>Have vintage collection
>Try to sell
>Hundreds of conversations over two weeks as follows:
>"No, I don't want to pay 15% off on NM money cards that you gave as a goodwill gesture, I can get them off [WEBSITE] for cheaper [LIE]"
>Uhh...They don't ship to Australia since tariffs.
>"Ackshually I have a friend in the U.S. that ships them over [LIE]"
>Wouldn't that cost more than the cards I already have here ready to go?
>"No, you don't understand, I want your cards for cheaper!!!"
I've been selling parts of my collection for just over 2 weeks, and I already want to get a lobotomy to completely forget ever interacting with you retarded manchildren and teehee gamer grrrls. I traded MtG for years and 99.9% of trades were smooth and easy, while 95% of the interactions with Pokemon card traders have been fucking insufferable. Thank fuck I will never deal with your ilk ever again once sold. Fucking spastics, the lot of you.

Got a few unopened and graded packs from 1999 which I won't touch for another 10-20 years until millenials start inheriting boomers wealth and some dork will pay anything for the nostalgia of opening a pack

>not memeing, that is the real PSA 10 population of this card
Pokemon card mania is legitimately insane for people to be paying out the ass for pieces of cardboard WHICH AREN’T EVEN SCARCE.
It’s the beanie baby frenzy on steroids. The games aren’t even good anymore bro. At least buy low pop shit if you want to collect. It’s madness.
>>
>>60887902
Pokemon investing has been only growing stronger for 15 years anon. This shit aint beaner babies
>>
>>60887902
Imagine if buttcorn or Ethereum had a pop of ~1,300. They would be over a million each. I don’t think people understand how big these cards can get. Each one is a special shitcoin but it has an extremely limited supply in relation and the market trades slowly. It’s the perfect powder keg that no one is thinking about. Not only that, but it is physical unlike crypto, plus it has an art component. I love framing my cards and displaying them around the house. Art has value in the millions, even at a “high population”. But honestly in comparison to shitcoins that can just be created with a new erc 20 contract, it’s not even a comparison: these cards are rare, beautiful, and desirable. Many shitcoins can’t even compete.

You're supposed to buy singles off Ebay then Sell them on Amazon like a normie who sells LEGO or whatever for a living.

Here's the cheat code to selling raw pokemon:
If it's not slabbed, don't even fuck with trying to sell high value shit raw.
If it's played (not near mint), join groups with players of retro formats. They will buy cards en masse regardless of condition so long as they are sleeve playable. My come-up on these kinds of cards is around 35-50% because no one wants played copies, they want mint copies. Buy the played stuff that sits at a steep discount, move it to the groups of retro players at a premium.
Research the good cards for 2004-2010. (There are common/uncommon cards worth $10+) Amass them in sets of 4. (Lowball sellers who have 1-2 because everyone needs 4) Move those sets to players at a premium because you have 4 copies.

Delusion and cope.
I can’t take you fags seriously when you think this is a legitimate argument.
One day they will crater and never come back. And I will laugh.
>>
>>60891447
Agreed, modern cards will crater. Anything pre-2020 is a good bet though.

I literally just pulled the chase cards, Prismatic Umbreon ex and fucking Mewtwo ex in destined rivals yesterday.

I hope they get at least a 9 when I grade them soon.
>>
>>60887235
Yeah because Mtg collectors are boomers with pensions and Pokemon collectors are neckbeards on the dole

Good luck doing this now, Amazon in insufferable and you will likely NEVER get ungated. Also that Keepa chart looks like shit and Amazon (all that orange) will never share buybox.
>>
>>60889095
Buying a single trading card on Amazon seems bizarre
>>
>>60891554
They need to be a 10 anon. 9s are worthless. You might as well crack them and keep them raw. I have two bubble mews. The one i pulled graded a 9 and I bought a 10 for 600 bucks before it took off.
>>
>>60887235
Because mtg nerds buy and trade to build decks. Also mtg is everlasting. Ok comparison. Ill allow it because mtg is goat.
>>
I want a psa10 of my favorite pokemon but i'll probably get scammed
>>
>>60887171
Nice you got a PSA10 lol, a PSA9 of that actually lowers the market value by almost $100 lmao. Pokemon and Digimon are like the nice go to for collecting for some reason besides One Piece as well.
>>
>>60887412
>Skyla 149 full art from BC is $4500
WTF Even a PSA10 only is like 2k, where is that site getting the value from?
>>
>>60887082
>10
>they still make you bend he card all the way over, thus insuring that it will fall apart exponentially faster with the magnitude of microfractures you just put in it
>>
Is it better to buy singles(only get the chase cards/SIR cards in Pokemon) or to just buy the packs and pray for pulls?
