Lolberts, explain yourself.
>>
>>60989103
Won't work and they'll still vote in Peronist retards who will inflate the currency until it the entire country implodes.

People just want their gibs.
>>
>>60989103
What's the reason for the situation Argentina is in right now?
>>
>>60989103
I always said it, the surge of argentinian was because their jewish president made politics the usa liked so the usa finance system saved argentine financially. And before hedge fonds destroyed it.
>>
>>60989174
tl;dr: argentinians fell for it again and still won't learn from their own history.

Milei sister gets 3% of some corrupt pharma reseller that sells to some govt agency, and his fucking lawyer had a conversation leaked about all the corruption and how he didn't get any of that money, where he claimed there were US $millions being paid monthly to multiple parties.

also, Milei convinced everyone that inflation = bad and therefore austerity good. well, inflation "fell" (if you believe their numbers) but subsidies were killed and purchasing power dropped to levels not seen since 2001... when the last biggest social/economic crisis happened.

lastly, Milei didn't do most of the shit he promised. in fact, he keeps contradicting his past self. like, his minister of finances is the same guy he criticized multiple times in the past for selling argentina to the IMF kek. he's a jewish scammer like >>60989189 said and argentinians fell for yet another thief "president" that doesn't even do anything himself lmao.
>>
>>60989174
Argentina lolbert here, Milei started to rig forex prices in 2023 when he got up and basically fixed the exchange rate instead of floating "as a way to fight inflation".

As a result inflation on paper statistics looks down, when meassured in pesos due to the peso being fixed but when you check it in usd the price of everything has done a 4.5x in just 600 days while wages have done a 2.3x

The economy can't work this way the price of everything goes up in usd every month while income and company gains goes down as less markets remain due to people not having money to spend due to the massive inflation meassured in usd.

The bessent help has convinced me to vote for the peronists for the first time in my life, there is no other option, first worlders don't understand how a bimonetary economy works they think inflation in pesos going down = le good.

But costs in usd go up massively and exporters export less and less, people spend less and less, and in real terms tax gains are smaller too as a result we are unironically going to starve if we continue with this autist milei who only economic variable that seems to matter for him is the ars usd rate and rigging it by price fixing.

The lunatic keeps taking debt to dump usd in the market and force people to use pesos, but the entire economy saved in dollars for decades not even richfags want to spend to build real estate at 5x cost than those of 600 days before.

Not sure what the fuck Trump and Bessent were thinking but they just gifted the peronists the elections because they don't let us any other chance is that or starving, meanwhile single mom gibs and gibs in general are the only thing that went up in usd everything elsein the private sectoris rekt.

It makes my blood boil that the most libertarian gov in history will go down due to communist tier monetary policies.
>>
>>60989659
that piece of shit turned argentina into one of the most expensive countries in the world, it's fucking stupid
>>
>>60989683
Probably the most expensive in the world when you compare salaries vs food/rents, and all due to Milei autism.

They seem to be proud that things cost more in usd it's fucking insane, imagine roosvelt before ww2 being proud of costs going up, i never seen such a retarded political movement and i lived tough late stage kirchnerisms but this is way way way worse.

The only people that i know that are happy now 1_Live from the state 2_Work in something that get's transactional fees and those fees are higher in usd but do not care about the costs since they only take a fee (like sellers of things like cars), 3_Work on a peronist era legal contract that has tons of gibs and had 3x increase in dollar value, they still lost against dollar inflation but since they also get gibs like paid vacations they don't care because the rest of people starving basically suck dick to eat, you can take a uber 15km for like 5 usd now it's probably one of the things that deflated the most wich shows how fucked up labor market is.

Dumb imbecile had to do libertarianism and is doing soviet tier monetary policies with deregulations.

The deregulations are fine but what they think will happen if they deregulate the labor market after they destroyed the macroeconomy with massive dollar inflation?

They are going to fire half the country they should have done the opposite first fix the macro then the laws.

Worse Peronists were actually starting to like the usa since they see china as a threat due to their industrial dumping, this clandestine help via swaps have now turned most peronists against the usa and they will win in next month elections probably by 15% percent points.
>>
>>60989591
if they are the fools what does that make the US? china just agreed to buy metric fuck-tonns of ag from them, at a PREMIUM. why do they need US money again?
>>
Argie bros, I'm visiting Buenos Aires in early november, 1 week after the midterm election. Are things so bad that you expect social unrest in the aftermath of the election?
>>

there is no bigger burden and death knell to a country than to pretend the jewish god is real
>>
>>60990126

the single strongest indicator for coming ruin to a country is when a white moron politician claims that jews are the chosen people, because he eagerly wants to receive his bribe

I don't believe you.
You're brown
>>
>>60989103
Milei is an actor who's job is to make libertarianism look bad. America will become a kind of Nazi state at some point in the future and Milei exists mostly to be a minor talking point to ease that transition. Most people will be glad to have the new regime, they won't call themselves Nazis, don't worry, you'll love it. But first people must suffer so they will appreciate the benefits of our totalitarian future.
>>
>>60989659
doesn't everyone in these corrupt latam shitholes use dollars anyway knowing that the local currency is managed by incompetent frauds
>>
>>60989103
It is already explained by an ACTUAL libertarian.
https://x.com/saifedean/status/1958140630858670501

Tldr
>Milei is a full-blown fake libertarian. He yells libertarian catchphrases and acts like he hates the state but his actions speak much louder than his words and he basically is no different than previous heads of states and has NOT followed through on any of his libertarian proposals despite the theatrics.
>>
>>60989189
>the Argentinan's policy

JUST SEND ISRAEL MONEY!
>>
>>60989945
>what does that make the US?
their masters. Milei and friends (Macri) want to tie the policies of whatever next governments there are while stealing billions. Macri, the previous president, got loans from the IMF, and no one knows what happened with a big % of that money.

>china just agreed to buy metric fuck-tonns of ag from them, at a PREMIUM.
not sure what you are talking to, but it doesn't matter. argentinian politicians are thieves, their capitalists (like Macri) are even worse.

>why do they need US money again?
to steal even more money.
>>
It's pretty funny because I personally see a lot of investment potential in Argentina as well. It shouldn't be in as shit shape as it is. It has a good demographic composition, large varied resource rich country, lots of tourist and travel appeal as well. They should be firing on all cylinders. Only mismanagement could be holding them back so badly.
>>
>>60990462
authoritarianism is our future, but how we get there (coup, revolution, civil war) nobody knows
>>
Buenos Aires is the most beautiful city in the new world
t. murican who went down there for 8 months and found a wife
>>
>>60991539
>Only mismanagement could be holding them back so badly.
it's corruption. here's an example: the fees to enter the country by plane are high, even though it's a third world country. why does that happen? because the owner of the company that manages airports (Eduardo Eurnekián) is a corrupt asshole that built his empire by sucking the teat of the state. guess what, he's also friends with Milei. so friendly, it's said he's the one who actually "created" him as a character.
just from airports, he's made US$1,500 million.
>>
>>60990721
I knew for sure when he had nothing to say about tariffs
>>
>>60989103
Commies seething
>>
in all honesty, is there anything mileikowsky could have done to salvage the argentina? because i don't think undoing decades of fiscal and economic mismanagement is a policy issue at that point
>>

>>60993051
keep coping.
>>
>>60989103

Western Hemisphere is USA's dominion. No need to stretch out far. And prevent China get a foot hold.
>>
>>60993051

It's a deep rooted issue that will take years and decades to fix. I'm not sure if his approach was mature enough. It does need to be severe but also pragmatic (and probably involve the dissolution of their democratic system).
>>
Populism should be prosecuted with the same strength Facism was. LATAM is full of populist governments plundering their countries' wealth.
>>
>>60993051
Cut government overspending about similar to how he did but more gradual and maintain funding for schools to keep educated/skilled labor. Strengthen worker unions and encourage workers to seize full control of industry. Provide legislation that better supports the growth of worker cooperatives. Go after landlords and have tenants collectivized housing. Decommodify housing.
>>
>>60993051
he didn't send enough money to Israel. It is the first mistake most countries make.

>>
>>60989103
Why is this failed state continually propped up again? Is it because they are "white"?
>>
I believe Argentina is a white country because any black country destroys their economy as many times as they did becomes Haiti-tier. White countries just keep getting bailed out.
>>
>>60989591
>well, inflation "fell" (if you believe their numbers)
It literally fell around 10x, what do you mean by "if you believe their numbers"? It's easily noticeable you nigger.
And no, massive inflation eating away at your savings isn't a good thing.

>but subsidies were killed and purchasing power dropped to levels not seen since 2001... when the last biggest social/economic crisis happened.
This is false, purchasing power only fell for usele leaches that refuse to get a real job, the actual poverty rate fell drastically
>>
>>60996278
>purchasing power only fell for poor people
>actual poverty rate fell drastically
here you have it, an expert argentinian economist.

The massive corruption benefiting his family probably didnt help

>>60989659
>the most libertarian gov in history
ironically, the most libertarian govs in history have been monarchies
>>
>>60997848
Not ironic at all. A king can make unpopular decisions (cutting off gibs will never be popular). Whatever 1 king skims off of the public revenue will also be way less than what 535 politicians can skim
>>
>>60989659
So the man leveraged the peso and put it all in on the fiat US dollar? Lamo. Holy fuck i have fucked up hard before but that's gigabrained shit.
>>
>>60995009
So only iron shall hold its value?
>>
Argentina keeps trying communism and capitalism and keeps failing while being given unlimited bailouts and funding meanwhile countries like India aren't given any bailouts
>>
>>60995195
>>60995084
Imagine if Nigeria or Morocco or even Georgia failed this many times and got bailed out like this. It's insane. Why is Argentina bailed out? Doesn't make sense to me.
>>
>>60989103
I can't and I am butthurt that I supported this guy.
He did a lot of good things but he's fucking retarded.
I hope he stays in power to help Argentina

>>60994281
>Lolbertarianism doesn't work, crapitalism doesn't work.
It worked every time it was tried but it takes time to reverse the decades of socialist failure.
>>
>>61000508
I hope Argentina stops getting bailed out. It can't recover from its addiction to credit without being cut off.
I can't believe the international community bails them out every time it's almost like they are Israeli
>>
Its not welfare its an investment
>>
>>61000497
>peronism = communism
if you had read anything about peronism, you'd know that it is akin to what trump is currently doing: a nationalistic, corporatist, industrialist ideology
meanwhile, Milei is just a retard who believes his own bullshit but has no idea about the real world

you faggots keep talking about shit you obviously have no idea about. you have no idea about politics. you just see a face and hear/read some comments and believe whatever the media tells you to believe.
>>
>>60989103
Milei's reforms are simply too little too late, Argentina has been economically mismanaged for decades and has built a staggering amount of debt, a huge deficit and has very corrupt institutions that don't prevent mismanagement. The IMF bailout comes with the explicit condition that Milei continues to implement the reforms he has outlined, precisely because they are needed in the long run.
https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2025/04/12/pr25101-argentina-imf-executive-board-approves-48-month-usd20-billion-extended-arrangement?utm_source=chatgpt.com
>>
>>61001246
>Milei's reforms are simply too little too late
>so he needs more money!
this cope is incredible. how much bribe money are Karina and the Menems getting?
btw, just in case you have not realized: his government is already over.
>>
>Government fails
>*sigh* somehow, this is bad for libertarianism
Do you think before you write?
>>
>>61001561
considering money is worth nothing it would be foolish to take debt seriously. just don't pay it lol. back when it was gold backed it had some value but now that its just made on demand its simply a way of controlling fools
>>
Argentina should just be left alone. These fuckers need another 1000 years in mud huts with no electricity.
>>
>>61001676
That's anti white racism, Argentina is pretty damn white. They call themselves Latino but 90% of them have very white skin. They are a developed country, which is why they're allowed to go bankrupt more times than any brown country.
>>
>>60990721
>like he hates
Well, how can you actually hate the state and run it.
>>
>>61001952
Well, you could run on a platform of dismantling as much of the state as practicable in a single generation of government. But Milei was never interested in that.
>>
Can someone explain to a retard what did Miles do wrong? We know he curbed inflation from the hard numbers but you tards say prices increased 5x? What the fuck you are literally contradicting yourself

>>60990721
Like this guy says Milei increased inflation when it's literally the opposite, what the fuck? This is some hardcore shilling
>>
>>60990721
>Not a real libertarian
LMAOO. This is the same excuse commies give
>>
>>61002056
Doesn't mean the author is wrong in this case. In fact, he point by point exposes how literally nothing Milei has done has been libertarian in essence. Milei is libertarian in name only.
Same shit as if a nigger went around and kept proclaiming he's "Japanese" because he somehow got a japanese passport, but he looks/talks/smells like a nigger - does that make him Japanese?

>>61002046
>We know he curbed inflation from the hard numbers
>We know
>from the hard numbers
You know nothing. Anyone that's been in this space long enough knows government-published inflation numbers are bullshit.
>>
>>61002046
>Can someone explain to a retard what did Miles do wrong? We know he curbed inflation from the hard numbers but you tards say prices increased 5x? What the fuck you are literally contradicting yourself
argentinian peso devalued when Milei took power and wages didn't keep up with prices. also, subsidies for utilities and public transport were kiled. argentina went from being a cheap country to one of the most expensive in latin america in less than a year.
Milei also keeps firing people and defunding government and public orgs. you can guess what that means when your purchasing power craters...
>>
>>61002046
The country went from a poor place that had cheap things to a poor place where everything got very expensive
