Trump's extracting behavior will end up getting crypto banned worldwide. Not really bullish desu - he's done nothing for anyone.

Banks and governments can easily mandate it you fucking retard.
>>
>>60923476
lol yeah sure thing
laws are just a price tag you fucking faggot
>>
>>60923476
Yeah, just like China, one of the most totalitarian regimes on the planet, did, right?
Gov can get in line, or out of the way. They can't stop it
>>
>>60923463
You can't ban it, but if the US in particular brought in regulations which forced banks to block movements to and from exchanges, and banned the financial sector from speculating in it, then the price would collapse. That's not happening any time soon though, even the Dems know that crypto is key for sustaining the US bond market now.

So far, regulators have stood back and allowed things to cook. But what are the POSTIVE results for 2025 from crypto? NOTHING

They can stop the experiment at anytime they want. fines, jail, closed bank accounts, flagging as terrorism - there are many tools that can be used.

There's already been semi successful parallel economies in crypto, with drugs being the most pervasive one, and I'm pretty sure the state knows if they push too hard now, it'll just give power to sprout a real crypto gray market that only serves to kill their stranglehold on banking power. The only option they have is to adapt and pretend to still be the authority while that card is available. Tradfi as we know it is going to die, and they'll try to recreate fiat in cbdc, but I don't think it'll be as successful as they want it to to be.

most of trumps wealth is in crypto now. he will not ban it.
>>
>>60923567
I'm not talking about Trump. There are many countries who are not happy with Trump and can see the grift of what crypto is turning into.
>>
>>60923463
governments can’t stop it from functioning, but they can turn off the liquidity which will make your king shitcoin at $10 each. what’s so hard to under?
>>
>>60923583
no one cares about brics shitters or europe.
>>
>>60923629
Say goodbye to 1 trilly market cap then, which will trigger institutions to dump everything on your head while they're still in profit. Crypto was meant to be borderless money, not centralized around Trump.
>>
>>60923674
this "they might ban it!" fud was maybe relevant ten years ago. nothing ever happens
>>

The state has a pretty good idea of how to track that kind of darkweb stuff on the blockchain these days though, if anything it's easier for them than with traditional currency. Besides, good luck trying to get someone to pay you $100000+ for a bitcoin if it goes back to only being used for drug dealing and money laundering.
>>
>>60923674
If America is buying it, the rest of you faggots will too. You could make it still, but your low IQ and high hubris won’t allow you to. Many such cases. I bet you post on Reddit.
>>

I first bought ETH and BTC in late 2015. I was early, and now my divesting into AI is giving me far greater returns than anything involving blockchains. The writing in already on wall, but hey, at least I got rich.
>>
>>60923531
the numerical ratio of normal people to federal faggots is over 1000 to 1.

If they do anything they and their families will have their necks slit and hung by their guts.
>>
>>60923701
I'm kind of with you on this one, EU is kind of irrelevant in the great scheme of things. Finance sector, particularly in the US, is what will decide the future of crypto, and Bitcoin in particular. It won't happen under Trump, but if a populist Democrat wins in 2028 and decides to stop banks from investing in crypto then they will dump huge amounts in catastrophic fashion, and with nobody waiting to step in and buy the dip you could quite well see BTC fall back to being worth a few grand at best.
