ok, lets be serious for a second.Why aren't you using arch linux? Its very easy to install nowadays and is actually a very streamlined and easy to use distro. I'd even say that its easier than most "newbie" distros because of how little bullshit you need to do to customize it. Using the terminal might seem scary at first but there are aids that help you avoid it for a bit and seriously its not that hard and saves a lot of time.Just use arch in 2026 and you'll be happy. Even vavle recognizes its superiority by using it as the basis for SteamOS.
