I'm a newfag that won't make it from link but I've been reading the blog and studying blockchains/smart contracts/DONs and I'm curious how I can benefit from a future anticipated by Chainlink.
I was thinking that even though it's going to get really shit for programmers, smart contract developers will get a pass because they are working with critical financial infrastructure. Especially a developer that specializes in the CRE stack will be necessary at most financial institutions to integrate them into the rest of the Chainlink network. Maybe it could be profitable to run your own business offering Chainlink integration services for smaller banks? It's an open protocol from what I understand so this should be fair game.

idk some random thoughts
- do chainlink integrations but run it via your own node to gainsmaxx. You gotta know or talk to the link team on what the banks actually want from it. but you're gonna have to get practice somehow doing it
- build a defi app that uses chainlink and try to get users on it

also nothing is stopping you from buying it and holding onto it and trying to get a 4-5x over the near future

provide some kind of non-replicate real world data that could be important for some applications
My immediate thought was standardized testing spectrum of weird chemical compounds in ICP-AES, GC/LC-MS and NMR

also identity theft protection signature / real world validity signatures.

Assuming a normal individual is able to make fake AI porn videos of everyone, people will be hesitant to upload videos of themselves. But the bigger problem is, how do you prove its NOT you?

People will slowly assume every video is fake unless posted through official channels, but what about private videos that somehow got leaked? You could argue that of course Celebrity X would not post a nude sex tape on her social media account.

My idea is: you could force embed a VRF number / privatekey on a video or picture the moment you take it and record it, then record it on a blockchain via ZK identity proof signatures. You could also expand this on GPS/Location data, basically making a digital trail of yourself that is private but provable.

Hence when someone releases a video of you doing porn and saying its leaked, you can just ask that person to provide the onchain proof of that, or better you can provide onchain proof you weren't at that location or were doing something else, but in a private manner that doesn't disclose your information

Becoming a Chainlink/CRE specialist dev is probably the smartest thing you could do to lock in for the next 5 years and make bank. Chainlink documentation is excellent, so you will have lots of support.

>kek, you're talking about a handful of jobs which would also need to be remote
