this website is absolutely tiring with how much politics, twitter or whatever seasonal current event is forced here by its modern userbase. not to mention the automaton interactions that are cycled in ever instance of a thread. the aforementioned userbase is so nauseating and dull to interact with in any given instance. i was lurking /v/ after having abandoned the bored for so long and it is abysmal. it feels like ever single thread on there is the regardless of topic. same way the users interact, same way how each try to force off-topic or dead end "i win, you lose" arguments. i mean, it is amazing how forced "arguments" are generated in a random shitpost. /tv/? it feels about the same except there hasnt been a new meme to spam in a very long time. same rehashed stuff, i guess there is always a baskin boberts thread. those are funny./vr/ feels like an anachronistic /v/ in that it is basically /v/ now but with topics that cannot be made past a certain established year./ck/ feels like facebook with its interaction farming threads cyclically made by a bot. although /ck/ has historically had the worst moderation of all the boards i have used. /co/....urgh....bbbbb*barf* dont wanna talk about that one/a/ is trashlurking is so tiresome. then there are curated circle like twitter and whatever big social media there is which siphons new blood to explore the internet. fact of the matter is, this place sucks. tl;dr>this place friggin sucks desuyo!>>24305168

Based on what I know about old /b/ at least I would say /bant/ had less edginess, less cp, more country banter, more comfiness, and more known posters. The similarities would've been the OC, the randomness (especially compared to what /b/ had become which is just porn dumps), and the recurring memes and inside jokes unique to the board. The recurring posts were probably even more repetitive than any other board though (sakuya giving cirno the fishe, alzheimers guy). You would also see random interesting things happening like a guy documenting himself breaking into a construction site and climbing a crane.I enjoyed it a lot but I guess I was an excitable 14-15 year old at the time
