The only way to make it is schizophrenically holding onto your play and insisting you are right until the pump finally comes if ever. Goldfag and hgraf and soxlum all prove this thesis over and over. CLFfag would have but he fucked up. So I will keep putting money into ethereum treasuries, because the ether parabolic run to 12k is soon, and eth treasuries will 5-20x.

Anyway I have to go to work to get my paycheck now.

Zervos, who has been considered one of the potential candidates to ultimately replace Fed Chair Jerome Powell, contends the central bank should be more focused on the labor market right now than inflation.

“The smartest AI guys I know, the guys who have made the money in the largest amounts, and you know them. You have them on these shows. They’ve been saying for a while [that] they’re early in all the stocks,” he said. “These are the people that are telling me in meetings we’re going to lose three to five million jobs in the next three to four years. Maybe even faster.”

Okay
Then how do you stop the freefall of jobs

Would it be a mistake to use a stock portfolio as collateral on a mortgage?

Pros:
- I can get away with a minimal downpayment
- Maybe slightly better rate?

Cons:
- If I keep up with mortgage payments, can the bank still liquidate me if the portfolio value drops?
- In the future, if the house alone is enough collateral, would the bank willingly release the portfolio or is refinance my only path to freedom?

Mcdonalds is too expensive. Their app system is dumb even zoomers and future aoomers don't want to bother with that shit, the crypto bro mcdonalds meme era was a saving grace for them but even bizreals are getting sick of sirgay and stink bagholders shitting up biz. Immigrants eat their own food not mcdonalds. Their saving grace is retired old people with passive income too tired to cook all the time. Burger king is ironically the better choice for most xoomer and above old people (and their coffee is better). Plus the places look less a prison building. And no, salaried midlde aged people will faster go to starbucks or chipotle or some trendy overpriced diner. And no, kpop idol toys in happy meals can't save mcdonalds. Short mcdonalds.

Hypothetically, if I were a giga genius and I saw a massive upturn/downturn coming for the market, what is the best way to maximize profitability on each condition?
For example, SPY/SPX options has a bad ratio for large swings barely making over 3-5x unless I get extremely good timing. Where playing it every week by sentiment would be the best way to maximize profit though its hard to estimate potential earnings from such a thing. And this would be small itself compared to trading top gainers/losers on the sentiment.

Also the peak is closer to 140 day cycles. Do you guys think it's aliasing because my sample length is too short (I had to reverse engineer finviz's client side charting to scrape the data since they can't legally give it to me) or is it a phase error (from this year? Powell is the "economic whipping boy." He doesn't actually do anything. The fake drama is to calm down people and make them think someone's actually in charge of all of this.

If Trump can point to someone and say "this evil man is conspiring to dampen the economy but I'm fixing it!" people trust him more. If he says "it's fucked and there's nothing we can do (ie reality)" everyone panics.

It shouldn't work like that but it does.

yes but if you think about it they are just investment firms with extra risk exposure and they tend to lead the market.
like when they rise the market tends to follow, when they dip the market is dipping.

they just collect money and invest it, they just have to be extra careful, they can not be late.

if the market dips and they have too much exposure to the dip it would be way worse to them because in a market dipping event all of their risk shit is going up.

i am more thinking about them as a leading indicator.
i am interested in how much they participate in fx swaps.

Investopedia has an article from 2025 explaining fed rates and the requirement of reserves in banking as collateral that has not been relevant since 2020. It is giving me outdated information. I am expected to do my own research when it comes to subjects like this, and I do not like it when everything isn't handed to me on a silver platter. I don't know what this means, but I am upset that it is not completely correct 100% of the time. What do they think I am? Some kind of economics whizz kid? I'm fucking done with investopedia for three days or maybe even a week. That's right, you fucking clowns, we're on break.

I'd imagine most futures traders aren't sober. Trading for an institution is an *insanely* stressful job with pretty much zero stability. I barely handle software engineering sober, I can't imagine doing that.

The problem is that he went long an insane amount *just before this generational dump.* He was effectively more unlucky than unusual IMO.

I'm honestly afraid of touching futures. Both sides are effectively a combination of long/short call/put options so no matter what you do you have a massively levered short position with an expiry date either way.

I'm kind of surprised it's so easy to get approved for it as a retail trader.

A lot of prop firms don't care about the longterm success of their traders. The good ones do. The bad ones have high desk fees (like $2,000 per year) and as soon as you lose money on the week, you're out. Lots of people to replace you and some only care about getting those fees

Everything. It's just a shitty WMT card, but they pay 3% cashback in store, which is what most of my shopping is (maybe $40/week on groceries), plus cell phone and maybe a bus pass. Also paid off.

I feel bad for normalfags that buy like a TV or xbox with cash, that's $600 they could be earning like $20 on, all they have to do is whip out a card and then pay it off with cash immediately. But they don't

Concept is fine execution bad:

If you're going to ape NASA worm logo, improve kerning, add ligatures.

NASA logo works because its just 4 letters, no frills, so have a version without the coffee cup for web/whatever. Maybe distinguish it from NASA worm by doing ligatures on all letters, or working in AI to stylize the bezier arcs

the cup/shroom concept is fine, but you need an illustrator (or AI I guess) because it looks like a generic icon. Outline icons are everywhere on the internet. People see them as bland, not bold.

My recommendation: Just nail the MANA wordmark, and then try a variety of adornments/brand-stamps to pair with (for some, not all contexts).

Likewise, the square with corner rounding just reads "app icon" it's boring.

Also, color is your friend. But hard to wrangle.

Good luck anon! Design is a fun craft and it's lucrative when you're hard working + lucky.

Why is gold higher than it's ever been right now by a huge margin? I know gold is what you buy in a panic and it's in line with the rapture talk from last week. But when will it plummet and by how much? Is this not unsustainable?
>>
>>61004058
Because the dollar is plummeting
>>
>>61004058
Gold is a panic buy asset, prices don't come down until the people who were panic buying stop panicking.

If america comes into some sort of golden age instead of WWIII then prices will come down in 3-4 years. If the market doesn't start crashing early next year and the orange guy doesn't tweet something crazy for a few weeks then there will be a dip.

Thanks anon! No idea what half that meant (kerning, ligatures, bezier arcs) but am looking into it now. First time trying to build a 'brand' rather than just commodity style business. It's fun but really hard to think about - not just the logo/visuals but the brand architecture, target customers for each and how to draw the lines, etc. I plan to hire a designer once I can stick with one wordmark that doesn't make me cringe two months later (I've had some pretty bad ones I was set on before) and a brand structure that makes sense.

Part of me kind of liked boring because it's clean, safe and predictable, which is what I'd want with pic rel, a B2B mycology company that will supply axenic inputs to other businesses. But for coffee or other consumable packaged goods, it's probably clinical and cold, so the styles probably should diverge..

I was reading about color this morning and will add some. Inkbot Design had some really insightful content about branding I've been going through. Tried some variations this morning but it is hard like you said. I think for the B2B company, Pacific Fungi, some blues would be welcome, but as you said it's hard.

Speaking of spending money. This video should be taught in consumer finance courses. It is just a total masterpiece of spending money you don't have (home equity loan), not thinking things through (had no idea what things cost), and not getting multiple quotes (got his home equity loan before having a final number from a contractor). All that to end up in a garage in Canada they can't work in without a heavy coat cause it is too cold.

The scariest part is, the only reason we reported economic growth last quarter— and the only reason they revised it upwards last week — was due to the beginning of the tariffs and the end of de minimus exemptions. I cannot believe the BLS did not explain that to investors. That’s highly irresponsible. Pulling all that trade forward means we very likely dipped a full percentage point or two. That was a shit ton of good that manufacturing nations like China dumped on our shores to avoid tariffs. So, next quarter will be horrible numbers. It will show a slowdown in overall economic activity AND a reduction in trade due to last quarter’s pulling forward.
I’m sure they will explain it at that point…but only after Main Street leverages their 401K long into nividia and Tesla.
