>Reposted from bant thread;

Bros, there's yet another recession indicator.

Over at my DIY retail hell(that makes $150+ billion annual revenue), my company just fucking decided to change the 'call out' system to where you can no longer use up sick time for shit like early outs, bereavement, late punches or even military shit on your own, now you have to talk DIRECTLY to management for permission to call out/use sick time at all. You can ONLY do either absent(the whole day shift) or manager approved changes on your own without calling them ahead. A shitload of my coworkers were pissed off when they saw it and managers found it strange too.

It sounds like whining yeah but I just find that really fucking weird they changed that on short notice when there wasn't a problem with it for the few years I worked there....signs of bad shit coming?

Can't do more than 3 in and out trades in a 5 business day period or your account gets locked until you deposit enough to make your value 25k. A bullshit Jewish rule meant to stop retail from being able to set stop losses or take profit on their trade without being severely punished. Results in you being stuck in trades if shit happens intraday and you're at your limit even though it's your own fucking money you're trading. It's justified with >well the funds aren't le settled! Even though all money is a digital number on a computer in Utah or Arizona.

I did a cash-out refi on my house in January '22 when values were sky high and interest was still low to get the $25k. I'm not sure how I feel about it being lowered to 2k. Yes it'll introduce more people to trading but for the big fish it'll work in their favor since there'll be an influx of inexperienced traders to profit off of.

>>61017761
basically, theyre gonna leave it up to the broker to decide what the minimum is for day trading. You dont have to use margin because the cash settlement shit will be over with.
>>
>>61017802
Yeah I know what PDT is, I'm surprised that the change actually seems like a good thing. I thought they'd use this as a way to squeeze out people in midsize accounts, effectively increasing the minimum account to day trade, but that isn't the case weird.
They must be desperate for money.
>yes goyim trade to your hearts content
>day traders only lose money because they give up too early!
>>
>>61017802
3 in and out trades INTRADay*
Sorry, should've made that clear. So what this meant for me is I save my intradays for stop losses or profit taking and generally setup my trades to buy end of day/post market and sell in premarket and go from there. This also means my sleep schedule is totally niggerlicious since I wake up at 1 am to sell or trade.
>>
>>61017765
Yes, it's still undervalued, because there are literally a record number of shorts on it to keep the value suppressed so that tech can still get everything from the mines for cheap. However eventually the demand will overpower it. The fact that silver is now listed as a critical resource that the government will stockpile means that this will happen and they just need to built up their reserve before it happens.
>>
>>61017821
>>61017808
All it means is you can take profit or have reasonable stop losses without getting fucked in the ass for being smart. Retard retail traders will always blow themselves up on weekly options anyways.
>>
>>61017821
If you don't have 2 brain cells to rub together to put 25k into a brokerage account then the last thing you should be doing is using that big brain of yours to day trade stocks when you should be pushing a broom or holding a stop sign at a construction site.

That's not a long time frame to be holding something like CRM. I'm considering it as a hedge against a bubble / economic downturn. It hasn't recovered at all from liberation day because everyone is chasing flashy AI shit that hemorrhages money every quarter. Meanwhile shit like ADBE and CRM are the types of players that apply AI in a way that is realistically palatable at an enterprise level, eg. CRM's AgentForce product with auditability and very well defined guard rails etc. I really think Wall Street will rotate back into things like this at some point when they're done drip feeding memestocks to retail bagholders.

When you're looking at the S&P always keep in mind you're literally just looking at a chart of NVDA. No other company has any relevance to the price level of the S&P. If NVDA is up, it will be up, and if NVDA is down, it will be down. It's no longer a useful metric of the stock market as a whole, I don't even pay attention to it anymore and neither should you.
>>
Instead of going for nvidia its probably better to focus on the smaller players.

If you were developing a brand that initially sells only mushroom coffee, how would you want to position the brand?
>coffee company that specializes in mushroom coffee (differentiate the product by not being instant coffee, maybe win over the snobs, leaves sales channel open for normal coffee

do you have input as to how you'd brand it regarding 'coffee company that makes mushroom coffee too' vs 'wellness type company that offers mushroom coffee'?

if it helps I feel my structural edges in the marketplace may be:
>farm to cup production unlike competitors (Ryze, MUD\WTR)
>actually taste good, not like shit (coffee forward branding may be important here imo)
>quality of mushroom inputs is comparatively high due to owning the full supply chain, with a slight scientific bent toward dosing, etc

Wellness branding leads to flexibility down the road at the expense of a more narrow targeted brand initially, so I lean toward locking into coffee then considering broader rebranding later.

I thought stacking those shiny bars would make me feel like a king, believing silver was the lynchpin that’d bring the American banking sector to its knees faster than a margin call! But now I’m just a nervous wreck checking charts every five seconds! I’m not a revolutionary, I’m a human with BILLS! This rollercoaster’s got me dizzy, and I’m DONE riding it. I'd actually do the opposite. Start with wellness and then if sales aren't what you had projected, use the overall wellness as a foundation and then attack the "it tastes good and doesn't make you shit or give you acid reflux" audience.
