I've been buying as much silver and silver mining stocks as I can get my hands on for the past year. This 40+ year long cup and handle pattern is breaking out now.

The problem with silver is the CFTC keeps smacking it down every time it goes up. Between that and premiums it’s too Jew’d to every make any money with it

>normalfags are buying gold
They aren't buying gold. They only just started figuring out that crypto is a scam so they will be looking for alternatives. Gold is too expensive for them, so silver might be the next best thing but it's still too early. They will be buying in when the price is higher
>>
>>60902850
>make any money with it
Silver is the money. That's the point. You trade in paper for metal, not the other way around
>>
>>60902922
They are buying the shit out of retail store gold from Costco, they keep selling out. But they're mostly turning around and flipping it a few months later for a pittance instead of holding it.

so also platinum, iridium, and rhodium. osmium looks really cool but seems to be a toxic pain in the ass if you heat it or work with its powders so it's not noble enough for me.

silver is a medieval peasant tier midwit trap. it literally rusts. oh sorry it doesn't rust, it "tarnishes". it goes bad and no longer looks shiny. that's gay. silver baggies like to shill how silver has so many advanced uses, but that's even more true of iridium and platinum.
>>
>>60902658
FPBP came here to say this
platinum is dope
its not palladium
if you really want to get into weird metals that could fly
bismuth and tellerium

tellurium and bismuth

rhodium and iridium are cool along with indium but they are impossible to get reasonable amounts of
tellurium is like 5x rarer than gold but 1/1000th the price.

im up 4x on my bismuth from a year ago
i expect it to go way higher over the next few years

The physical possession is really only worthwhile for gold due to VAT exemption (except in some regions, silver is also exempt).
>>
>>60904464
Certain bullion dealars can sell second hand Silver VAT free, for bongs.
Alternatively you can take a cheap trip to Jersey and buy or sell.
>>
>>60902617
Platinum is historically undervalued compared to gold
>>
>>60902617
Now that gold is mainstream, the contrarian bet is just stocks and crypto, believe it or not.

>silver. it was always silver
This.

Gold is already being substituted by silver and most of you don’t see it. Gold is pricing itself out of circulation and retreating into its ancient niche: a dead weight for sovereign vaults and billionaires, “money of kings” but no longer liquid for anyone else. The cope that “gold = crisis, silver = industry” ignores how real buying works. In a panic nobody pulls up ratio charts, they grab what they can afford. That’s why silver moves by the kilo while gold barely leaves the counter. And as silver rises this doesn’t weaken, it strengthens. Higher prices mean higher value density, and suddenly silver isn’t bulky junk but compact wealth. At $50–100/oz a single bar equals what used to take ten, and that flips the psychology. Silver becomes a better monetary instrument the higher it goes. Gold meanwhile turns into a static trophy asset, a relic locked in vaults while liquidity shifts to silver.

The tipping point is between $80–150. That’s when silver stops being “poor man’s gold” and becomes “the gold of everyone else.” At that level households and latecomers won’t even bother with fractional coins, they’ll go all-in on silver. Every dollar higher makes silver more monetary, while every dollar higher makes gold less usable. In the next crisis, people won’t be asking for “two kilos silver and a half ounce gold.” They’ll just say: “forget gold, load me with silver.” Gold is losing the liquidity crown. Silver is taking it, right in front of your eyes.

Yeah, it darkens. Big deal, so does your mother’s lung when she chain-smokes. Tarnish doesn’t erase its value, it just proves it’s real. Meanwhile goldcucks are worshipping a shiny lump that no normal human being will ever transact with. If I have bars or coins that are too tarnished all I need to do is giving them a hot saltwater bath on aluminum foil and the tarnish is gone.

No one is buying gold. Most of retail is selling everywhere

Only people buying gold right now are spooks like central banks or BLACKROCK

Unironically... if you have a place to store industrial metals such that you can keep a hefty stash, this is a good call.

USD coinage has a lot of copper and zinc and nickel. Older pennies have solid copper, even older dimes and quarters have silver. Just take a roll of coins to the bank and trade for a roll, sort into copper pile, zinc pile, nickel and so on. Fun to play around with as a hobby, and has the US mint as proof of quality meaning it's easy to liquidate in the future.

Copper siding, zinc tabs, nickel plates- stuff to hold on to for later. The COMEX has already had seizures and fits over copper and nickel, zinc will follow suit soon enough and all three become precious in a world war scenario.

Just remember in a global crisis the three metals you want: gold, silver and lead (ie bullets).

Also worth having cigarettes and whiskey stockpiled, makes for easy barter later.
>>
>>60908567
Not for nothing but average home prices in the USA haven't changed much from some odd ~200 gold coins (1oz) in a long while. You're not wrong, just saying gold transactions exist but that sorta proves your point since who has hundreds of ounces of gold and is still looking to buy a house?
