I have 3 coworkers that have purchased XRP, all independently of each other. I know another that bought $40k DOGE, and obviously loads of normal people have bought ETH/SOL at this point. Outside of that its stables, TRON and Cardano. I don't know anyone that's bought the latter two but for some reason they remain popular.

Meanwhile Chainlink... I have never heard mentioned in person. Even the people that have bought other crypto's don't know about it. The usecase is hard to explain unlike a L1 ("my shitcoin is 1000x faster than BTC at 3% of the market cap!"). No one gives a fuck about the oracle problem, or being the interoperability layer between various banking chains.

This shit will never recreate a move like 2021 unless real adoption happens. Retail won't be interested until it has a massive sustained green candle, then maybe some of the narratives can take hold. Until then, forget it. I hope it happens soon

real adoption is happening right now, banks are rolling out tokenized rwas right now
>>
Retail investors are irrelevant
>>
>>60883190
How did a memecoin like doge end up with such a high market cap if retail is irrelevant?
>>
>>60883174
I have a big group of close mates that have been dabbling in crypto to varying degrees. One of them clued me in to CL and helped me access the ICO pool contract. He sold a few years later, which at the time seemed like madness. He's now retired from hustling in the shitcoin casino. None of the other friends have done more than buy a small bag when I drunkenly extole CL virtues like that shitfaced friend that veers violently towards antisemitism when they've had too much (also me (sorry Ari, I'm only human)). In retrospect, they did the right thing. I'm the worst off out of all of them because of my belief in truth > trust and the world that Sergey painted. I don't talk about Chainlink anymore, and if asked, I'll brush aside the question and change the subject because it's embarrassing to believe in something in a world where no one believes anything.
>>
>>60883212
Elon Musk isn't retail
>>
Yeah. XRP will always topple LINKIES. It's not too late
>>
>>60883174
what oracle problem? everything seems to be working fine without chainlink
>>
>>60883174
>or being the interoperability layer between various banking chains.
i think this has to be focus for marketing for normies from now on. get into their heads that chainlink is needed to help the blockchains communicate with each other - that it is https (redditors have seen https in their browsers and will feel smart understanding this)

i think we just to drop that the oracle angle as normies simply don't believe that blockchains don't know the price of USD or NVDA or whatever, let alone other data
>>
>>60883174
Linkies will piggyback off of Cardano when ETFs go through plus BTC defi, unironically
>>
>>60883174
TS;DL
(too stinky; didn't linky)
>>
>>60883174
Good

I don’t want stinky wage slaves buying my coin anyway. Let them buy xrp. Someone’s got to wash the toilets!
>>
>>60883544
The truth is that normies will never understand until Chainlink powers everything

They will think they are smart when they buy 0.3 "shares" at 2k and make the 81k reality
>>
>>60883174
What do you see when you search Chainlink community? 4 chan content. Normies hate it.

What is Chainlink? "The crypto that connects different cryptos and Everytime your link is used."
>>
>>60883190
Retail is very relevant you fucking retard. We won't hit ATH with zero new retail.
>>
>>60883174
>I have 3 coworkers that have purchased XRP
I made everyone in my family to invest in XRP below 30 cents, one of my cousins put 30K EUR when i told him about it, now he's up massively, what a madlad, kek.

That's still a 40x
Holy fuck we are going to be so fucking rich
>>
>>60884085
Yeah lets first try to get to ATH price wise. Market cap wise you are almost there.
>>
My cost basis is below $2 but I am still in extreme pain.

People did not often talk about Amazon until they had bought a book
>>
>>60883956
You are a low value individual that's looking for pump and dumps to fill his bags. Sergey doesn't shill the token because they don't give a fuck about retail, they want institutional investors to power the future of financial services.
You're scrabbling around in the dirt like a jeet looking for fallen coins.
>>
>>60883190
Who buys our bags then smart guy? The plan is to dump on retail.
>>
>>60883174
Turns out chainlink is just suppressing it's own price because it's so big and important that they don't want the wrong people buying in or taking notice, so they just kept quiet, rake in the cash, act like a monopoly, and hope the law doesn't notice
>>
>>60883174

you just knew someone was going to drop that one
classic

one of the many people destroyed by chainlink's lies

props to you on admitting all of that
most here have way too much hubris to do the same

>You are a low value individual that's looking for pump and dumps to fill his bags

look at this guy virtue signaling about losing money

> Sergey doesn't shill the token because they don't give a fuck about retail

a few actions on cl's behalf that directly contradict this statement:

they made a post a while back telling people to send a chainlink summary blog to friends and family to increase awareness
they made a skateboarding ad video and some cartoons targeted at younger people
they hire advocates that try to sway sentiment on social media
they advertise in public transit areas (subway, bus, etc)
they put out videos on tiktok and instagram
>>
>>60885378
>Bunch of 40 IQ schizo bollocks
I've never seen Sergey shill the token in any way whatsoever. He speaks about the product and what it does but has never told anyone to buy a stack.
I'm not down, I'm fully staked and I'm never selling.

Is this supposed to be this big revelation to you? Do you not visit any other websites, forums or social media besides /biz/? Because LINK is not Chainlink was not even a part of major conversations until Trump gave Sargay a pat on the shoulder last month.
Daily reminder any self-respecting bank that sees any sort of utility in blockchain stuff would build their own solutions, not hire middleware developers. Just my opinion though.

You people don't realize how tiny the crypto industry is compared to the real markets. When tariffs were announced the stock market lost more money in 24 hours than the entire crypto market cap.

>actively work towards alienating retail
>WHY WONT RETAIL BUY OUR BAGS!?!?
Big mystery
Link would moon overnight if they bothered trying to explain to normies how they are the bridge that would make it possible for banks to interact with the XRPL and compliment XRP. Instead they just impotently rage at XRP guys making more gains than them to their own financial detriment.
>>
>Link at $100B mcap is a 6x
>Link at $200B mcap is a 12x
>Link at ultra delusion permabull Eths current 500B mcap is a 30x
What's even the point ? You're all clearly here to make money. "Passive" income "staking" has proven to be a meme and you would've made more money swinging or taking profits at any time rather than staking lmfao
Smarter investors buy something with more moon potential that isnt currently at 15 billion fucking market cap
Literally just a bluechip like btc and eth

Because it started as a joke back when crypto was actually fun and the only people around knew the merits of btc before erc20 spam killed the space. Because even the comedians were of a high technical caliber, it has high fundamental utility. Ltc/doge are, to a thin degree, more btc than btc as of now since it has been strangled and crippled.
>>
>>60883174
Crypto is only valuable because no one is actually adopting and trying to do useful things with it. The bubble would pop so fast if they did. (since it's all useless bullcrap)
