What about them?

why not measure ie 10 year bond price instead of inverted yield? does yield move faster than price?
>>
>>60927342
a considerable factor is Russia, one of the major gold producers. they are not selling their production on the open market.

said no independent investor ever.

Gold has been mooning because Basel III took effect, now is the dump though as the front running levels off
>>
>>60928673
Because yield is a universal across all bonds of all types in all contexts so that is always the default metric. Inverted or not is just to show correlations better.

If you have to compare US 10yr vs the 30yr, prices tell you very little but yield tells you everything important in a single number. It becomes even more important when comparing bonds from different issuers and in different currencies.
