So about that Septembear dip....
>>
So am I retarded or is this a no brainer?

Background: stock ticker is TRON, a reverse merger shit coin pump but owned by the guy who runs TRX, a chinese shit coin that hasn't really ran like binance has. They bought some random company and rebranded it to TRON and bought/gave them 200 million TRX. Stock went from 50 cents to 12 dollars, now sits at 2.88.
But besides all that, don't really care about the actual company.

What I am interested in is the option chain, which exists and is honestly very very interesting to me because there are options out 2-3 years.

Looking at the January 2028 expiry puts specifically. My broker is allowing me to sell naked puts on this thing

The 2.5 put has bids at 1.5. this means I can go sell options to MM with the very high likelihood they expire worthless, or at worst get called and I now own the stock at 2.5, which isn't a terrible deal considering the market cap is ~700m at that level and Justin sun can just decide to pump the shit out of the stock if he uses his many many billions of TRX funds.

Is this a no brainer or am I retarded and not understanding the risk here?

The vast majority of US dollars are held as FX reserves in foreign countries. All of those foreign USD holdings could suddenly flood back into the United States if the dollar becomes a depreciating asset, triggering hyperinflation practically overnight.

Current Labour isn't at all. It is from the Blairite tradition of Labour and the Corbynite commies have been ousted from the party.
>>
>>60958993
Parties that were historically aligned with the working class have been moving further and further away from that demographic as they realized they can replace the working class with immigrants who will continue to vote for them as long as they keep the social spending going.
>>
>>60959012
That's definitely sustainable.

Everything global has to go through the federal government or some company which is already interacting with the federal government to a high degree, which the upper middle class is well situated to benefit first from and often exclusively. Of course they set themselves up nicely. You don't see some foreigner commodity exporter setting up a stall at the local market to sell their barrels of whatever to the locals or setting up a trade directly with customers.

>>
>>60959078

Yes. Except the dump is a bonus pump.

You smiggers haven't quite grasped the reality of the situation. We are going to be seeing new highs every single month.

Price of everything going up. Your rent. Food. Soda pop. Gold. Phones. Electricity. Cars. Fuel. Everything going up. Dollar going down.

Every single penny you don't need for living, invest that shit or lose it in less than 48 months. Its going to get crazier and crazier, we are on a rollercoaster that has literally only just began to take off.

Strap in. SPY will hit 1,000 by the end of next year.

There will be loads of 'Its over 9,000' memes in regards to S&P and then it will dump like nothing we have ever seen.

But ignore all the noise until then. We have at least a year.

The problem is that what we perceive as justice is nowhere near as quick and efficient as crime. Before the Internet, getting insider trading info was difficult, required word of mouth, etc. Now an employee can hop on WhatsApp or Signal and shoot it over to their contacts without issue, and any prosecution for it would take years. Our justice system has become a joke.

FTC is officially suing Ticketmaster

>The Federal Trade Commission and seven states sued Live Nation (LYV) and Ticketmaster for tacitly coordinating with brokers and allowing them to harvest millions of dollars worth of tickets in the primary market. Live Nation and Ticketmaster then sell the illegally harvested tickets at a substantial markup in the secondary market, causing consumers to pay significantly more than the face value of the ticket.

Less likely than complete thermonuclear annihilation. Nothing ever happens, which means things quietly get worse year by year but there's no huge catalyst or death spiral, you're just ever so slightly poorer in real terms.
A few companies might collapse and the markets could turn bearish for 2-3 years after the AI bubble implodes but it will almost certainly not lead to a complete global financial reset, just a recession.

People have been saying this since 2020. In a few years they will probably be right. But there are many more gains to come in that time.

More money has been lost in preparation of crashes than within the crashes themselves

I am very smart and you are a meek fool :)

>>
>>60959417
Probably because if you trade on September 1st, the activity would be on your monthly statement. So after the month is over you have like 2 weeks to report it. Trading any other day gets you additional time to file from trade date. Congress I'm sure now just does some data upload. They aren't going to list all their trades manually.

US just got domestic production capacity reducing reliance on Taiwan ironically and in a few years potentially causing issues for TSM but that is very far from now.

fewer buyers means price has to decrease to get the bonds sold. Bond price and interest rate are inverse. A $100 bond (face value) that sells for $98 is 2% interest rate. No one wants your bond at $98 so you have to lower the price to say $96 which is a 4% interest rate. The government needs the money, so they need to sell bonds to borrow the money. If the interest rate is getting too high then the big banks are instructed to buy the bonds to keep the price from going to low. They then sell the bonds to the fed which cant print infinite money, so it cost the banks nothing, and in reality they sell the bonds to the fed at higher rates to make a profit. It is just a big game maed to look complex/official to keep the game going.

>which stocks to buy?
Understand the business, the sector, follow the company, especially the CEO. A new CEO can destroy the company, especially a DEI hire. You can play it safe by buying ETFs until you want to buy a single stock to also invest in, but single stocks can tank for no reason and stay down for long periods before returning to normal. If find a "hot" stock just put a little money on it and learn from the experience. You don't make money if you never sell it and it tanks, so learn to capture profits.

If US equities get smashed, international equities will experience armageddon. International political structures are either way too socially oriented to bring serious returns (Europe+Japan), can't innovate (global south), or can't break the authoritarian impulse to fuck with the market (China). For equities, there's only the US right now.
