Does this crap compromise the custody of my holdings in any way? What about when I send LINK to an exchange/another address? From what I understand, LINK is fungible so there's no way to isolate the dust from my own holdings. I'm guessing that since the dust interacted with the official LINK contract and increased my LINK balance, it's the official token?
look up crypto dusting attacks somebody wants to know what your wallet is doing, but it can also be a massively automated process for information scraping either innocuous or nefarious
>>60935684Yeah, I'm not too worried about that, I'm more worried about>get dusted>at a later date, send LINK to address/exchange>LINK never arrives at destination >some jeet in mumbai cackles gleefully>
>>60935714If you're worried just do it right now, send a bunch of it to an exchange and see if it works
>>60935674Also check the contract address of the token to see if its the actual link token or a fake one
>>60935714Do you not understand how blockchains work?Just send 1 linkie before you send ur main transaction as a safety always anyway
>>60935714>find a coin on the ground>put it in wallet>tomorrow all money and cards gone from wallet??
>>60935674Enjoy your wallet being blacklisted as it received dark link from a banned wallet.
>>60935733>Do you not understand how blockchains work? Not really, but I get the concept of malicious smart contracts.>>60935721>>60935726It's real LINK as the balance increased according to the official contract
