Would you invest?
>>60882788lego should sue roblox for ripping off their IP
>>60882788I'd invest in an FBI task force to arrest all the faggot chomo enablers, if the FBI wasn't actively assisting the pedos.
>>60882788What if Roblox got mad at that kid for trying to catch pedos because Roblox themselves has an internal pedo-catching team that works with the government to catch pedos? So Roblox is like half game, half pedo honeypotwould be kino
>>60883040If they had that then a lot of the notorious and well known pedos would have vanished randomly over the years. There is a higher chance they encourage that behavior.
>>60882788Honestly OP, from what seems obvious, Roblox is like the perfect storm of some kind of light version of the dark web. The pedo problem is a feature not a problem. Think about how they set everything up perfectly to allow so much plausible deniability. The only thing things they are missing right now is illegal / pirated movies like vrchat has and a proper gambling casino. I might be wrong on that they might have at least a gambling casino. The honest truth is that this is probably the template for the direction the entire game industry is going to go.

>>60882788this thing gives me nocoiner feels>could code>saw it like a decade ago>thought ugly shit will never succeed>its apparently thriving todayIs there earnings data on the creators?Let me cope with its not much.
>>60882788personally, no, but ive heard people do invest in the (even more) pedophile version of minecraft. just seems like you'd do better gambling on a new meme coin than a gme style retail pump and dump
>>60883350robloxs dark web was around 2010-15, it's a zombie platform now. it will suddenly die in a few years and no one will care because better game engines will come along.
>>60885873>thought ugly shit will never succeedI thought the same every time I saw that game while browsing youtube. Shit looks like a really bad mobile game, we're talking the kind youtubers download and play on a virtual machine to make fun of. Now it's apparently super succesful. It's so succesful in fact that brainrot livestreams from some no-name channels playing it get thousands of live views. I guarantee there's better games out there but for some reason this shit pile took off. I think it's just social media popularity. Same with those ugly labubu dolls, if it weren't for k-pop stars and influencers getting paid to show everyone how they "bought" it (got it for free and paid to advertise), no one would be buying those pieces of crap. Instead the chink that made that shit is now apparently in the top 10 richest chinese people. Circus show.
>>60886173crazy.
>>60886173Every time I think people as a whole couldn't possibly get more stupid, they come out and surprise me again. It's impressive, really.
>>60886173The reason why its doing so well is because it was the first time someone nailed 90% of the functionality of the metaverse before anyone else got it.Think about it like this, Ready Player One with shit graphics: combines gaming, free to play, social media, gambling, illegal shit and user generated content. Its basically like a 3d version of the internet advertised as a children's game but its an adult game where the children are the product. All the devs need to do is literally nothing. They keep it as wild west as possible.
>>60882788>Never been profitable.>89 Billion Market cap. Fuck no.
