>>24320345>what was this youtube downloading thing u said to get?yt-dlpit's a fork of youtube-dl (or yt-dl i can't remember), it has more features is pretty goodvery long/daunting manpage, but you can just feed it a URL and let it do its thing if you want>also I'm tryna get search plugins working on qbittorrent but when I go to the bit for adding then and click 'check for updates' it says their update server is down.>could u do the same on urs to see if its really down or if its just my puter being weird?hmm, i'll let you know...
also, yt-dlp has integration with mpv (sort of like VLC media player but lighter/more minimal)you can feed a youtube URL directly to mpv and watch the video that way, to bypass even using a browserit buffers in real-time like normal, you can see which parts are buffered by looking at the "cached" area

>>24323882not really. they block you in retaliation. they often block you just for a sake of it but login requirements like these are usually a anti-scraping measure, which mass downloading falls under.but its really random. sometimes i get blocked for 10 vids, sometimes i can do >60 without any issues
actually i knew this for a while but i sorta forgot somehow..
>>24323897thats odd how its so random for you. usually i just get blocked instantly>>24323900its all good. I've bound my torrent client to a vpn so if i switch the vpn off to watch jewtube it won't start leaking my IP.this seems an OK solution for now but ill probably start scraping my favourite channels
>>24323897>but its really random. sometimes i get blocked for 10 vids, sometimes i can do >60 without any issuesthisi usually download sparingly, rarely more than 3 things per dayi have a backlog somewhere but i mostly download things ona whim latelyunless i want to download a playlist, but then i usually just get throttled after around 50 vids, not completely blocked>>24323882>>24323929seems like 4chan and youtube both hate your IP, and that qbittorrent problem was weirdi wonder if there's somethign fucky going on>>24323882>feel very rough, hopefully that means I can get an early night tonight or something.ah sorryi like making sliced avocados, with a bunch of lime juice & salt, it sometimes helps when i feel like trash for whatever reasonbut yeah eating what feels right always a good idea in general>oh no. I hope u manage to sleep.barely any but my alarm went off, i think i'll just stay upi feel relatively alright so far except memory & focus xd

>>24324037>throttled after around 50 vids, not completely blockedthat's not so bad>i wonder if there's somethign fucky going onalmost certainly lolI think most of it can be explained by ppl use mullvad for attacking sites so many of their IPs are blacklisted even on services you wouldnt expect to allow vpn use.even sites like launchpad.net block me its really very annoying. maybe id be less restricted using tor than a vpn?or I need to set up a vps.its weird that it happens on my home IP also though, maybe some sorta fingerprinting? I've no idea.I guess the shit with here not working was just coincidence tho as I've never used a vpn or whatever here just the system decided kuroba is a bot.>sliced avocados, with a bunch of lime juice & saltthat does sound rlly good. sadly avocados here fucking suck 90% of the time.maybe something else salty and nutritious would help tho, thanks for the suggestion>i feel relatively alright so far except memory & focus xdjust mong out for most of the day. try to drag urself outside even if its for 10 mins tho it'll help u sleep later.
*would expect was about to say wouldnt block but got distracted :s
>>24324119all good guessesmodern web is such a clusterfuck in general xdthe thing about tor & the thing about fingerprinting both seem possible but i wouldn't know for surei keep wanting to set up a vps but i don't know whether vps IPs are already blocked at many places, it seems impossible but idk>that does sound rlly good. sadly avocados here fucking suck 90% of the time.RIPthey often suck here too, they're edible about two thirds of the time though & pretty cheapthey often pick them when they're very underripe so by the time they're ripe they're rotting :/>maybe something else salty and nutritious would help tho, thanks for the suggestion:D>try to drag urself outside even if its for 10 mins tho it'll help u sleep later.trueit's a nice quiet sunny day which is nice, i hear birbsthere's a whole family of raccoons living in the attic in the vacant house next doori think i saw a huge one carrying a younger one by the scruff of the neck in broad daylight yesterday, from the roof into the attic
>>24324153>i don't know whether vps IPs are already blockedI think it rlly depends on the provider and If they disclose the IPs like vpn providers have to.german anon can prolly answer better he has one if i rember correctly.>they often pick them when they're very underripe so by the time they're ripe they're rotting :/oh that's suprising. all the american friends ect I've had here have always talked about how much better the ones back home are. one of these ppl was from cali so they probably had access to more locally grown ones?>it's a nice quiet sunny day which is nice, i hear birbssounds like a good day to sit under a tree and let ur mind wonder, unless of course u think this would lead to falling asleep xD>a whole family of raccoonscute :) I hope they aren't noisy
>>24324165>one of these ppl was from cali so they probably had access to more locally grown ones?it's possibleto be fair i'm buying the cheapest ones from walmart in a rural area, i bet they have access to way higher quality produce in californiaeven the difference between where i am & the food in a city like austin is hugebut much more expensive too i betthat is cool though :o>cute :) I hope they aren't noisythey used to be noisy but i spooked them with a flashlight & yelling out the window a few times, they've been much quieter since xd>sounds like a good day to sit under a tree and let ur mind wondermaybe maybe
>>24318462I actually had a TV like that way back when I was a teenager. Got a better one afterwards that had a VCR and DVD player built into it my favorite and last CRT TV. That thing I miss. One you got there I had in a ghetto arrangement where I had it placed on a metal folding chair in my room and my GameCube and PS2 sat on a cardboard box next to it.
probably sounds like i'm ragging on city folk xdi just mean you're probably right most americans would eat better avocados, if i had to guessi write very literallypeople tend to focus on what they think you're TRYING to say rather than what you literally said, it can be frustrating to work around
>>24324182ah yeah id imagine cheap wallmart ones are universally not great xDI think these ppl were going to farmers markets or maybe just dedicated greengrocers.yes expensive id imagine.>they've been much quieter since xdhave u tried shining a flashlight and yelling at the dominicans? xD>>24324193>VCR and DVD:O ive never seen a CRT with a DVD player. sounds fancy (for the time)I wasn't allowed a tv in my room and our tv was a bigger older sorta one but yeah I rember these types of tv from school or whatever when the teacher would show us a film with us all gathered around a tiny screen xD>>24324202oh don't worry about it dude I don't tend to do that and I think anyone who tries to infer tone in written text (other than poetry or literature) is a retard xD

>>24324241>>24324246i haven't heard it till now but i like it too
>>24324240I probably hung into the last CRT longer then most people did because I've always been a late adopter to most things. I saw flat screens and was like "so? My TV ain't broke it's fine." Now apply that to most technology and that's why I'm always late to the party of the new gizmo.

At least that is how my provider does things. with ipv6 it might look different..

Have you ever read Lewis Carroll's diaries? They're really neat if you wanna see how 19th century people geeked out over nerd shit. I wasn't that invested at first cause it's just a diary, but then I read the entry where Carroll excitedly explains how he slept on the couch one day, got up at 4 AM, prepped his camera, and spent the whole day taking & developing photos. It was, to be frank, oddly endearing.>>24325447Yeah, I'm having a really comfy day. Honestly, the past few years have been a wild ride, but recently things have been on the up n up.
>>24325472>hangover?'english as second language'i can't reaaaad>basically when I switch my vpn off my torrents pause so I don't need to pause them to watch youtube without IP leaks.oh yeah now i get it. you can have the vpn running and have only the torrent client use it while the rest uses your regular connection btw>some ppl would find a static IP usefulmost would with a VPS as they are usually for hosting websites and stuff where a constantly changing IP can be a pain in the ass. imagine if every VPS had a dynamic IP address, oh the poor DNS'..funny error that rdfind just spit out lol
>>24325540>oh the poor DNSor no not just those. the ones above them that would be equally as fucked lol
>>24325476>have this for a non-gondola contribution toothanks <3>32 year olds don't feel the need to...usually this is the case but there's some real fucking losers out there lol. >Have you ever read Lewis Carroll's diariesI don't think so, certainly not in their entirety. Although there is stuff like mDNS that even my home router can do so maybe its not actually that bad if that sorta stuff is becoming a default function?
>>24326036>catch those moments where its not myselfdissociation? derealization? just spacing out?if you've just spaced out and got some brain fog try not to think about it. this happens to everyone.>you have something especially fun you might want to share?nothing particularly fun just anonymity stuff mostly. didn't wanna be specific because glowie infested site.>look up "domain propagation"will do :)>maybe its not actually that bad if that sorta stuff is becoming a default function?u mean the switch to v6?

Really nice and convenient function to have but the damn thing can't do port forwarding right so lmao.anyways i am trying to fix my schedule a bit. night night
>>24325620>stuff like that does interest me though so i may check it outOh no need to overplay interest, it's not exactly something I'm dying for people to read; it's merely my attempt at a conversation starter. If anything, the story of how those all got published is far more fascinating, and it's only told in the foreword. The rest of it is just a diary, a personal account of things meant for... well, Carroll's eyes only. It's a bit intrusive, in my opinion, hence why it's rather interesting to see how and why his estate published them.I'd post the reasoning, but the book's a rental from my local library, and I'm indisposed at present.Still, it's surreal to think about. The fact that, over a century after you die, things relating to any one person and their life can happen. Like... anything. Not to be macabre of course, but even on the small scale, the fact that one's funeral could be Catholic even when something else is requested... that's wacky.Am I making any sense? I hope I am.>wasnt entirely unpleasantoho! Oh man it was awful! I had to go through college and therapy and all that normie shit people on /pol/ will tell you doesn't work or is bad for you. It was an arduous process to make a functional adult out of myself, but we're almost halfway there.would recommend tho, it works far better than jordan peterson self-help guides
