Is this a sound financial strategy? I worked in a grocery store and managed to save up around $100k USD, then I put half in the stock market and half in Bitcoin. I have literally only $2000 in savings now. I think it might all go to zero if some bad news comes out, but I can't keep it in a bank account because the interest is just shit

What you're doing is fine. Even 'catastrophic' failures are usually only around 50% drop.

The truth is, your money isn't safe in the bank either. Look at it this way, with real inflation higher than interest, if you keep money in the bank, you are 100% guaranteed to lose money. At least with stocks and crypto, you've got 50%+ chance of real gain.

If you want more security, you could move some to PMs, but what you have is fine.

Bitcoin will crash at some point and so will stocks but as long as you hold on to it and don't cash out you will be fine. Just don't panic when you see bitcoin shit itself down to 60-70k. ROI will take about 5 years from now
