I live in chicago I can get very close to birds and Rabbits especially usually let me within 2 feet. I am far more calm than most men and have a serene inner state most people don't. Actually over my lifetime I've had several what I would consider spiritual experiences with animals. Snapping turtles even. I've had loons follow my canoe for miles down a lake, playing and swimming under my canoe. Loons always let me get close, moose too (although you better respect moose, and they are deserving of respect). I'm like a real life Disney prince.
