You'd have to settle for some hogwash 10K, 14K bullshit for it to last.

There are far worse investments than a gold chain. 18-22k chains today are made for everyday wear. You just need a durable built chain that’s solid, not a flimsy hollow one with a shitty clasp. Something like Byzantine or Franco will last a lifetime. you can wear a gold coin as a pendant on those. Not a big fan of wearing jewelry but it is an alternative way to keep some of your gold on you

You can start to get nervous if we jump to $400 in just few months. Then it might be concerning. But as it is now, we are simply catching up with what the price should have been for a long while.
Being able to purchase 1oz for $15 few years ago was a fucking (((anomaly))), it should never have been possible in the first place. That's also why it was so fucking obvious it was THE place to be.

Inflation , lmao silver is even losing value of pmgs favorite food, mcchickens
>>
>>60879301
What does that mean?
>>
>>60879315
lets say in the year 2000
>oz of silver $10
>loaf of bread $1
>price of house $200k

then in the year 2010
>oz of silver $14
>load of bread $2
>price of house $400k

then if you bought silver you lost value because even though it went up 40%, everything else doubled. better than holding cash but you are still behind. typically on average your investment needs to double every decade to keep up with inflation.

I should've bought silver when it was cheaper. Now I only have 600 oz. I'm not gonna make it.

Does anyone remember what it was like the last time silver hit $40? Did people think that it was going to stay up or did a lot of people see that there was a chance it would crash back down to sub $14 range

I got ahead of myself at a family gathering and asked my cousin to reenact the image of the woman laying on a bunch of silver while wearing a bikini and now I'm shunned by that side of the family. I was just really excited that I had finally rivaled the images' stack. She actually was about to agree to it too when she thought it was for a modeling photo but when I told her it was just because she had a very distasteful look on her face, as if we haven't been intimate just an hour before. Women are very complex and stupid, guess I'll just keep stacking. I know her ass will come around when silver hits 4 digits.

So long as you have an exit strategy. My personal silver exit strategy is to start trading silver for gold when the ratio drops below 50:1.

Silver historically overshoots gold once the masses start to buy it. Three times in the 20th century the ratio dipped briefly down to 20:1 and once in the 21st century (2011) it dipped down to 30:1.

I'll always keep some silver though.

Most of my silver was bought at a ratio of 75:1 or higher.

If you're an American, consider junk (constitutional) silver. If European, buy sovereign legal tender coins that have no VAT. You want high liquidity stuff to start with. Kilo bars and larger can be harder to sell/barter with. Once you have a couple hundred oz of small stuff, going big can save some money, although as late as two weeks ago you could get constitutional silver for spot, and last week for a buck over spot. I fear those deals may be gone this week.

https://x.com/RichardCabezza/status/1957858982904889833
>Thinking about stacking silver but new to it? Let's break down "constitutional silver" (pre-1965 US coins, 90% silver, aka "junk silver") by the gram. These are affordable for beginners—no fancy collectibles, just real silver value. Current spot: ~$37.35/oz or $1.20/gram. Calculate melt value as grams x $1.20 (plus dealer premium, usually 5-15%).

Here’s a Coin-by-coin guide:

Dimes (e.g., Mercury 1916-1945, Roosevelt 1946-1964):
- Pure silver: 2.25g
- Melt value: ~$2.70
- Face: $0.10
- New stacker tip: Tiny & cheap start. Get rolls of 50 ($5 face) for ~$140-150. Easy to store!

Quarters (e.g., Washington 1932-1964, Standing Liberty 1916-1930):
- Pure silver: 5.63g
- Melt value: ~$6.75
- Face: $0.25
- New stacker tip: Great mid-size option. Tubes of 40 ($10 face) run ~$280-300. Check for wear—circulated is fine for stacking.

Half Dollars (e.g., Walking Liberty 1916-1947, Franklin 1948-1963, Kennedy 1964 only):
- Pure silver: 11.25g
- Melt value: ~$13.50
- Face: $0.50
- New stacker tip: Beefier coins, solid value. Rolls of 20 ($10 face) ~$280-300. Avoid post-1964 Kennedys (40% silver, less pure).

Dollars (e.g., Morgan 1878-1921, Peace 1921-1935):
- Pure silver: 24.06g
- Melt value: ~$28.90
- Face: $1.00
- New stacker tip: Iconic & heaviest here, but premiums higher if collectible. Singles ~$35-40. Start with these if you want history

With the "super counterfeits," https://youtu.be/oYY0bI_Aiqc Rolexes without the paperwork are quite illiquid. Also during times of financial distress, assets like that tend to sell at a steep discount because people are desparate for liquidity at a time when there is very little of it. During GOOD times, collectables keep pace with inflation. During bad times they sell for pennies on the dollar, picrel, car was probably worth $600+.

Remember, silver but $50/ around 2011 After the 2008 crash.
And today the dollayis worth even less
So even $50 silver is a very realistic price but still modest considering the value of the dollar and the fact we're in a new new kind of clown world today
We are literally days away from 90 % of the world suddenly quitting using the USD for world trade and commerce. Too many people in the west are so arrogant, far, stupid and complacent they can't fathom the meaning of this.
$1000 silver might even be a low eastimuof where things can go.
And gold? Just apply the natural gold:silver ratio see for yourselfs.
Then know, we have already won.

China won’t do that yet because their entire energy model of dirt cheap solar is dependent on cheap(ish) silver. I expect they will crack graphene layer depositing soon though, lot of interesting stuff in that space going on and then the gloves will be off big time, they are obviously 1000% done with orange kikes tariff seething and America in general. A silver/gold/btc trade system would suit them just fine and send the price of all those assets through the fucking roof. My local coin shop doesn’t charge tax, and they don’t report on anything less than $9000 in one month or for items that couldn’t settle a COMEX contrac.

If you use legal tender coins then you’re legally just exchanging one denomination of money for another and that is not taxable in the same way that exchanging a $100 bill for 5 $20’s isn’t a taxable event.

Keep. On. Stacking.
We're still in firesale territory. When silver reaches several hundred per Troy ounce then I'll sell 1-2 ounces for a nice suit. When its over $1k/toz then I'll sell an ounce a month.
But until then I'll keep buying. The production of silver per person per year is 3 grams. If you buy an ounce a month that's 10 years worth of production for your "allocation" if that makes sense.

"credit investments" are a means of people deferring consumption without their purchasing power staking a claim on real-world capital assets. There are simply an impossible number of claims outstanding (sold to the tax-cattle as investments such as Social Security, pensions, insurance, stocks, real estate and bank deposits).
If credit needs to find a safe haven, there will be zero capacity for fiat dollary-doos chasing after the miniscule market cap of silver.
We produce $800-900M ounces per year GLOBALLY. Half goes to industry. But wait! $450M is left over for investment? Doesn't that mean there is a "glut?" No. Because even the singular country of America has all of their citizens spend $50 per person the entire yearly investment silver is instantly accounted for. $50 is pocket change. You can buy that with the coin jar sitting on your dresser. It's literally nothing.
Now imagine even 1 millionaire boomer in each city deciding to liquidate 100% of his credit investments and then attempt to buy silver. He could buy from LCS or online and it wouldn't matter. The supply chain would dry up instantly and the premiums necessary to keep the LCS stocked with inventory would be quadruple the futures price instanty (and that is a low estimate).
It's not hyperbole in the slightest when someone tells you silver will become unobtainium. Wealthy individuals will be placing private orders so far up the supply chain you'll never see an LCS open again for years.
All the while you earn the exact same paycheck as the prices of everything else continues higher and higher and higher with literally NOTHING to buy to preserve value.

Our coin shops will currently do cash transactions and no ID/reporting is currently required, but I have been advised that reporting may be required in the future as legislation has already been passed years ago, but not yet activated. (proclaimed)

Capital gains would require a record of the price something was purchased at. If everything was purchased previously with cash and there are no existing records, a self declaration would be the only option remaining.

The best time to start stacking was 25 years ago. The second best time is today. The time to SELL is when all your non-stacker friends, neighbors, Uber drivers, grocery clerks and baristas are telling you they are buying silver.

You will know it when silver mania goes public and the price goes parabolic. We are currently in the pre-mania phase. This applies to both miners and to physical silver.

Silver tends to overshoot like a soccer ball held under water. The final price level will be much, much higher today, but not as high as the panic spike.

You can ride the price up and back down and still come out way ahead, but you'll be better off if you take some profits with a good exit strategy. Rick Rule admits that one of his errors was NOT getting out when the market was topping in 1980.

>Might doesn't make right, but it's certainly the basis for our legal system.
And what is legal isn't always lawful and vice versa.
The following question is the most important one that every individual must answer for themselves:
>Will I die for a lie?
I personally have my answer, but I don't judge you or anyone else for trying to save their skins. I live by the motto:
>An honest man dies once and is rewarded with life, the cowardly dies millions of times by choosing to live a lie.
Colectivizim in deciet isn't a system of law, it's a false religion of violence and mob rule. This only stops if individuals say no.
I hear a lot about the 10th Amendment and states' rights, but understanding the meanings of the words:
>Constitution: to stand and act
>State: circumstance
You are a state, I am a state. The fictitious entity of let's say "the state of Isreal" isn't a place but a people, a collective, a mob. (Mobility) this entity I referred to as fictitious could be compared to the state of MD. Arbitrarily issuing decrees about what it's subscribers can and can not do with their private property. They won't stand up against it because they are cowardly, seeking permission, not liberty, not freedom, complying with assumptions of authority instead of alignment with productivity and prosperity. But the one's who leave are canceling their subscriptions.
This is the 9th Amendment in action. They are retaining their inalienable rights, and just because they suffer financially don't mean they won't thrive monetarily in the end.

Total above ground silver, is only enough to give each person on earth between less than one and 6 oz of silver at best. This is the MOST optimistic estimate I've seen.
>999 fine silver bullion, with total above-ground silver (including non-bullion forms) possibly reaching 20–50 billion ounces when accounting for jewelry, silverware, and other fabricated products.

The other thing than many people neglect to consider is future earning power. A Boomer with health conditions NEEDS a fuckton of savings because he has very limited productive capacity.

A young man who is fit, intelligent and industrious needs very little savings because he can create a large amount of net value from his work output. The amount of savings needed depends on context.

The more capital a smart, industrious person has, the better off he is, but an honest, smart, hardworking man will always be a highly valued member of any moral society. (we live in a highly immoral, corrupt society today--oy vey!)

We are headed into very dangerous times, and having some portable wealth with no counterparty risk may save one's life, or the life of their beloved.

If you can afford it, stack with both hands, but understand that if you cannot, so long as you have your strength, decency and wits, you still have a more than fair chance of still making it.

You obviously know that that is a respectable stack. Nearly 10 oz. of Gold is what I consider "make-it" money especially for this upcoming dollar debasement. However, when you say generics for Gold were you heavy in just for example 1 oz. Gold bars (PAMP, Argor-Heraus, Rand etc.) with or without assay? For your Silver was it just buffys and/or plain Silver bars? Maybe it was for the better. If possible, convert whatever remaining liquidity your comfortable with into more sovereigns, especially go heavy with ASEs. It'll probably be a much better diversified stack, better buyback opportunities once spot raises and premium explodes for ASEs.

I'd argue that circumstances, challenges, and opportunities unique to society during the Boomer era were novel and civilization-changing. Some took advantage, some squandered, some ignored. Gist: people were people dealing with the resources available.
I've heard the next gen, I guess called Gen X were damaged by how the Boomers raised them. They were brought up as the "Me" generation - it was all about them. Their Boomer parents provided everything, learned to encourage with participation trophies, and essentially spoiled the kids, making them feel 'entitled'. That turned into neglecting the Millennials, who grew up disaffected and feeling abandoned by their distant parents.
So yes, generations have behaviors, but I'd say they're products of the zeitgeists and are just the typical broad spectrum of human reactions to the conditions around them. I pity this generation growing up dependent on electronics. Eventually a generation will come where meeting face-to-face, will be extremely awkward and avoided. AI will be the social refuge, and eventually the new God - monitoring every move and rewarding or punishing.

If the car is still careening towards a cliff and no major event has occured to fundamentally change the financial landscape then I see no reason to take profits in any sizeable quantity.
We are not in some V shaped recovery waiting to snag a 10-bagger before looking for the next investment. The global monetary system has run its course, is saturated with debt and now running out of momentum.
Weimar Germany, a lot of people happily sold off their jewelry and valuables thinking they bagged a small fortune only to see the value of the Mark continue to fall (to the point their once great sale price literally revalued to ZERO right before their very eyes over the span of a few months)

I concur. The next big crash could be a major generational crisis, likely coinciding with events like civil wars (hello UK) and possibly a kinetic WW3. (we're already in soft WW3)

>It was all generics like PAMP and rounds. All assayed as 99.99%.
>Why ASEs?
There are some US tax advantages with ASEs, and in the USA they are more liquid, but even if I were in the USA, (Albertan here) I would be stacking primarily for QUANTITY, not quality.

If you have a choice between 500 ASE and 1000 oz of generic knowing the price will go up several multiples, which would you rather have?

The cautious would hedge by getting some amount ASEs and then bulking up with cheaper generics. At the end of the day, if/when the silver price is $300/oz, who cares if a Buffalo sells for $5 bucks cheaper than an ASE.

Exponential functions can't exist in the real world without running in to real-world problems. Money creation is creating a massive disconnect of what people think they own (and are owed) and what can actually be procured. It's not a pretty picture, but chances are we are not going to have a smooth landing, nor are we to have a peaceful default. Sad to say, but the Machiavellian course of action here is going to be widespread slaughter of people in war. If you kill the people who you owe money then you can much easier default on the debts, reduce the labor pool, and give people something to do while they rebuild. They can't just give you nothing and say "oopsies, my bad! Tee Hee :3" while your life's work evaporates in to nothing.
People hate to hear it, but the asset that underlies almost everything are U.S. Treasuries that need for you, me and every American to fork over $300,000 of value. The scary part is, who the hell would you even be able to see any asset to just to get the money to pay the government anyway? So on it's face it physically can not be collected without the liquidity provided by the Fed. It makes people very uncomfortable when they start to learn the precarious nature of their existence being a hollowed-out system of IOUs.

You have it backwards. Boomers were the ME generation. GenX were the "latchkey kids" who literally raised themselves. The Millennials had the "helicopter parents".

To give you some context, I'm an early GenX. I was raised by a stay at home mother UNTIL the mid 70s when inflation hit and then mom had to get a job. There was nobody at home when I came home from school, so I had to look after myself, and not burn the house down.

>My main point though, was each generation's behaviour is a product of the times, not an inherent trait that spontaneously changes without external stimulus.
I agree 100%. The external conditions of unprecedented wealth growth created the most spoiled generation in human history. Hard times make strong men. Good times make weak men.

North American Boomers are the product of the most exceptionally good times in human history, resulting in some of the most self centered, solipstic narcissists in human history.

I'm actually proud that I raised myself. (and didn't manage to burn the house down)

Yeah, I guess. Hence Trump and billionaires wanting more.

No comment on the trip, but yes, I agree, I have seen some Boomers whose entitlement was completely off the charts. IE, an heir who inherited MILLIONS and was livid because he didn't get it all because some lesser portion of the estate went to his younger brother.

He sincerely felt he should have gotten everything.

the thing is, in real life, monarchs and even just lower level lords truly did have 50k ounces (or even pounds) in their coffers. They were rich to the point that they'd usually stack gold since silver became unwieldy for the amount of money they had. 1000 oz of silver is great, but it's not nobility levels of wealth.
