>renters were just poors all along

In America...
In Switzerland we are all renters. I bet like 80-90%. Are we poor?
>>

they're not rich because they are homeowners
most homeowners are older people who have already accumulated wealth for decades
also even young people who own homes tend to have higher paying jobs(wealth) to be able to afford those homes

renting is still cheaper than buying per month

No but you are the Bergjuden xd

Holy shit homeowners have homes?????
>>
owning a paid off home allows you to SAVE money even on a age pension

my grandmother is 80 and has $120k in the bank and shes NEVER worked a job in her life, but she owns a paid off home (only my grandfather worked)

A 120k home allows you to save 5k a year. Thats pocket change.

It's completely retarded to look at the statistics for this because people don't broadly recommend renting over homeowners. It's recommended on case by case basis if it makes sense for you as an Individual. Your average renters are poorfags who are struggling to pay all their bills on time and barely save anything. You have many broke people bringing down the average. On the other hand every rich person owns a home or multiple homes which works in favor of the rich people column.

The single 30 year old male who earns 120k in a high cost of living area and invests 50% of his take home pay instead of paying 600k a house isn't going to be reflected in the broader statistics.

the "greater net worth" is just the plywood box equity, which is meaningless paper gains with an insane holding cost (taxes, insurance, maintenance.)
>>
My rent cost less than a mortgage + taxes would and I get all the benefits of renting and none of the hassles of owning and my money performs better in the stock market which is liquid and much easier to deal with than selling a fucking house
>>
>net worth
This meme needs to die.
>>
I'm richer than my landlords because I invest in bitcoin and not Boomer shitboxes.

What is a dumbass young person blowing 80k USD a year on?
When I traveled the world(minus afrika) for a whole year, I didn't spend more than 40k
>>
Poorness is a mindset. If you're an owner/investor type, it simply builds and compounds everywhere, this is just what you do. If you're a terminal rentbrain you spend and consume everything you earn. Literally just ant/grasshopper shit.
