Be me:>No high school diploma>No college>No job>Not wanting to be a wagecuck>Job market requires 20 hour shifts with rent prices thru the roof>Can't afford transpo for jooob either or bus since fairs take at least half the days worth of hard earned sheckles.>"Sire, your bank check shows you have only 78.99 Dimes in savings".Wtf am I supposed to do anons, It's not my fault I was born in the wrong generation. What is the money making machine in this day and age?
>>60879365Connections most likely. Fake being an extroverted normgroid and through a friend of a friend of a friend land some do nothing job that pays six figures. That or just plain old luck.
>>60879588>"friends"Anon how do I tell you this...I have no friends, I'm a complete neet
>>60879365Get your GED retard
>>60879609Then what? do I just wageslave at my local mickey D's for the rest of eternity?
>>60879365Idk I'm just gonna start trying to apply to jobs outside of the USmytpt
Get any job you can while also investing as much as you can (time and energy, mainly) in learning marketable skills. I would suggest the trades. Electrician, HVAC, plumbing, painting, mechanical repair, welding, etc. At least around here, that seems to be the low hanging fruit for being able to support yourself reasonably comfortably. Your ultimate goal could be to run your own business in your chosen trade.
>>60879686Ty for the advice anon but I checked and the wages for those are no better than those of fast food restaurants or clerks. I live with >le parentsso, I'm not homeless yet.If it ever came to that, I would look into trades. But what business you would say is a sort of untapped market? any ideas?
>>60879622I'd say check out what ULINE has to offer. Here they're offering twice minimum just to move boxes around buildings. Training on use of machines that can result in higher wages at other places after you have some years of experience. But that's just the start. The money I've invested was all from a few months at Amazon. Less time on entertainment and a little time looking around at opportunity, and even playing it extremely safe (too safe in retrospect) I've seen less than 1K turn into over 30K. Imagine if I had put in more. Some would have, since some are more welcoming of risk. Never mind that I didn't cash out that 30K (I should have since a listing on a new exchange is often followed by a rise and then a dip to buy back in at) since I knew the project could go higher. In this case I speak of TOSHI and I should've believed it in and my own judgement more, but TOSHI is not really the point. It didn't even exist when I first began investing in 2023. Opportunity is out there, just gotta look. Yes, it requires some rough/unpleasant work to get the money to invest.Look at it another way: if things are going to feel unpleasant for a time, you might as well go through the unpleasantness of investment research (and the wait for the payoff) so you can achieve more than you would just waging or going to school. As you succeed, build a more and more stable life. Even preparing for potential weather/emergency/economic scenarios, you'll eventually run out of preparations to make. Then you can maybe get a bit caught up in thinking about a dream car, fancy foods, etc.
>>60879365>>60879609>>60879622My friend has his GED and became the supervisor of a factory at 26 years old. Then he got fired for calling the HR cunt a bitch to her face during a management meeting.
>>60879709Reminds me of that one scene in saul goodman, were mike works in the warehouse facility. I've haven't consider ULINE before fren, Thankiess. As for your investment, TOSHI, right? Would you say crypto currency is still profitable like it was for you back then with risks included?
>>60879714Why would he do such a thing?? was his HR a feminist or something
>>60879594Anon...thats why i said become a fake extrovert. Anyway nothing comes easy and with a push of a button unless you bought bitcoin in 2010. You gotta do anything you can retard.
>>60879365If you live in populated area temp jobs are usually the easy and they usually will provide transportation, if you end up for a week and do a good job you will probably get offered a full time job, get a loan for a car do grubhub/uber to pay for the car. I don't want to wagecuck, no one does I know crazy. This is honestly the easiest time to make money ever the sub prime crash happened 6 months after I graduated, e-commerce barely existed, smart phones had just come out and gas was over 4/gal
>>60879757If you look at a lot of major crypto they are lower than they were at one point in the last month. Earlier people were talking about BTC and others going down while silver physical/futures were climbing (I have both crypto and metals). Now crypto is swinging up again and many signs point towards rates (of borrowing money) either staying in a good spot or becoming cheaper as of September and beyond. Lots of excitement about crypto in general pumping. TOSHI has a history of recovering from brutal blows caused by war/conflict breaking out, some even believe it's reached the point where any dip that happens to it, it will recover from as it marches higher. So nothing is guaranteed to only go up amidst global tensions and natural phenomenon, but many think it's a matter of WHEN and not IF at this point. For the record, I didn't even put everything I made in those months at Amazon into Crypto/metals. Only about 5K into crypto BUT I did so once I could afford to. So I would say it's worthwhile for me to keep holding TOSHI but I got a position back when it was very new. Side note, I also don't really have friends and don't buy luxuries or eat out often. Still, I enjoy life. So I would say that mentally, a measure of restraint and patience is doable, while taking steps towards making one's life better in the future. Not dreaming about shoving future success into anyone's face either. Those Amazon shifts were 13-hour days too. Keep it simple and clean if need be.Your personal circumstances may require holding off on investing for now until you've build up money to spare, but that's how it used to be for me. New people, ideas and opportunities are entering this world every year. Many just don't even think about investing after a long day/week at work, so even just keeping the idea to look around in the future in mind is a good thing.
>>60879365>>60879622>>60879703Kek I always feel like such a chad when I come onto this board.
>>60879812I used to for my old social life anon, and it was miserable, It's gonna take so much time to get used to even look those normi retards in the eyes. Too bad I can't be rich right now because I was too busy playing playstation 2 in 2010 instead of investing on bitbux.>>60879817>provide transportIf I'd work similar to a place like ULINE or a warehouse, do you think they'd still provide transpo? or is it only for a few select jobs.>>60879833>Think it's a matter of when and not IFMy thoughts on crypto as whole, Even if you bought some xyz currency, there is always the bound to be chance it goes to the moon someday. You've summed up the rest of the practical advice pretty while retaining a level of realism. Did you consider saving as well, as a part of your mentality? or where you looking for other ways to source your income into investments other than crypto? Also what are your anon's thoughts on a youtube channel as a source of income? I know it's cringey to mention but I've noticed a lot of people just milk the site for views at this point, there's no authenticity there so I might as well grab that bag right?>>60879857Welcome home anon
>>60879365you go all in crypto and live with your momworked for thousands of neets so far
>>60879871Kewl. But say I fall to 0 dollahs, what's my failsafe?
>>60879872Only literal retards go to 0, and I'm saying this as a former retard. Two sure ways to do that:1. Leverage2. RugpullsStay away from CEXes, stay away from solana, buy dips, buy coins that are -80% and you'll be fine.
>>60879881Will try
>>60879862less avocado toast and Funko pops lil brown zoomer
>>60879862In many ways metals (actual physical gold/silver) are a form of savings that also come with the perk of increasing in value over the years. Of course it's practical to have savings in your local currency as well for whatever potential emergencies can spring up in your area (repairs, weather events, shortages, etc.) On top of savings accounts there are credit cards in places that give you cash back on certain purchases, which can help even if you only use credit you know you can already pay off that day/by month's end. YouTube and really anything else that could make legal money is not bad to consider. Perhaps it won't take off, perhaps it will. At least it's an extra chance being taken. My dad got into investing after me, wishing he'd gotten into it all sooner. Unlike us he was alive and had money during the early days of BTC, ETH, XRP, etc. Now that he's been looking into the scene he also that "when not if" out look. He's in his 60's and I've just entered my 30's, you're probably younger. So, yeah, focus on stabilizing your life with a source of incoming, while keeping in mind other ways to branch out using spare time/money. ZORA and AERO both appeared after every other crypto I've mentioned, but I already had positions in older projects and didn't feel I had the money to spare for them. They have performed quite well, with an outlook for further potential. Point is, new opportunities come along every year. So get stable, keep your health and keep an eye out for opportunities as time goes on. Believe it or not most people I've spoken to on /biz/ have told me to always do my research, sometimes even told me not to buy something they believed in because they believed a dip was coming (which then dip happen). So don't be in a rush, but be responsible and vigilant. Much as the wait for the big pay-off or the life-changing moment can be boring, good things do take time but they're also more likely to last.
>>60879897credit cards are risky anon.. idk about them, I see them as the same as loans, which is that you owe money to someone/thing which always adds that extra pressure. Currently I only have a debit card. It sucks about the story of your dad anon, no one could have seen the shitstorm cryptos would have taken upon their release in only a couple of few years. But it's like you said, new opportunities come along every year and so and so worth. Gud advice anon, nice talking to you, unfortunately for me, it's sleeping time, so I bid you all and the jannies good night. Best wishes on more of your investings fren.
