So I have about 600k in my ROTH sitting in BTC etfs. Sounds like Grayscale is looking to transform their LINK trust into a LINK etf. Should I buy the trust right now? Seems to be slipping downward over the last couple months. Not sure if this thing will correct upward like Grayscale BTC did a couple years ago after the Grayscale BTC was approved. But can it at least 2x with the approval plus general Link price action in the coming months?Serious replies only. 2006 Gateway Computer fag need not apply.
>>60958114Every grayscale trust absolutely dumps holdings on conversion
>>60958138The ETH etf was a dumpster fire. Gonna happen again then?
>>60958114wait, its not like link will have an explosion to $100 or something any time soon and it looks like etfs will get fast tracked this year I would wait for a proper etf
>>60958155Checked. My gut was pushing me to get in now but sometimes its hard to disentangle gut feelings from fomo. Truth that LINK will never explode to 100 though...
>>60958142The BTC one plummeted as well. The trusts have a lot of trapped boomers waiting to get out.As for a link etf in its favor you have the fact that the trust holdings are miniscule but the etf demand is likely to be absent as well.
great idea if you love losing money
remember when the boyscouts thought this ticker had an impact on the funding coin and a repricing was imminent?
>>60958114Link/Glnk fluctuates between 1:1 and 10:1. Its currently almost 2:1. You might lose ~50% or gain ~500% against physical Chainlink if the ratio carries on as usual
>>60958297I was here for that. Didn't fall for it then>>60958318Interesting bet. Still waffling
>>60958297Most link holders (tbqh myself included) are fucking idiots
>>60958353CAN CONFIRMCERTIFIABLE RETARD HERE
>>60958318I'm hodling my glinks to the cycle top because I'm lazy, but the ETF timing might actually fuck me. The cycle was supposed to be about done by now, I thought back in 2022/23, but apparently not so I'm holding these bags longer than anticipated.
>>60958400you're down 65% on the year holding it
>>60958138the boomers who buy so they don't have to manage custody of crypto don't care
