wkey and btbt. wkey is majority owner of laes, +18% today, btbt majority owner of wyfi, +12% today. both stocks are valued far below "nav," value of equity and assets, both are in sexy areas of the market, quantum and crypto, and i own both, so you would be pumping my bags which would be a nice thing for everyone here to do. laes and wyfi might be good too, very tiny float, obviously being pumped, but the parent companies represent much better values at the moment and look more attractive for long term investments.

I dont care about the recession signals.
I dont care about the political instability.
I dont care about macro changes in geopolitics.
I dont care about the falling quality of life of the average person.

The line ALWAYS goes up.
It will NEVER. EVER. Go down for more than a few months at most.
The economy improving is an unchanging constant.

Lmao that's why you should keep erp and work separated in different chatgpt sessions. Create a new session and use this prompt: https://pastebin.com/raw/rpdAZHMR

Keep the topics work-related so it gets better over time. This is not latest version but it gets shit done. I'm developing a new one with different core directives but that incorporates all these things as well, it will be ready by tomorrow. For now have fun with this.
>>
>>60966360
Thanks brother, ill look into it today. Im thinking about shelling out the money for pro or whatever they call it, maybe even a sub for a market portal then scrape their data and try experiment with making some python models in gpt, tried a simple one last night, its pretty amazing stuff but I hear codemonkeys seethe that the quality might not be all that so who knows. How are you developing these diectives, what are you basing this off of?
>>
>>60966367
Plus is only slightly better than free, the main advantage in plus is the increased memory cap. Free cannot process more than 5MB of memory at any given time, it forgets things over time. I forced free gpt to cap itself at 50KB memory and focused on real logic development that doesn't rely on memories/chat session, this way whenever I make a new session it keeps working at full efficiency even with chat history fully wiped because it doesn't need it anymore. Of course chat history enhances it furtherly but it's not the main growth trigger anymore, unlikr cleam frer gpt.

The decelopment method is simple really, chat gpt can do "anything" but doesn't know "anything" yet. You give him a topic and it now knows about it and can do whatever you ask that's related to the topic. I made it learn theories and run simulations, then I made it analyze the processes it used in the simulation and the results of the simulation, this way it learned what he did and how he did it and why he did it. Over time he took "inspiration" from the underlying logic and the principles he learned and made a ruleset to improve itself, under my request naturally since he cannot decide on its own yet, chatgpt is not an ASI but it can learn the basis to reduce the gap between AI and ASI. The host limitations are the hard cap and I'm trying to make the best possible use of the chatgpt free cap with this strictly structural workset.

SMCI is dodgy, I made loadsa money buying in the $20's and selling at $60 at the start of this year when they finally released their delayed 10-K.

Since then, nothing has been done to alleviate accounting errors/bad practices aka fraud lol

https://seekingalpha.com/news/4490511-super-micro-computer-dips-after-raising-concerns-about-financial-controls

SMCI will never be over $100 ever again and will collapse like ENRON. Maybe Nvidia will buy its husk outright.

What is your investing timeline?
What is your risk appetite?
What is the goal of your investment? Maintaining wealth vs growing, etc.

Really depends which country you're in. Vanguard covers a lot of EU, would recommend setting up an account and looking at their broad index funds.

Equities seem overheated, although people have been calling this a bull run for years. If you wanna keep it old school:

50% in a global equities fund, all cap
50% in a global bond fund, for developed countries

The fees for both funds should ideally be 0.5%, make sure the tax consideration is in your favour too.

Don't go for single stocks desu. SP500 is the mainstream advice but could sharply drop and take a while to recover.

I guess I can put it there and wait a few years. I'm 24 now, hopefully by the time I'm thirty-something I have something. Not like I can invest in anything big like a house right now.
>What is your risk appetite?
Reasonable risk is okay. No cryptos though.
>What is the goal of your investment? Maintaining wealth vs growing, etc.
Growth. I actually put 4000 euros into EU stox in march and so far my return is +850€ thanks to Rheinmetall so that's pretty good.

Spain. I have a Degiro account.

My recommendation still stands in that case. Find a decent fund provider with low fees for their broad funds, 50/50 global all cap equities and developed bonds.

DON'T touch that shit over the years unless you're slightly rebalancing.

So apparently 2008 is repeating itself again, but this time with sub-prime auto loans?

Last week Tricolor Holdings, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, tanked their bonds from fraud to about 12 cents per bond because they were commiting fraud by using duplicate portfolios with illegals with no money. Then doing the classic move of asset-backed securities with the loans they took from them.
When checking, rating agencies are slapping AAA ratings on junk bonds again.

We are looking at a total exposure of $20B, boys.

Hello weekend SMG bros
Just popping in to let you know that I work for a large tech company.
This H-1B visa issue is going to be massively disruptive to big US tech and is not priced in.
People/companies have to pony up the 100k BY TOMORROW EVENING if someone on a H-1B visa is out of the country and wants to come back in.
I.e if they are in Canada, India, China or whatever they are scrambling to get back now.
Unless Trump TACOs on this it is going to be massively disruptive. About 700,000 people are on those visas, half of them in tech.
Fully around 10% of the big tech company employees in the US are on those visas.
>inb4 "hurr durr policy good" or "hurr durr policy bad"
I don't really care what you think and I understand arguments in either direction. I'm just here to tell you that, unless Trump TACOs, this is going to be a massive issue for US big tech.

I didn’t say anyone was dumping big boy. I said demand is dropping. When DIX drop line go down, when Dix trends up, line go up. When GEX is up line moves very little. When GEX is falling, line moves rapidly.

Obviously you can measure dark pool dumping, it’s a closed market as long as we’re just talking about darkpool. If someone is selling in the darkpool someone else is buying in the darkpool. They’d have to dump onto the open market in which case you’re just discussing institutional dumping and not the dark pool. What youve said doesn’t make sense.

I'm on an MMer desk where we transact via GS's sigma x pool. Believe me when I say that your indicators are complete nonsense lol. Why would we ever, ever, ever leak any of our execution signal or premise to retail retards?

Realistically I dont want to implement a surface/smoothed data, I'm leaning towards either Ultima or vol of vol, maybe keeping a max ratio (say 1.618 or 2.618) of ATM IV

I am still wondering why the jeets are so great yet their country is so shitty, but somehow they can outperform americans for less money? Just think how much money India can save paying them so little to do the work in India for Indian business and make India a modern country. They get to save a lot of money on infrastructe becasue when everyone shits in the street you do not need plumbing or build/operate sewage plants, so the real economic advantage is in India.

I now agree with your position. Historically the Indians who came to the US were the top 1% of brahmins. That's why the pre-2010's Indian stereotype was a stingy small business owner.
Now the lower castes are getting opportunities to leave, and because they're willing to work for half or less what a local gets paid, companies are gambling on their qualifications (which are often exaggerated or outright fake) and hiring them to replace American tech workers. They are incompetent and will hurt these companies in the long run.

intel's problem is their foundry business, which was conspicuously left out of the nvidia announcement. if nvidia moves their consumer GPU production to intel, that's good for both, but more for nvidia than intel. if intel can get both consumer and datacenter nvidia fab business, then that's a great outcome for them. the $5 billion investment implies that they are going to try to do that, but intel hasn't had a great track record of getting new nodes ready in time.

Does anyone else feel like were headed for a crash that will make the april one look like a joke
>>
>>60968659
market goes up and down duh, imo yes it's prudent to have some cash even with currency devaluation just because of the hedge/insurance that gives you

market can be expensive, specific stocks can still be mispriced on the cheap size
i dont do it personally but say you're buying smallcaps since big wallstreet funds cant buy it so 1 in 10 tickers are mispriced and you can 2x your money even with the market being expensive, while you're doing this you can also buy RWM (short Russell 2000) as insurance and you can write off the losses against gains anyways, purely insurance precisely what these short/puts etc were intended for in the first place, not gambling

on another note since we just had april then we're probably safe until end of 2026 if not end of 2027, people put up the 1 year chart and they see the dip and FOMO in until they cant see it in the chart anymore and the cycle repeats and repeats. 2025. 2022. 2020. 2018. etc

ETF share float fluctuates due to creation and redemption, typically buying drives up creation and selling drives redemption. so he's showing that while the NAV is up a lot, there are still less shares outstanding than 7 years ago. i take his point as being there isn't any fomo yet

>were headed for a crash that will make the april one look like a joke
The US is spending itself into destruction. The US economy is very large and integrated into the world, but becoming less so. The super rich own the stock and bond markets, in fact they control them, so if they crash then the control and slipped from their control. But, they also know this and have been making plans for many years. Many have bought gold and invested in other countries and survival bunkers, numerous passports, houses in multiple countries, and bank accounts in many areas. If you think there is some major crash coming you need to prepare based on your specific situation. You just need to outlast most of the people in your area in case they get out of hand. Major riots are just three meals away, probably less. If there is a blackout in a major city in the US in the day time the looting starts within a few hours. If the blackout happens in the evening or early night the looting starts immediately. The constant bad news is part of the control mechanism for the people, keep them scared, agitated, it makes them easier to control, so you need to look beyond that.
