Front yards are useless wastes of space. Zero privacy, no creativity, no use.

There's benefits and drawbacks. Great design pre-airconditioning in hot climates, pain in the ass to heat or cool with modern HVAC. It's not really low-cost tract-builder friendly though so you'll never see one that isn't custom. Multistory open floor plans are the meta to reduce costs. The fewer walls and less roof you build the more you profit. The design doesn't always fit the local vernacular either, which can be required. Unfortunately there's setback rules that force you to have a front yard and typically at least semi-transparent low fencing pretty much everywhere.
>>
Americans are so fucking rich that even their homeless have iphones. Like when I visited California, you would see homeless with their cash app info.

It's so clear that there shouldn't be a debate. You make more money as a Dominos Pizza manager in USA than as an engineer in Europe. It is what it is.
>>
Just look at their high schools. American highschools look like universities. That's why they are so OP at the olympics. Jesuschrist, their highschools have parking lots for the students o_O.

Americans are better than us. I've met many. They're always incredibly optimistic and have a special confidence that Europeans lack. For the American, the world is something that can be tamed. For the European, the world is a scary place you need to submit to.

My grandma used to tell me how she almost left with my grandfather to the new world. I wish she had done it. Those old Europeans that left for America did the right thing.

whut? you can't have a non see thru 2,5m cyprus or tuja row (with some tasty rawsberries and blackberries in between) around your garden behind a fence or brickwall of the same height?
i thought you are all free americans?
t. euro with a 200m2 concrete/brick house, 1000m2 garden and a natural green wall 2-3 m high, behind a steel welding mesh fence, gate, stair rails and window bars made from nice wrought iron.

in addition marble and parquet (beech) floors, 2 redundant heating systems (wood, electric), pool, bunker (required by law, but i like it).

i'd never buy such a cheaply made american cardboard house (with some bling bling), submissed to hoa bullshit.
every simple log cabin in the woods has more quality to it.

It's true that that the average american is (((significantly))) wealthier thant the average european (EU).
see: https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/opendata/new-international-comparison-program-data-sheds-light-on-global-
Most europeans have no idea of this becase almost nobody is autistic enough to look into actual data on income and wealth, and they (at least to some degree) believe the european "1000+ years of history" in their nations, despite the US as a single entity having a (largely) unchanged political system, and the average european country has gone through countless relovutions, govt. changes ( e.g. monarchy -> republic -> autocracy -> republic ) and the current form of governance in their country being newer and younger than that of the US. And the news in europan countries rarely show the US in a positive light, so some would give in to the reddit and leftist doomsaying about how the US is a hyper-capitalist dystopia where healthcare doesn't exsist, millions die in school shootings, and everybody and their mom is addicted to meth or fentanyl.

I am convinced that if the average skilled european worker (say a nurse) saw how much americans earn for the same work they do, and how much more thay can afford with the same amount of money there would be riots.
>>60879286
As you say the average 80IQ hispanic grunt on base in germany would probably be in the top decile (!) for net income in germany if you included their salary + housing allowance + other benefits.

well, i can tell you this as a 38.5 hrs wagie from middle europe:
on my last diving trip to key largo, like from kennedy airport to ft. lauderdale, i saw more homeless people, deranged druggies and crazies than in my entire life in Europe.
when shopclerks in a booze store wear shirts inside out because they cant afford laundry, waitresses begging for 20% instead 15% tip, but you cant open your car window in miami beach because some full bearded, bikini wearing hobo might try to steal stuff out of your car while waiting at a red light, somwthing is wrong with a country. very wrong.
it smells like poverty everywhere you look.

>>
>>60879448
Sure, but that is indeed the somewhat extreme case, you can find similar in many regions in europe (e.g. some parts of the Rhein-ruhr, french banlieus, bahnhofsviertel in frankfurt, certain gypsy settlements) though i will concede that it is easier to find it in america.

But the point I am trying to make is that the average responsible adult seeing that wouldn't settle in those places, there are huge swaths of the country where that level of poverty and desparity is rarer like large parts of the midwest, but nontheless it changes neighborhood by neighborhood and is very area-dependent . The average person that isn't a lowlife will have an equally safe life in the US as they would in europe.

I personally chalk it up to cultural differences where european junkies tend to be more "tame" than european ones and most importantly in my experience europeans are much much more tolerant of them on the streets, I have NEVER heard a european i know complain about homeless people having seen one in public (and I am witness to that), and even more NEVER have seen any european tell me that hey would avoid an area because of homeless people, it's really weird. I am VERY repulsed by junkies on european streets (they're mostly alcoholics though) and one time a guy i knew told me that he liked talking with them (if the nonsense that coumes out of their mouths can be considered talking). It's just really weird and likely just a cultural difference.
>>
>>60878815
Another of countless problems that europeans are ignorant to is the AC situation.

Old europeans are literally DYING LIKE FLIES because they have no AC and people are OK with this, it's actually unhinged.
https://archive.ph/oJPQv
>>
>>60879448
It's not poverty. We have a drug problem. These people don't even want to work, they just want to get high or yell at clouds all day because they are schizo or druggy. Leftists think they deserve the freedom to shit in the street and harass people. And then we have powerful groups that are behind the fent to destroy amercia from the inside. The homeless like that are mainly in big cities which in the US are all shitholes because of it. I really don't understand the leftist attitude about wanting to enable the mentally ill and actually supply them with more drugs.
>>
>>60879481
Junkies in my city (northern euro) are so rare that the 4 or so that sometimes do show up at the train station are known to everyone in the city. They are completely harmless and there hasn't been one instance of someone being attacked by them. I think a big part is that in my country if you become violent you can be forcibly admitted to a mental institution. So yeah I would say that people don't actively avoid areas where they hang around (at least here).

Still, in the last years the amount of regular junkies doubled from 2 to 4 and everyone is talking about it, so I'll have to disagree on the "nobody complains about them".
>>
>>60879490
I don't get it. Do they not have A/C in their cars? How can you experience that and then cope about not having it in your home as well?

>>
>>60879481
Unfortunately there's no solution which can just make these people disappear, no politically acceptable one at least. There will always be fuckups and the mentally ill who create a burden for the rest of society. You pay for them one way or the other - either through antisocial behaviour and crime (which has a financial cost), or through taxation so that the state look after them and thereby mitigate their harmfulness. America has chosen the former approach, Europe has largely chosen the latter. European addicts exist in large quantities as well, but most of them are out of sight living in hostels and social housing, getting food and medical care, and sometimes even a supply of drugs courtesy of the taxpayer. Here at least the majority of rough sleepers are illegal immigrants who can't access that kind of support.

This just wastes space that could be used on a proper spacious yard that scratches the "being in nature" itch a bit.

People refer to inequality and disparity as if they had been the same thing. If you want a prime example of inequality, look at South America. Disparity, on the other hand, essentially just means that people are poor by comparison to those that are richer than them. Which is exactly what happens in the US. Highest living standard in the world, but also the least satisfied people on earth, because they have to share a country with some of the richest people on earth. I actually feel bothered by Americans that think this is an actual issue, meanwhile, they're able to afford cars that anywhere else in the world would cost a fortune, for 60 grand, brand new and the latest model available. You're not a billionaire or a millionaire automatically just by being born in a rich country? Wow, fucking sad, bro. Literally the same type of commies that think they're entitled to anything just by being born. If wealth redistribution made sense and existed, all capital would flee from the US and go elsewhere. Sucks ass, doesn't it? Cry me a fucking river.

>>
>>60879005
We could still build these if we had time. The problem is everything is on these stupid fucking deadlines now. Something like that might take a long time, or if the builder gets really lucky with good building conditions and he's able to keep materials in stock, he might be able to get it done fairly quickly. There's no way to predict exactly how long something like that would take.. which is a HUGE issue for our jewish overlords who are mainly concerned with getting the job done as fast as possible (fast = shitty with lots of mistakes). This castle was made before the construction industry became so convoluted.

Lol Yuros won't admit it but I'm an American who lived abroad and this post is spot on

If you're a Yuro and you live in a city, there's a really good chance your "house" is an apartment and it'd look exactly like this. I lived in a wealthy suburb of Paris for a little while and the apartment/street looked basically just like this albeit more luxurious and nicer buildings, but it was essentially the same shit as this. No yard, no land. Just sardines in a tin
>>
>>60878815
This is a nice house but it's soulless. All modern homes basically are. In Europe you can live in a 2000 year old apartment that is still in decent shape (not quite as good, but still decent) where your family have lived for generations and actually experience real history and culture. Even in America I'd rather live in a cottage in some quaint New England or PNW hamlet.

The windows are designed to not let heat through and electricity is cheaper in America, but yes the cost will go up a bit.

Is that a one bed, one bath mcmansion?

I guarantee there is all kinds of nonstop fucking landscape noise all the time these neighborhoods are no better than the city. There is more to do in the city. Or out in the country. But a place like this is just the platinum tier wager quarters.

>sardines in a tin
A friend has a European wife in the US who refused to move back to Europe because she got attached to big ass American clothes washer and dryer machines and she didn't want to go back to tiny apartments that couldn't hold the machines lol

Nah, it's soulless. Something you'd see in a cheap magazine about 'trendy' interiors.

Exterior as well. Give me pic related any day of the week.

Nothing says "high trust" like having to pass armed guards just to get to your own home.
Do chudcels really?

>it's also hot enough to kill you
Lmao euros are weak minded. I'm so white I don't tan and just get freckles and I have lived in Texas and spend time working outdoors in Kuwait and Iraq. Just drink water. Never has the thought crossed my mind that I was going to die from heat. Holly shit.

You retards obviously missed out 17th century balkan tower houses. You got a vendetta with an albanian clan, gypsies or turks. No worries nonody climbing up your window. Note, if you look other sinilar houses up you will notice that albanians don't put windows that low for obvious reasons.

Inside looks fine but it always looks like they just shit these out on an open grass field and there is nothing but suburban sprawl for miles around. Its like you look an uncanny valley for houses.

I live in a Victorian house converted into a duplex and it has spoiled me. Won't be able to afford any of the houses in my neighborhood any time soon, but I refuse to be forced into buying some new build in an exurb.

A mcmansion is a large sq foot house built by mexicans without any craftsmanship in a mid area
Some construction companies still build quality, most build slop
>>
>>60878815
The house doesn’t look terrible (build quality questionable im sure) but the surrounding area looks like shit. A soulless, treeless, open plot of land dotted with the same identical looking house with no fence or privacy.

I currently live in a townhouse cuckbox but if im going to pay the money for a single family it’s not going to be something completely soulless like this.

What are you on about? Do you think everyone in the US lives in some urban hellhole? Vast swathes of land are full of white people living in high trust communities from the very poor to the wealthy. Its only in spic contaminated areas like Texas or California you have to pay a premium to have these all white communities because it acts as a pay wall to keep them out. Its also why you see new construction mcmansion neighborhoods like in the OP. America is big enough that even in nonwhite states you can just build a new neighborhood full mcmansions to keep the browns away.

It's Texas the wages aren't that high neither is the demand.

Fences ruin the look of the house. Imagine not being able to see half the house front he frontyard. Nobody plays in the frontyard anyways that's what the backyard is for which is fenced btw
>>
>>60885605
Just like any house that's also smaller than that at a normal price?

This fuckin house would blow over in a 70mph gust. Only buy a house made from 1980 and earlier.

>>
>>60887454
OSB and new lumber is still very good
the houses you see fall down were just built poorly
>>
>>60883855
Do you realize that isn't the US "countryside" that anon is talking about? That's the suburbs, that's where around half of all Americans live. Even some cities have lots of detached single-family housing with giant appliances, and they all have AC, I'm pretty sure its required by law in some places, at least for rentals.
