>we should tax your net worth even if you don't sell
>I made millions at Citibank because no one else understood wealth inequality

How do you respond without sounding mad?
>>
goofy ass cracka
>>
>>60881719
Why would I be mad when I agree with him?
>>
For clarity, it's
>we should tax your net worth even if you don't sell if you're rich
>>
people like this actually do make me mad: traders born with a natural ability to effortlessly take other peoples money, and they get so much of it they literally feel guilty and try to "give back" ie drag the ladder up with them.
>>
>>60881719
I kill him and that's the end of the problem.
>>
>>60881719
>we should tax your net worth even if you don't sell

it's called inheritance tax, the fairest way to collect wealth taxes is when you die.
>>
>>60881719
>How do you respond
By not talking to faggot commies
>>
>>60881719
Why should i get taxed on my unrealized gain? That disincentivizes economic activity. This is something well-known since the 14th century.

It's not so much a natural ability. When you work in a big firm, you have access to some information that retail just does not, plus professional training with trading. The only real innate ability you need is the ability to read and critically think. Game theory is important.

>>we should tax your net worth even if you don't sell if you're middle class
FTFY
I pay over 100k in income tax a year in the UK.
Yes, I am leaving. A lot of my colleagues already have.
>>
>>60881964
And this isn't even including VAT and Capital Gains taxes.
>But muh NHS
Good luck getting a GP appoinment lads.
>>
>>60881719
Wouldn’t such a tax erode generational wealth? What’s the purpose of making it if the wealth just goes back to the tax Jews which they use to feed their orc shitskin armies?

I work hard because I want a better future for my family. Take that incentive away and there is no reason to work.
>>
all taxation is theft, it is stealing to take what is not yours without consent

also the money is literally created out of thin air at the push of a button, there is no need to ever collect tax except to make life worse for everyone but those at the very top
>>
>>60881719
He's right you know
>>
>>60882369
Not really.
He thinks he is smart, because he won a couple of bets.
By his logic, if you min the lottery, you are a genius.
>>
>>60882327
i think he's only talking about the top 10% or something. if you are making money by working, that's fine, it's only the upward spiral of the rich that reinvest like 99.9% of their wealth because their lavish lifestyle is only a tiny fraction of their wealth that's the problem. at some point, you should pay a lot more taxes. make it 10 million dollars, maybe 20, but at some point, your reinvesting it driving up the prices of real world assets of people that actually need them, like housing
>>
>>60882541
No.
In the UK, you pay top rate tax at a mere 100k.
That's just middle class wagie territory.
>>
>>60882564
The Additional rate is 45% at 125k. HOWEVER, this is not the true story, since for every £1 over over 100k you loose your £1 free allowance, so there is a small band between 100-120k that is effectively 100% tax rate (or near to) & can in some cases exceed 100% once u start tapering other allowances.

I know cause it happen to me, when I earnt over 330k GBP in a year they started tapering even my pension relief ect. With good tax planning I saved myself paying 100k's though decent accountant trickery.

Only fools pay income tax, LOL.
>>
>>60882577
Agreed, but this is being painted as:
>We will only tax the mega gorillionaire rich bro. We promise :^)
When in reality its aimed straight at the middle class wagie
>>
>>60882596
it is aimed at anyone who has a capital gain within the financial year. in australia for example, that is every working age person as we are forced to put 12% of our income into superannuation (401K) which will most likely make some for of gain over the course of the year.
>>
>>60881719
>we should tax your net worth even if you don't sell
just learn to spend less money.
>>
I didn’t really bother to look up much else on his past other than what was in his YouTube video, but it seems like he basically got in at the bottom of the European debt crisis and just kept riding it until it stopped working
>>
>>60882596
Of course, its the classic normal middle class retard HOMO tax my anus shit.
It's bad enough poor people saying dumb shit like OPs video, but its even worse when some rich guy volunteers for the all rich to pay more tax?

I am way into the bracket of peoples he is saying by UK standards, deep 7 figs. Started from 0, but truth is, most brits do not want to invest, they do not want to be rich (Outside of lottery cards).

Any deep taxation theory like wealth tax would cause a huge exodus out of the UK, its old as gold. I think even the higher ups are aware such a idea is retarded even by UK standards, though wouldn't so sure.
>>
>>60881964
Where's a good place to go? Outside the west or what?
>>
>>60881719
Literally who?
>>
>>60881775
>Income tax is only a temporary 3% and only for the rich :^)
>>
>>60881719
Looks like slavic eminem on meth

By a bullet to his head
>>
>>60883061
I'm thinking Portugal.
>>
>>60882541
>reinvesting it driving up the prices of real world assets
Agreed. Im tired of paying rising wages to enployees. Get your own company and pay yourself.
>>
I swear to God I've click "don't recommend me this channel" on this dude's channel a couple of times and youtube keeps shilling it to me.
>>
>>60883886
I'm from Portugal and it's getting so full of indians, pakis, brazilian macacos and nafris is fucking unreal. Not only that but it received a wave of "expats" and "digital nomads" + all the tourism and a lame 90 m square appartment costs like 300k.

This country is over. The few high IQ people we produce, they all move to white nothern euro countries and the rest of our youth become neets.
>>
>>60881719
I guarantee this guys a manlet

So his opinion is worthless
>>
>>60884399
Your women are hot though tbf lad...
Hairy, but hot...
>>
>>60884395
Probably the most scrubbed from my Youtube feed next to Wet Leg. The algorithm is a big shill, as perhaps you'd expect from a Google operation.
>>
>we should have an income tax, but only on the ultra wealthy
20 years later....
>everyone but the rich are paying income taxes

See how that works?
>>
>>60882363
Who do they give the money to?
>>
>>60881798
He made money by being long bonds before the crash. He got told what to buy by the desk, he bought it, line went up when governments pulled the plug on interest rates. Nothing is special about this guy, in fact he's probably sub-90 IQ. He's also being shilled by government funded NGO's now to push their absolutely crazy communistic policies. Why do you think he popped up everywhere all of a sudden once Labour got into government in the UK?
>>
>>60881719
>well I work with the mentally handicapped and no one understands how much of a fucken retard you are.
>>
>>60881719
If all major countries agreed simultaneously to add a wealth tax so it couldn’t be evaded, if we phased it in over time with gradual ramp up to avoid a massive market crash from people being forced to sell, and if we only taxed wealth over a certain high threshold that no ordinary person would need to worry about, say $30M (while being indexed for inflation) and if we reduced income taxes for working individuals this could work.

I think an easier method would be to raise capital gains taxes while reducing income taxes (since rich people don’t earn w2 income) but then you have a similar issue of capital flight.
>>
>>60887191
Why do we even have to have taxes, we’re in a floating currency paradigm why not just print less money and reduce taxes to 0 by the same amount
>>
>>60887241
Because the institution responsible for managing the state budget and setting tax policy is independent from the institution responsivle for issuing currency. The FED has no say in tax policy while the government has no say in money printing by the FED (unless they abolish the FED completely and remake the entire currency issuance procedure).
