I'm priced out. What's the fucking point of living and believing in this country and system when you can't take even a minor step up.

>just move to bumfuck Mississippi bro
>just yolo your life savings into 0DTEs it just takes twice

I'm beginning to think I'm priced out of life. I don't see a point in continuing to try.

>tamper your expectations bro
>ignore the fud bro
>>
unless you make a top 10% income you are literally priced out of life

don't be a faggot doomer, do something, take action, move, adjust, get your head right.

Do the powers that be understand that the consequence of this is their populace buying out of the concept of their society? Do they understand the consequences and if they do, why are they doing it?

You sound like a bitch

>believing in this country
the people keep getting propagandized and vote against their own interests every. single. time.
the rich get richer and centralize more and more wealth and power while the poor are on track to become permanent slaves, important assets like real estate will only reflect this going forward, it will only get harder to buy anything important because the wealth will only become more centralized in the hands of a few
nobody will really care until it's too late, but by then we'll all be goycattle in palantir-surveilled human zoo cities where this sentiment will get you locked up for thought crime
you are right, you have to be clinically retarded to believe in america
>>
>>60957346
the powers that be realized they can simply redirect the class war to le culture war, blame all problems on everyone except themselves, and it's like endless crack to mutts, there's no saving these "people"

have you tried simply owning 20 million dollars? if you put 20 million dollars into a 4% savings account, you will be getting 2.2 thousand dollars every day for doing nothing! mortgage payment on a mansion is what, 8 thousand dollars? you'll pay it off in 4 days

>make $80k a year in major city
>save half my income for retirement accounts
>once I get a promotion that money will go toward a home down payment
>will be able to get a home by 35 even if I were single, which I’m not
skill issue. I’m not saying it isn’t bad out there sometimes, but people really do bitch and whine a lot. Show me someone who is living “paycheck to paycheck” and I’ll show you someone who is great at spending and sucks at saving.

Wow. Really profound stuff there anon.

You don't own your house in America either.

>>60959189
I own 17 million dollars, live an upper middle class lifestyle (nice but not ritzy) and still feel precarious like I am living above my means and am one misfortune away from being on the streets. I think real life starts at 50M, only then can you really have enough safety buffers and diversification and multiple citizenships and residences and access to top tier medicine to truly be insulated from 99.9% of bad outcomes. Until then, no matter how well off you are you're still just a schmuck looking over his shoulder all the time who can get oneshot by life, any time, any place, for any reason or no reason at all. And you can't enjoy your wealth when you're feeling that way, which makes your experience of life no better than those who have no wealth at all.
>>
>>60959245
You could put your money into bonds and live on $350k annually and the amount would still only grow over time. You’re either trying to yank some chains or you’re a big retard.
>>
>>60959245
How long have you been over 17 million? I have been in the multi millions for over 20 years.
>>
>>60959214
that's just it though, isn't it? you can't just "buy real estate" anymore and enjoy the fruits of that investment
you can buy crypto sure, but guess what? the rich, the few, the powers that be are SO powerful now they can manipulate the markets so that (You) make the least profit possible while they extract every penny like they're doing right now, 70%-90% of retail lose money trading remember that
in the meantime, are you making enough to live off of as the average goycattle? no, if you're retail you're renting or at best living at home
it sounds so cliche now "the rich get richer" and that's how they want it in your mind, everyone knows how boomers had it back in their day compared to now, well that shift is not only still happening, it's ACCELERATING, practically nobody born today will get to own a home unless they inherit it
>>
>>60959245
At 50kk you will realize that you actually need 100kk and the thing goes on ad infinitum.

You know its fucked when all the news networks are saying rate cuts will benefit the rich.

My expectations are simple: to live comfortably, to have a home, and for food not to be a problem
And I can't even do that, even if I bet on npc or have two fucking jobs, I still can't achieve stability
At this point I just want Fallout to be real thing asap
>>
>>60956922
I make like top 3% in Canada and I'm borderline priced out.
>>
There is a degree where you gotta learn to budget and cut back on some stuff but overall yes quality of life is pricing people out. The ruling class keeps the working class divided by culture war. The state implements their policies and defends their interests. Both infringe upon your freedom as an individual. The future is anarchocommunism. Read Peter Kropotkin.
>>
>>60956906
The largest age cohort in western history is dying within the next 2 decades. Calm your tits retard. Housing will be cheap again. Just rent for a decade then get a cheap house.

Republican policies are generally bad for the bottom 50-60% of the US population. The increasingly blue collar base of the Republican party also thinks they're screwing the hoity-toity laptop class. They're largely stepping on rakes and hitting themselves in the face.

What’s with all of the leftist retards here? You all made housing, healthcare, childcare and education more expensive through government and your solution is more government. Then on top of that, you all worship trannies, open borders and niggers.

But yeah, that one dude more successful than me? He’s certainly the one causing my misery, and I’m just not as smart as you so I don’t realize it. Sure, he’s putting his money into stocks, but that’s evil.

>Housing
Largely a byproduct of those R+40 municipalities being rural shitholes with mostly menial work, so your options are to cram into the same dozen cities with jobs and other young people. Immigration certainly contributes to this, but the Republican priority is to deport criminal aliens (based) - not do anything about

>childcare
Blame muh invisible hand. People realized they could squeeze working moms a lot harder because of how much they'd lose by not girlbossing for 3-10 years.

>education
This is mostly third-tier toilet private schools and masters programs preying on 1st gen students that don't know better. This could not be fixed without additional regulation on who colleges are allowed to admit.

>trannies
A bunch of hicks dying their hair green and chopping their dicks off isn't worth crashing the economy over.

>Sure, he’s putting his money into stocks, but that’s evil.
Of all the words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: "Dubya was right again" (about forcing people to invest in private retirement accounts like Australia does).

Housinf could be cheap in cities but zoning and regulations prevent it. Same thing with childcare, you don’t need a bachelors or masters degree to look after a kid.

Education is just about schools getting Department of Education money and hiring useless deans and DEI retards. No reason why schools need 12x more deans and useless eaters than professors. All you need are professors and some janitors.

And no, I’m tired of watching a TV show and there are two trannies and several niggers. I shouldn’t have to watch stuff from before 1999 to not receive moralistic platitudes and excessive diversity.

I still don’t know why I should blame someone more successful and affluent for my problems. They’re not an infinite money sink. We could confiscate the income of everyone earning over $500k annually and it still wouldn’t close our $2 trillion deficit.
>>
>>60962553
>zoning
I agree, but this is more of an argument for living in Atlanta or Austin than it is for living in Bumfuck, AR.

>Education is just about schools getting Department of Education money and hiring useless deans and DEI retards. No reason why schools need 12x more deans and useless eaters than professors. All you need are professors and some janitors.
Not fixed without regulating admissions and student loans.

>And no, I’m tired of watching a TV show and there are two trannies and several niggers. I shouldn’t have to watch stuff from before 1999 to not receive moralistic platitudes and excessive diversity.
Boo hoo, nigga

>We could confiscate the income of everyone earning over $500k annually and it still wouldn’t close our $2 trillion deficit.
And the only time the deficits has gotten trimmed is when a Democrat is in the WH, albeit with a Republican congress turning heel and pretending to care about it - something the GOP has never done this century when in power.

I don’t care about Arkansas or Missouri. All of the decent jobs are in cities and they refuse to fucking build. We just built “affordable housing” for the poors here who cannot afford rent and the units cost $1.2m each. It’s ridiculous.

I’m not going to pretend the GOP are penny-pinchers. They’ll make speeches on the House and Senate floors about reining in spending, then cut taxes and raise military spending. But then the Dems are in charge and we spend $1 trillion on green energy subsidies for their donors. So pick your poison. But really what I’m trying to say is that we can’t solve all of our issues by taxing the rich. We also need to cut spending. But beyond the military, all spending is mandatory. It can’t be cut through the normal process. So the deficit is going to rise, the interest payments are going to eclipse $1 trillion a year, the debt will be $50 trillion in ten years, and soon we won’t have people interested in buying treasuries because they realize we have no intention of being serious.

At least we have a front row seat to the downfall.
