Go pan for crack rocks in gutters, idiot.

I've done it before, made about a dollar worth of gold in two hours.

I panned all summer. But now it's about to snow
the panning ends when it snows. The creeks freeze over and then get buried under 10 feet or more of ice. The ground freezes and you'd need to light fires to get to the gold

How much gold did you find during your summer of panning? Where did you pan? I just bought some metal detectors, just for the fun of it really. I spent about $1260 on a Minelab Elite with two coils, and a gold bug 2, also with two coils. I'll probably take them to the beach, and see if I can find enough jewelry to make them pay for themselves.

There's only one place in Maryland where you could find more than a couple of grains of gold and it's illegal to pan there
>>
I asked this last year and never got an answer. After all those floods in NC do you think the rivers were gold has been found in the past was recharged

If we're all panning for gold, then nobody's panning for gold.

I've been gold panning in NC for the last few years. Flood helped a little, but it still sucks. Best day I ever had was half a gram. The old timers did a very good job getting all the easy placer gold. There's much more gold out west in the desert...but even there it's typically not profitable to pan public lands. Youtubers post videos of good days...but have many more bad days that they don't show. That's why they try to make money from the youtube vids. Don't expect to find much east of the Mississippi river.
