Because Canada's productivity levels are the some of the lowest in the westernized world with very little outside investment coming in. Trudeau's/Carney (as advisor) plan was to "stimulate" the economy by bringing as many immigrants as possible who have stereotypical spending problems instead of wealth hording. So they bring in Africans, Indians and Middle Easterns en masse. They are given as much welfare and unsecured credit checks as they possible need. Credit cards reaching up to $20,000. Hence why you only see brown people in shopping malls these days. The banks are issuing these credit cards to newly immigrants/refugees/asylum seekers because the government is printing money with full knowledge the bank's will eventually need a bailout. It's the worst temporary boost to the economy using tax payers dollars without these immigrants needing a job for four (4) years before being deported. Inflation will continue to rise till it basically reaches Venezuelan inflation rate circa 2023. In which the entire economy of Canada will collapse within the next 8 years after they keep doing these cycle. Just wait till the budget is released for 2025 in November. They won't even do the 2024 budget, because it's that bad. We had 3 months of no GST (december to february) on a lot of things. That alone is billions lost. The deficit will be close to $130 BILLION if not $150 billion. Interest charges on debt will annually cost tax payers over $100 billion. Which is completely unsustainable. The reason Carney is getting closer to the EU, is so Trump/USA isn't responsible for what will inevitably happen; a bailout. We will basically be the next Greece. But with Liberals there won't be any austerity measures. For Canadians, there is no escape from this. Unless you move and renounce citizenship.
