im 30 yrs old and have been thinking about taking out all of my 401k and just doing whatever the fuck with it.

I think the economy will unironically completely collapse soon, and once it does I won't be able to cash out.
>>
>>60941523
Alright buddy here's "your" 401k!
>-15% income tax
>-8% early withdrawal tax
>-5% state/local fees
>>
>>60941557
Again, the economy is going to completely go belly up soon so who cares.
>>
>>60941523
>>60941574
All in on bullets, sustainable food production, and home manufacturing if you are sold on this concept. Teach yourself CAD and design theory to produce anything you or anyone else needs in the event of collapse. Also go get super fit (should be a goal regardless)
>>
>>60941580
Bullets maybe, since I like shooting but the rest of that shit is prepper stuff thats a waste of money.

If shit gets that bad, then ill take my guns and ammo and steal what I need from other people
>>
>>60941582
The food production might be a bit prepperish, the other skills are not. You'd probably take pride in being able to produce to meet your needs. Absolutely never hurts to have this skill.

Sooooooooon two more weeks brau two moar
>>
>>60941598
but for real this time.

I give it until 2030, honestly before we start seeing the dollar become the new peso
>>
>>60941523
lmao, thanks for volunteering to be my grocery bagger in your 60's. someone's gotta do it.
>>
>>60941635
you've been on planet earth for 30 years and still dont know that nothing ever happens. well, whats 5 more years to prove you wrong amirite.
>>
>>60941637
Brother, ill still be working either way in old age but definitely won't be bagging groceries. Probably will be done by a robot, any way.
>>
>>60941655
grim

A sexy robot you can take into the bathroom and bang
>>
>>60941647
Only based pattern recognizers such as myself can see that it will be different this time
>>
Relax. They're just devaluing USD. Not the end of the world. Plenty of options.
>>
>>60941772
Which is why im pulling out my 401k now before its too late and they freeze everyone's accounts.

You mofos have so much farmland in the US, why do you even care about a major industrial crash ?(even if it won't happen, they will rather ignite civil war for you, no other way to decimate you). Rural (central northern) US is one of the best places to be when shit hits the fan.
>>

>economy will unironically completely collapse soon
So will the environment. The amount of global millionaires and middle class is already unsustainable for the fragile system that we use for resources. Nothing is really reported as the enormous amount of forests, animals, fish stocks and insects are disappearing at alarming rates. We are already over the cliffs edge and our focus is on war or some other garbage as we collectively decline.
>>
>>60942210
They said this shit im the 70s retard. Repeat after me sweaty, Nothing. Ever. Happens.
>>
>>60942215
That was before China was fully developed and India is next. The pollution from these countries alone will be more in 1 year than the entire 70s decade combined.
>>
>>60942224
My nigga its 2025, if it was that serious we would be in complete chaos at the very least and at extinction at worst. Guess what, you go outside and its the same as its been for thousands of years. But two moooaaarr years bro!
>>
>>60942249
The discovery of PFAS chemicals in literally every environment should be enough evidence of what's occurring. The reason there's no alarm or chaos is it's bad for business. There's zero financial incentive to make you a "conscience consumer", your mind needs to be focused on that lambo and dream home instead. I'm also not saying anything will happen in 2 years - just a steady decline.
>>
>>60942263
>i read a fucking study from zoidberg shekel meckel

GO OUTSIDE, NOTHINGS HAPPENING

ITS 2025, THE DEEP FUTURE no ones dead. Everyones fine. End of discussion
>>
>>60942263
Like holy crap star trek was probably based in the year 2025. Its impossible for us to die, metaphysically. Countless nuclear dissasters stopped at the last second, heh you think its le hecking coinsicence. Its impossible for something devasting to occur.
>>
Do it faggot, pull out all your cash and move to Thailand to fuck lady boys, then you'll be truly happy
>>
>>60941580
>>60941589
you're wasting your time. OP is a hedonist who is looking for any excuse to emulate being rich, even if it leaves him destitute in the future. many such cases.

Buddy if your 401k is gonna go tits up and never recover then you've got bigger problems in the world and nothing you do will matter. It also means that if you don't have a bunch of other investments to blow them you're shit with money.

Leave your 401k as a hedge for "everything will be fine and I don't wanna be old and broke when I can just be old" or something
>>
>>60942201
You watch too many zombie movies. A real SHTF is like Hurricane Katrina or for your perspective the Bosnia vs Serbia war
>>
>>60943164
Everything is not going to be fine though and I just want my money before these goblins freeze the accounts and go "sorry no refunds".
>>
I have been wondering, since retirement accounts are all a ponzi scheme, when there is not enough people paying into the ponzi and the average age of the human population gets older and older

If the government pensions wont be around for this, then why would the private investment funds survive it? There will be way less people working and automatically contributing to the pool when we're all in our 60s and older which is 20-30 years from now.

When I was young and working one of my first jobs my schizo boomer boss pulled me aside and asked me why the fuck I was putting money into my 401k when we had hit peak oil and the water wars were going to cause an American civil war and destabilize the planet as people started eating each other for the last few sources of drinkable water. He later got drunk and drove a forklift through the warehouse garage door because it wasn't pulled up all the way. He ended up passing away from a brain tumor, so needless to say, if you actually believe your schizo ramblings please get your head checked before pulling money out of your retirement account.
