If I was a hedgefund I would be panicking right now. 59M warrants are issued and yet our thesis is that there is several X the shares outstanding short those borrowed shares are synthetically owed a warrant. So if they are 3x named the SO there are 59M warrants and 236M obligations. As real warrants are exercised, say 20M of the 59M leaving 39M left there are still 216M obligations. This drives the inherent value higher and higher. Share prices of the warrants also can never exceed the price of GME otherwise that proves naked shorting. Their play might be to spike the price of the shares for you to sell the shares, before the warrants are issued to you where there is an infinite price on the warrant since they can never be fulfilled. In this instance Robinhood for example, lets say 10m GME are registered with them. In real ownership terms, they wpuld get 1m warrants with full capability to do whatever with, and manifest an IOU warrant to their clients with the illusion of control.
