i mean when i bought it, it was right after the dilution and it was like $5 above book value, it's a decent play now but it's crabbing way too much, other shit were going up faster

i just hope GME doesnt go up faster than 35% lol i'd feel bad selling it just to keep chasing my other positions (nicest one is +35% since i initially bought GME, and less nice ones are +15% as i said with CXDO and IDN)
imma sell VTSI tho, it's kinda slow, only around +5% after a month, there are more interesting stuff now, kinda looked like someone was impatiently buying NXGL at close today too

brokerages need repeat customers. I guarantee you I can go in their annual report and find astonishing customer retention. A life-time customer is worth more than any one transaction. It's not like a guy loses 10k and now robinhood is 10k richer. It's more like they're $10 richer and now have a client who will not be returning, or returning with any more cash.
>>
>>60921602
very boring indeed, recently ive been crabbing and suddenly it finally broke out after how long it was consolidating for now

and now i think it's back to consolidating mode, at least everyone knows the new floor is $1.60 (the price that institutions bought the CEO's shares from him coz he had to do a forced sale due to divorce -> the marital separation back in May when it was ~50 cents was apparently not the last of it, turns out the wife came back for more and probably mad since it coincidentally went up over 3x since the initial marital separation so there must have been some lawyer fights)
wow what a messy divorce, i thought he had gotten away with doing the separation of assets while ai dashcams was only ~50 cents but apparently the wife can go after more if it "coincidentally" goes up very fast right after since maybe the lawyer could probably prove the CEO was intentionally holding back hyping up the stock until after his divorce.. wtf..
l m a o
>>
>>60921574
executive and fed dont deserve the blame. executive is blocked constantly by courts, fed has one lever that has two positions, and both are trying to do the job of congress without the same tools.

Congress is inept, not exec and fed.
>>
>>60921567
>Everyone's started a position in LULU right?
smart buy early 2020 when everyone was stuck at home. Now if AI is doing away with many jobs and DEI hires are needed who is going to buy overpriced ass pants? BLS stats revised down jobs numbers by 900k jobs so it looks like recession is underway. Will stacy buy cheaper Target brand ass pants instead of LULU brand?
>>
>>60921590
You lose unrealized gains if you sell the bottom which is what I literally did.
>>
and that is why the CEO suddenly had a shift into targeting $1 billion market cap (=$9) instead of just holding out for a buyout from a big company

becoz of this divorce mess and frankly i dont think it's a coincidence the stock started going up suddenly after the initial marital separation of assets, mr ai dashcams wants to pump it up to $4 and really $9 just to say a big fuck you to the ex wife. that s the real goal, i cant believe it

Need some advice. Are all of you trading RAW?

llc would only matter if you were actually a business. trading is considered a business with very strict requirements. you cant just say your business is day trading and start deducting expenses and withdrawing equity to avoid taxes.

there isnt any reason to do it, there is no tax incentive for you to benefit from and you have no liability. just file it on your income taxes as investment returns with the appropriate capital gains tax amount, which federally is just your income tax rate for short-term cap gains.

Why not use HOOD?
I have 190k in there right now, and I took 180k out of it for a house downpayment

It's extremely easy and simple to use. Credit card gives 3%. Extremely cheap annual subscription pays for itself with 3% roth ira match. Good 4% interest on free cash. Get to borrow 1000$ interest free, and just leave it invested.

Some people will scoff and say "those benefits aren't that big of a deal" but little bits of money add up over time and is way better than what other soulless brokerages offer

If you want to educate me on the order exectuion I'd legitimately be interested though. I've heard similar criticisms in the past, but the problem is I wouldn't know what brokerage has a better "order execution" or by what degree, so that's one thing I conveniently ignore

Robinhood Social - pretty much like Stocktwits. similar to this app called afterhours some guy from plebbit made. can show positions in real time and comment on trades, users will have instagram type profiles but for stocks instead. can also follow whales, hedge funds etc.
Custom AI scanner similar to tradingview type of shit, can type in custom indicators and AI will spit out the chart/trendlines
short selling stocks
overnight index options

HOOD going to 150 EOY imo...theyre running promos and more incentives for account transfers and continue to innovate. ran up quite a bit AH on all this news + addition to S&P coming soon so a bunch of ETFs will have to autobuy
>>
>>60921796
short selling is a liability headache and nearly obsolete in current year thanks to options. Only reason to have them are to complement options strategies like getting to delta neutral or the listed stock has no options and you want to short. puts really do outclass short sells.

I use Blueberry Markets (AUS) to trade forex and CFDs with Metatrader. Im in Canada. They let me use up to 500:1 leverage (lmao) on an account. I just use 100:1, really its just how much margin reqs you have to post, and leverage isnt a problem if you can manage risk

the $1.60 forced sale was press released by the company itself

the marital separation you'd have to look back into SEDAR filings, not directly announced in their press releases but filed nonetheless in SEDAR around May 2025
interesting case study, if you ever see another ceo having to do a divorce it could be a bullish sign if the stock had been mostly crabbing prior to it

Look at the weekly chart. Its been holding support and trend just turned bullish. You need to get back in and hold onto it for a month.

I'm gonna gamble $50 on my meme account. I'd buy some calls if they were cheao but I'd want like 80 dte and ITM which probably costs like $150 and is out of my budget for that trade
>>
>>60921820
Are you talking in terms of a hedge, or maintaing a target theta/delta neutral position to farm yield?
>>
>>60921794
i only had like 200 gme shares so it doesn't really matter
i cant risk having too much money in gme even if it was only going sideways at worst now (profitable net income coz of all the cash, which is the main reason why i even tried to hold it for awhile)
if GME hits $30-$40 short term it's still gonna be painful trying to figure out whether you can hold out for more or if you gotta bail out (but then you'll also rope yourself if it ends up going to $60 week after and so on)

easier to just ride stocks that are melting up (faster than SPY obviously) until end of 2026
NXGL was more on the speculative side, but CXDO, IDN, and even VTSI (im cutting VTSI soon tho, it was a lower conviction play like AMPL) are all melting up gradually and faster than SPY

put in at least 4 figs at the very least or it's not gonna be worth your time, you're just leaving yourself open to despair when it goes even 2x because you'll wish you put in more

im not holding GME anymore because I have plays with imo better risk-reward, remember that losing to opportunity cost is also a risk even if GME goes sideways (in a market that can potentially turn into a real bubble, and bubbles are very lucrative)
>>
>>60921820
you sure do throw around a lot of words you dont know. theta only applies to options not shares. You probably also dont know you cant borrow shares for free and you are also obligated to pay dividends you "get." So there is definitely a time cost.

Options are great. They have defined risk ahead of time and they let you go long or short on time, price, and volatility (demand/liquidity)
Deep ITM (say 60-70 delta) is basically a leveraged, capital efficient way to have exposure to price movement. You still have normal risk from that of course, but line goes up.
>>
>>60921846

>this sell target should only zap 2% of your account if its hit
2% then thats nothing both direction, the reason im cutting down VTSI is because i dont wanna deal with monitoring more 4 companies. It takes dozens of hours to do a proper deep dive into each company (like u cant just rely on what CEO says too, u need to actually verify with third part sources too etc), doing all that work just for a 2% position is not worth it

i dont wanna bother with these diversification shit, you NEED to do it to avoid financial ruin when you're 6-figs and higher, but my way of doing it im still just gonna stick to 3-4 companies max since i still got a wagie job *BUT* im just gonna put half my money into index ETF for the rest of the money after im done with ai dashcams. That way i can still do like up to max 10% positions for individual stock picks without having retarded risk management
>>
>>60921860
Theta only really accelerates like that below 30-45 dte. If I'm long a contract, I like to roll at 60-75.
Or are you talking more about ITM vs OTM values?
>>
>>60921865
>Deep ITM (say 60-70 delta) is basically a leveraged, capital efficient way to have exposure to price movement
this is correct, i like using deep ITM LEAPS (85-90 delta) for basically 2x leverage, if the underlying goes up 5% the LEAPS go up 10%, it's a nice way to hold for longer without buying the underlying, the theta decay is low until it gets to about 1 year out then starts accelerating, at that point you can sell the LEAPS or roll them, the only downside is you pay short term cap gains no matter how long you hold LEAPS, after a year you would save on the taxes buying the shares outright

I never said we would collapse this week.
If anything the only chance we have at some kind of pullback is when the rate cuts finally happen. That's how the 2007 meltdown started.
But this isn't 2007.
We have a madman president and an entire band of sycophants across the political and business elite who have shackled themselves to his horse.
Possibly the only thing that can kill this retarded ""golden bull"" is his death unironically but I don't see it happening nor do I want it to happen necessarily because of the gay VP.

I have no idea who or how someone would sue your day trading business for damages when you dont have customers, suppliers, or employees. Maybe creditors? LLCs only protect you from someone suing your business so you dont lose your house in a law suit. The biggest protection is a prenup or trust. putting it in a business entity seems like more risk imho.ChatGPT says it's defunct if you mix personal and business funds.

>It seems retarded to not protect your trading account once it reaches a certain size.

that wasnt a question and if it was, it's definitely rhetorical. an LLC is the most inefficent way to protect your trading account. Do you have the same scrutiny for other assets like your house or car? No? well those are fair game in a law suit as well. Buy better liability coverage if you are so worried about somone suing you.

I answered regarding the tax benefits of a business because I had that same question a few months ago and I googled it like a sane person and not a bunch of pedos on 4chan. But be honest with yourself, if this is your go-to place for this information you obviously dont have an amount worth protecting with a fucking LLC.

it checks out honestly. This is less crazy than AI mania. ORCL is more justified because they are an actual business v say some AI start up that gets a billion market cap on premonitions. Basically,

1. AI investments are trickling down into the real world, so
2. Oracle is seeing increased demand for it's data centers that AI need.
3. Oracle is building out for this demand
4. The earnings quality is absolutely spectacular. Extremely massive revenues this quarter plus strong projections.
5. This is confirming AI trends. These companies are really putting their money where there mouth is.
6. The market seems to agree with oracle's projections, which they are required to make and do so in good faith
7. Oracle, who is obviously in talks with most of the mag7, would definitely know if this were a passing fad or if these companies really do plan to continue this build-out. 4 years isnt even a long time financially. Im sure they are already in contracts with most because building data centers is not cheap or fast.

Unfortunately for you guys your timing was off with entry into MSTY and ULTY. But how could you have seen that coming?

I got into MSTY, NVDY and eventually ULTY in April and May respectively. NVDY went to shit first but finally found a floor around $16 though I sold off two distributions back for a 24% profit overall. I wanted MSTY to keep printing but frankly, MSTR will likely never be included in the S&P; the writing is on the wall. Plus MSTY is a second derivative product. I sold out of that one last distribution and made 4%, 16% and 27% over three accounts.

ULTY is doing fine but I check regularly in the event it begins to go belly up. My cost basis is extremely low anyways.

JEPQ doesn’t make my peepee hard enough but I did take profits from NVDY and MSTY and opened positions in ULTY, QQQI, SPYI and BTCI. Those are all doing A-ok and low stress.

Don't you get it? They're deliberately mishandling inflation to inflate dollar-denominated assets and prevent the stock market and real estate bubbles from popping. No real wealth is being created: it's a zero sum game where they inflate away the middle class's earnings and saving and use the money they stole ("""printed""") to inflate their own assets. Precious metals are an escape hatch because they're not denominated in terms of dollars. Let the kikes hyperinflate their scam financial system all they want while you escape to the safety of precious metals and precious metal accessories.

Niggers what my anus? I am in Switzerland. Stop shitting up the continent by dragging regular folks into your contrived wars that nobody wants. Last I checked Russia doesn’t want anything to do with anyone in Western Europe but the globalists in Germany and Brussels are currently testing public sentiment with a war with Russia. Those German and EU cunts WANT a war to hide their failures because normies are going to norm. Ukraine was always the catalyst to give both sides a reason to kick things off for various reasons that each side holds. It’s just (big surprise) the German government can’t stop shitting where it eats and due to their loathsome nature, will be the vessel (again) to drag the modern world into another shit show.

Mind you faggots, Switzerland has it’s own monetary problems. But provoking a war with a nuclear power because ‘whatever reasons’ is just fucking tragic.

lmao France has 375B of US bonds. At a comfy ~4%, it pays up 1/3rd of the debt interests. And that's just the US one. And it's increasing
The best part? France borrows for less right now and it then buys US bonds yielding more. it shows up in the table.
Literally free money glitch lmao, it won't go bankrupt anytime in your lifetime, nor in your next lifetime.

Death by 1000 cuts: the US wants to exploit the gigantic mineral and oil reserves in Russia and fuck the Chinese, plus control the new Arctic naval routes that leave China out of the picture.
You can't topple a nuclear power by war, but the US can fund every single lunatic, terrorist, dissident, opposition party, disgruntled general, radical Islamist, separatist, etc., with drug money until the country breaks internally, and Russia has lots of those.
My money is in Chechnya again, or Dagestan.
