>>

The main thing also is how fast your order executes. Robinhood is trash because they front run your orders and increase the ask price. You get really shit asks using it.
The closer you can get to fair market asks the better your spread is going to be in the end. Doesn't matter a ton for stocks unless you're algo trading or day trading, but for options its killer. I've tried buying options on low volume stocks and watching the ask literally run away from me is always a bad sign that its only the market makers offering those positions.
The best thing to do in that situation is to never move your ask. Let them come down to grab you because their game didn't work out trying to pull your bid up.
>>
I'm going to lightly shill XTRAF.
100M cap Canadian pennyshit. Not available on Robinhood which makes memespike unlikely. Only ~15M or so in revenue. Low debt.

They make ML enabled metal detectors that run the signiature through pretrained models to detect weapons without needing wands or separate scans for bags. I.E, two units and you just walk through. They've got a small but decent number of installs at stadiums, schools, universities. Finances aren't fucked, though they have diluted in the past. Wife runs a large outdoor venue and got spilled this pretty hard. They decided not to do detectors, but she said it was easily the best of the products they evaluated. I didn't pay much attention at the time. Went to an outdoor concert about a month ago that had the system installed, was impressed. Asked her if it was the same shit --- yes. I used to be involved in security for a school a million years ago, and no conveyor system for bags solves the biggest logistical issues there.
TLDR: cheap Canadian tech pennyshit with a not horrible balance sheet who's product solves a real problem. TAM is not small --- 15000 school districts in the USA plus venues blah blah blah. Conventional ML but a good use case and can say "AI" with a straight face.

Seems like it's worth investigating, but my concern is false negatives. One false negative letting a gun into a court room and no one will ever buy from them again. And if someone actually gets shot as a result they'll be buried in lawsuits. At least with wands you can blame operator error.
>>
>>60891074
I don't use or have a RH, retard. I just know how those niggers work and make sure to warn everyone off from them. Agree, but pretty easy to tweak model sensitivity to be heavily biased towards false positives enough to handle this, while not freaking the fuck out. Still people manually checking any beeps. Also trivially easy to build massive training data. I'm in data, formerly a data scientist. IMHO this is a perfect use for conventional ML, just crank the sensitivity to eliminate false negatives.

>The AFD really hates brown people
Krautfag chiming in.
nothing can be further from the truth.
every party in our "Regierung" is certified kosher, AfD included.
AfD plays the part of being kosher-right. Their objective in the greater scheme of things is to siphon up the fringe "rightwing" lunatic votes, throwing those people a metaphorical bone of having done something and now things gon be changing whilst in reality the party themselves absolutely going fucking nowhere showing zero results at all etc. etc. yadda yadda you know how this game is played.
i can assure you. EVERY party in our "Regierung" is
>pro israel
>pro immigration
>pro replacement migration
>pro kill whitey
the only differentiating factor in the topic of immigration among the parties is the following:
>the amount of formalities it should require for the immigration process
the far left?
>come one, come all, just come
the far right?
>fill out form 1, 2, 3,....,69. go floor 7 room 2 get stamp XYZ. AND THEN YOU'RE IN
I assure you, that's the only differentiating factor.
They all hate whitey.

Not options, but I lost $1200 by panic selling a TSLA inverse ETF. However, if I'd waited another hour, I would've only lost $600. If I'd waited one more day, I would've broke even. And if I'd waited a second day, I would have seen a substantial profit.

Selling naked calls is absofuckinglutely retarded because its the equivalent of shorting the stock, ie infinite loss potential (straddles have a naked call).

Selling a put means you get assigned and baghold as a worst case scenario. Same as buying a stock.

Selling spreads means you have defined risk. Something you dont get by buying stocks.

Options are great when you aren't a retard.

Guess it depends on how you define war. US showed that it can stay in Afghanistan for 20 years without winning, then change their mind and say oh my bad. As your country has been destroyed and millions are dead.

Going to war with China without nukes would be very, very bloody and like all US wars change nothing in the end.

Because you are. The people that died there were fighting a 20 year war. And the only reason it didn't have the troop numbers of Korea/Vietnam is because of technology. Afghanistan isn’t shit compared to real war. Look at Ukraine. That’s what real war looks like in the modern era. We’re talking a million + casualties in a few years. Hundreds of deaths every day, people getting blown up and mowed down trying to push lines.

It was 20 years and that is greatly simplifying things. The Northern alliance was fighting a civil war with the Taliban. Is that not a war that we stepped in? So suddenly we (the USA) are in and it is not a war? What is your argument anyway? Conflict vs War was Nixon gaslighting over the Vietnam WAR to make it look like no big deal.
