I just hosted a game and I’ve decided I’m done with /trash/ HG. The discord included. The board/discord has turned into a wasteland where the only thing keeping threads alive is endless drama fueled by old grudges. Even when it’s dead quiet, you never know if you’re suddenly in someone’s crosshairs for no real reason. It's tribal as fuck. You have to kiss the ring or risk some retard harassing you just because you like someone they don't. /bant/ feels more suitable for actually playing the game without all that baggage. People are much nicer here having zero attachment to any of the shitpost politics there. It's a boon having to RP there too since there anywhere else you can actually RP but if that's the sacrifice to make then I don't care. I could say a lot more but I don't want too. I'm irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and want to kick start an environment where people feel less pressured of having to swim in the cesspit. Whether /bant/ lives at least a nudge was made.
