>have 5 years of experience in my profession.>realize that my employer is retarded and makes mistakes all the time.>think about starting my own business because if they can get paid to make mistakes, why not me?>look at online discussion groups related to this.>NOOOO YOU ARE TOO INEXPERIENCED!!!>I WORKED FOR SOMEONE ELSE FOR 25 YEARS BEFORE GOING OUT ON MY OWN>EVEN NOW, 15 YEARS OF DOING MY OWN BUSINESS, I'M FINALLY JUST COMFORTABLE WITH IT!!!! >YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU DON'T KNOW!!!!everyone else is a mentally retarded fuck-up so i surely cannot be worse.
>>60924779Yes anon. Most people in business are retarded. Most industries have a tolerable allowance for retardation that allows them to stay in business regardless.I watched my old boss throw away $40,000 on mailers with an ROI of 0 because the format was shitty and they were, well, mailers. Dude still had a take home over $300,000 that year from just owner's draws. I'm going to buy a business here soon. Just got to convince them I'm a foreigner or something for that extra grant money
>>60924779No of course not but unless you're lucky you will wind up one of the many "bosses" who is a slave to their business and their employees. It's fundamentally a worse position to be in unless you fucking LOVE waging more than anything. Having to be there 7 days a week and be on 24/7 because your employees give zero fucks if your business fails or not is literally the worst wagie position of all, and this is what 99.9% of business owners wind up having to deal with.Nobody said you have to be smart to run a successful business. You need two things:1) The ability to wageslave 24/7 and be ok with that2) LuckOf course if we want to get philosophical, 1 is tied to 2 so really it's just 2, but I'll leave it at that. Some of the dumbest people have launched some of the biggest businesses.
>>60924921my 'profession' is accounting so luckily my billing rate is pretty high and i shouldnt have to wageslave myself to death outside of like feburary through april.
>>60924955customer facing "professions" esp accounting are AIDS mate
>>60924921>he runs a service based company instead of a product based one
>>609249211) is what has always turned me off owning my own business. I just, plain and simply, cannot be fucked.
