Its to soften the blow to their token price caused by linkies who only want to instadump their airdrop. Imagine what the price of SXT would be right now if they had given link stakers the full promised allotment.I assume all 100+ Build projects have a similar arrangement with CLL. After all, the whole point of the Build Program is to kickstart projects that CLL sees as having some potential in the long run. And releasing 5% of the total token supply in one airdrop wouldnt exactly be conducive to said project because they also need to dump their tokens at a good price to fund their own R and D.There is no guarantee that the second half of the allotted SXT tokens will be included in Season 2 or in another future season. That's between SXT and CLL. You should expect that Season 2 will be something like 5 Build projects make their tokens available to claim in seperate installments spanning a few years. Yeah its frustrating that we won't get all 100 Build tokens in one day, but again think of what would happen to all those Build projects if link OGs got a $500k payday of shitcoins in one single day.

BUILDs whole scheme was to subsidise link price feeds and tech stack for the entire crypto space for name recognition and to be the default provider for as much of defi as possible. Of course as a dev you'll learn how to integrate the chainlink network into your project when it's coming basically free because you minted the tokens from nothing.Let's be honest most of these projects won't go anywhere and their tokens are probably useless. Chainlink knows this so when the project fails those devs go on to other projects or companies they will already know about chainlink and how to use it.
