Still hoping for that next big thing to appear, ngmi otherwise. What a fucking waste of opportunity.

>the bullrun is underwhelming
The bullrun was in 2024. Most of the shit out there dumped 50-90% since then and hasn’t come close to recovering. The fact that you were able to break even is a miracle. That’s your sign for exiting crypto. Don’t let some crypto jews trick you into buying more.

>Still hoping for that next big thing to appear, ngmi otherwise. What a fucking waste of opportunity.

I constantly experience an internal paradox. Thinking about cryptocurrency makes me extremely depressed, because I've had every opportunity to "make it" and I completely fumbled it every time

>first heard about Bitcoin in late 2009 here on 4chan
>didn't buy because seemed like only use-case was buying drugs on Silk Road and I could already get drugs irl so I had no need
>still thought it was cool, but figured if it took off I would just exchange dollars for BTC and have same purchasing power, never considered BTC could increase dramatically in value
>BTC goes to $1000 in 2013, I am paying attention, lamenting that I did not buy earlier
>Mt. Gox is hacked, BTC dumps
>Go to Vegas in 2014 - get photo with my friends - behind us is an electronic ticker advertisement telling us to buy bitcoin
>Notice BTC rising in early 2017, keep thinking about buying, waiting for a dip, just keeps going up
>July 2017, make plan with my friend to hang out and buy bitcoin, but we just get drunk instead
>Finally buy October 2017 when BTC is $9k
>invest in altcoins, 3x my investment but it dumps before I can sell
>start dating crazy girl late 2018
>have sick parent, stop paying attention to crypto until early 2020
>buy altcoin in Feb 2020
>everything dumps in March 2020
>buy more of shitcoin instead of bitcoin
>it 10x's, from a 6k investment I had 1 BTC worth of crypto
>do I sell it for BTC? no
>do I sell it for USDT? no
>convinced it will go higher, I hold
>it dumps by half while I'm on a flight
>I sell and have 30k left
>I lose 20k on binance futures
>I throw the rest into another cryptocurrency in May of 2021
>I'm still holding it
>too poor to invest any more since then
>feelsbadman.jpg

but I still believe, and I'm still holding

if you want to experience the 2016 - 2021 bitcoin roon again, BitcoinCash is gonna do the same thing, albeit maybe a little slower.

That'll do it.

If it makes you feel any better, you would’ve never held onto bitcoin until it was $100k. Found out about it maybe 2010 on /b/, got in on it at about $250, had about 15. Of course it dumps so I just got rid of it. For basically the next ten years I’d say “that’s nice” whenever it pumped to ATHs. Now I hold 0.3 bitcoin and I’m not selling for several decades.

In hindsight whats about to happen will have been so obvious, but everyone will miss it anyway.

that's web3 banking. XRP, A, XLM!! That's your ticket to make it anon

Assuming you're not a jeet faggot that shits up this board with scam shilling, I already hold chainlink boughted at $16. It is at least not as shady as xrp, even though all the gains are already behind, again.

Did you go to some STEM/tech prep high school? None of the popular kids in my high school at the same time even knew what Bitcoin was.

Almost like it was choreographed in advance, all the info is out there public from credible source
Yet the galaxy brains over at twitter are utterly ignoring it completely

Just like nvdia is obvious now but at the time everyone was saying worse than 2008 crash in just two more weeks and never bought

>you can't fix stupid

before bitcoin really started to take-off in 2017 I just never saw it as a store of value or a get rich quick tactic. I thought of it as cryptocurrency. I thought about it the way I think about money. I've never thought about buying a ton of Euros or Yen and holding it for years to get rich. I assumed cryptocurrency would be the same. I've made a little money off of it, but personally I am disappointed that we don't appear to be any closer to using it as currency than we were a decade ago.

>If it makes you feel any better, you would’ve never held onto bitcoin until it was $100k. Found out about it maybe 2010 on /b/, got in on it at about $250, had about 15.

I'm not sure, I've been able to hold a lot of stuff that does fucking nothing for a long time.

My biggest problem back then, and today, is that I'm poor with minimal expendable cash. Throwing a few thousand dollars into bitcoin in 2017 was a huge part of my net worth. In the early days I was still in college and didn't have a job. Even in 2013 and 2014 I was only makin 13 bucks an hour, made investing very difficult

>at what point will you admit defeat and just hold bitcoin

At this point never. I'm only interested in high risk high reward opportunities. I still have hardly any money. I need a 100x or 1000x investment. If I buy bitcoin now and it goes to 1 million per BTC that basically does nothing for me. If that happened the absolute best I could hope for, if I put all of my money into btc, would be having my investment be worth somewhere between 150 and 300k

>If I buy bitcoin now and it goes to 1 million per BTC that basically does nothing for me
youre a retard with a gambling addiction. humbled time and time again. you even got a stroke of luck and beat the odds ONCE with a 10x, and that's mindraped you.
>3x success
>turned into exit liquidity
>10x success
>turned into exit liquidity
>thinks he'll get a 100x-1000x success
>thinks he wont get turned into exit liquidity (again (x3))
even if you did strike it rich, you'd fucking blow it all again like you did with the binance futures and further shitcoin gambling.
a fool and his money are soon parted i suppose, thanks for being a non-competitor in this world anon
