24132706lol
>>24132719Saved
>>24132734because of goyim like this>>24132740because they never realized that american "food" is an advertisement for the real estate underlying the establishment, the food is just a microcurrency plastic toy ad so some jew can sell the commercial crusty building to some other jackass while hopefully bonus operating as a money laundromat so spics can replace citizens. the end (cancer)
>>24132724>expected a 60-year old who does graph theory on a chalk board all day and has never had a non-academic job in their entire life to teach them how to be an industry professional.kek you definitely have a CS degree. Although I did actually use graph theory to solve a problem one time. Used a library like a sane person.t. degree haver
>>24132704Under $150k is poverty tier.
>>24132704sucking at hard sciences?
>>24133012>hard sciences>getting a job in 2026o i am laffin
>>24133035any engineering degree here in Shitzil leads to a high profitable career, for the most part. Not my case though
