I have begun to realize as I break myself free from addiction that pornography is where it all began>First internet>Second pornography>Third cannabis>Fourth opioidsI've freed myself from cannabis and I'm currently tapering down off opioidsI now realize as I come down off opioids that it all began with pornographyBut a deeper root exists which is the internetI can't quit pornography while continuing to stay on any website on the internet since it's always just one click away, especially here where people throw it in your faceI want spend 2027 as my first year free from vice since 2002I want to spend more time meditating and readingI realize that this adjustment will be large and much akin to sending myself back to the 1990s in many waysBut I've already began to adjust my internet habits in many ways and will continue doing soBut is that really so bad?Not reading the news daily? Not seeing lots of horrible things I've seen and subjected myself to over the past quarter of a decade?I can't go back to the pre-September 11th, 2001 daysBut I think eliminating the internet from my life is the closest I can getI enjoy watching documentaries and since TV doesn't really exist anymore in the same way it used toI might just use YouTube for watching documentaries related to something I've read and only allow myself to watch after I've read a book related to itI don't really know who to write this letter to so I figured I'd post it here as one of my last postsI hope anyone out there struggling with addiction whose a Millennial can find hope in these wordsFor reading this far, a gift for my Millennial broshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eZ4ZqSH95w

>>24352273>I enjoy watching documentaries and since TV doesn't really exist anymore in the same way it used toit's a good idea, i do that too>I can't go back to the pre-September 11th, 2001 days>But I think eliminating the internet from my life is the closest I can getthis is the "default" state of the world, those pre-9/11 days were an exception as far as societies go, things were goodbut yeah you can make your own life good & make parts of the world good, it's all you can doyou might be surprised at how much change you can create by doing that diligently, though, you could probably feel like you went back to those days in the ways that matter
>>243522731: not reading all that.2: the little bit I did read, you're just a weak and pathetic excuse for a man and nothing else. Good day.
