Gentlemen, the last thread got a couple of really good and interesting Posts regarding Side-Hustles and the like. I personally do like Re-Selling at a "regional" level - I buy Electronics pretty cheap (mostly at House Clearances) and then sell them for more online. I had bought a big YAMAHA Mixing Console like a month ago for 20Euros, literally was going to thrown away otherwise. And I sold it a week ago for 150Euros. Sometimes its nice profit like this, sometimes its 30, sometimes less, sometimes more.
I would love to get more structure in and maybe even buy Online, but havent done so yet.

So, what are YOUR neat Side-Hustles, Business ideas and money making schemes BESIDES Crypto and Stocks?

One time a buddy and I started a cleaning company and it went quite well. Took about 3 months before we were living off of it.

Sounds interesting Anon! I have been thinking about that as well, just need the right equipment and a good friend to do it with. How much did you guys make after 3 months? What was the profit and what did you put in? Is it still going strong or did you guys stop after a while?
>>
>>61017298
Did you guys do the cleaning? If not how did you find employees that weren't degenerates?
>>

This was like in 2016. We were making about 1500 a month each after 3 months. The startup expenses were just business cards, mops, microfiber rag packs, chemicals and a shop vacuum, liability insurance ($500 per year, but many clients ask if you have it), and a couple custom printed t-shirts.
I went around building with a bunch of hipster software startups, knocked on doors and just said "my company doesnoffice cleaning, how are you guys doing in that regard?".
Some days I would land 2-3 new clients in a few hours of cold calling like that. Then I would ask them tk see the office, take notes, and come back with a cost estimate for however many cleanings a week they needed.
At first we cleaned ourselves to learn the ins and outs, very soon we started hiring people.

We had mainly Filipinos and Romanians working for us (in Canada). Basically you need to avoid young dudes who will get bored or bummed out by the job, avoid young and middle aged women, or women altogether. Hire middle aged or older dudes who will have an easy time and appreciate being able to make a quick buck for 3-4 hours of work a few evenings a week.
Since I am not a kike or a boomer, I paid everyone a few bucks above market rates and kept them all relaxed and happy.
Honestly, never had any issues with any of them except the young guys, whom I stopped hiring cause they rightly think this line of work is bullshit and should be out there starting businesses themselves.

Oftentimes, it is profitable to have transnational reselling, i.e. one guy buying kitchen appliances in Germany on sale, the other guy selling them in Hungary. Also good with power tools.

Kek, my GF is Romanian (Im German) and her father is pretty much like that. He worked for someone in Construction and is now in the process of creating his own Construction firm. I helped with Insurance and other stuff. He is always looking for people from Bulgaria or similar to work for him, hehe.

>>61017446
Nice anon! How is that going? Are you thinking of expanding it like the Anon above with his Cleaning Company?

>>61017474
That is something I have been looking into for a while and this is FOR SURE the way to go for a much higher profit. Wholesale basically, right? So, I am in Germany and could use the EU to buy something like you said on one country for cheap and then sell it somewhere else for more.

We had a falling out because my buddy wanted to bring in a childhood friend and give him a third of the company, and I knew the guy and I wouldn't get along. So we split into 2 companies.
His company grew because the existing clients often moved into larger and larger locations. Remember, I found them as startups, so basically they either boomed or folded after a year or two.
As for me, I kept cleaning my contracts alone mostly, enjoying the solitude and listening to racist podcasts. When I left to travel, I left it to my workers and they didn't let me down. After a while, I moved countries and left my company to another buddy, who grew it a little and kept it going fir another 5 years. I taught him how to look for new customers and run the thing.
Overall, it allowed me to live my chud life for a couple years, and bought the first co-founder a nice condo when all is said and done.
The main things I disliked were rhe low status of this activity (very non-prestigious), and dealing with office cunts with fake jobs "office managers" as my contacts in client companies. But I really am a very antisocial guy.

>Nice anon! How is that going? Are you thinking of expanding it like the Anon above with his Cleaning Company?

I'm the same guy. Yes, it's quite likely, although anything with construction is stressful and miserable because all the guys are alcoholics and the clients only pay on time half the time.
I live in a new country now and need to figure out how to survive.

Sometimes the buyers are not in the countries you expect. With power tools, I knew people buying in Czechia and selling in Bulgaria. Another one buying in Hungay and selling in Serbia (there are apparently tricks to do this duty-free). I knew a nig from Togo who bought cars in Canada and sold them in Africa lol.
So maybe appliances from Germany can go to Romania or Hungary?
Me, I live in Serbia currently.

Thank you so much for the explanation my friend, that was very detailed and wow - What a story. It also shows how much unforeseen stuff can happen when you have your own Company. Falling outs, problems with staff, losing/getting new Clients etc etc etc - As an employee you dont really have those problems.
Big Ups to you though, if you can do that once you can do it again and again with other Companies as you seem to be a hard worker.

I did think about starting a Company that does... cleaning of dumpsters. What do you think of that? Basically just going to the rich areas, putting a flyer in the mail and see if those rich people bite. Buy a Pressure Washer, some cleaning Chemicals and basically wash the dumpsters that they have outside of houses. What do you think of that? Prices, rates etc. I didnt really think about yet. BUT here as well, you are completely right, it would be a low level status for everyone involved.

>cleaning of dumpsters

I don't have personal wlexperience with this one.

I can say garbage and debris hauling is an excellent low-prestige activity, everyone I've run into who does that has kept afloat more or less including random who rent a truck for 20 a day just to do a couple garbage runs. It's also easy to hire guys because it's cash in hand and even less skilled than furniture moving. However, in Serbia there are just dumps where it's some dude's territory in a forest and you pay him 10 euros to dump your haul down a ravine, in Germany it would involve driving the garbage to an eco-center and paying to have it taken from you probably.

There is one specific new business type I spotted recently while renovating a place, but I don't want to blow it on here. I can show it to you personally though if you want. They are new and doing well, and for now it only exists in a few places, so maybe it hasn't appeared in Germany yet.

I think I am going to just try that out. Creating Flyers to put into some mails is not a big spending and if enough people bite... why not try it, right? You for sure motivated me with your story as well!

BTW: Jeets gonna jeet. :D

>>61017721
Well brother that sounds intriguing! I wont be in Serbia soon though so you wont be able to show it to me personally unfortunately. :D Does it have to do with House Clearances or with renovating a place specially? If you can or can not tell me, I thank you for the thought my friend. :)
>>
>>61017768
Lol I didn't mean to show you in person.
It's a new type of entertainment venue basically, if you want I can email you the name of the business so you see how it works. But this would require quite a bit of legwork and investment and involves getting something manufactured in China, so it probably doesn't answer your requirements.

Interestingly enough I did drive through Serbia in the summer, it seemed pretty comfy and is surely MUCH nicer than Bulgaria, kek. Sounds interesting fren, I made some good money via Re-Selling and Im sitting on some cash, but that is going be used to open up a Business for sure - Just dont know what yet. Its in the low-ish 5 digits range.

Man that sounds interesting though, a type of entertainment - If you invest in it I wish you all the best with it! :)

>>61017957
I will :) Nothing to lose but some interesting experience at the least to gain. If it "takes off" I would need to buy some equipment, but I always find good deals on used pressure washers and the like.

Good thread OP, To the anons who stay on thread topic (appreciate it) did you do your respective things as side hustles or weekend gigs initially? Were you employed, worked half time or unemployed? I have a dayjob in IT that pays somewhat well for my cunt, so I dont want to abandon it any time soon, but if theres more money to be made outside of it, I wouldnt mind putting in some effort.
>>
>>61018180
And you brüdi, godspeed.

>>61018235
I do the Re-Selling thing on the side while still studying. Its pretty comfy because I can just look up stuff while in classes, no one is bothered when youre on your Laptop or phone etc. - So thats a plus. If you work in IT and can look at your phone at will, you can for sure do something Online-Related. Re-Selling should work here as well.

I personally want to do something different (the dumpster cleaning idea for example) because I dont want to work for someone else and nowadays studying is just not the nonplus ultra thing it was decades ago.
>>
>>61018297
Sounds good, I do get some downtime every now and again, so I will start looking into it, thanks anon

In my country residential solar panels are extremely common. So I've been offering cleaning services. Just needed a ladder, some microfibre cloths and a few odds and ends. Been making around the equivalent of $400USD a day. It's nice just working as much as I feel like. I can pay the mortgage with a few days work. If I feel like taking it easy one week I can. In the US, I don't believe there are lots of people with solar panels on their roofs, so maybe you could do window cleaning or some shit.
>>
>>61018535
Good luck fren, look for cheap electronics in your region first to get a feel for Re-Selling and the market as a whole. Consoles started my journey in Re-Selling, could be interesting for you as well. Buy a PS4 for 70, sell it for 120. Look at the market. When you have that down, go for bigger/pricier products.

>>61019136
Love it! Here in Germany Solar Panels are pretty common too, maybe I should look into that man. But its on the roof of big houses most of the time. Isnt it at least a little big dangerous? But that comes with the territory I guess. Its really good money though!

A little beam to the top guys, looking forward to more ideas and discussions besides Crypto and Stocks. Dont get it twisted though: A Side Hustle can feed into Stock investments, especially if you do a Side Hustle strictly as a side gig. Made 100Euro by flipping something? Invest in Crypto or buy Silver with it. Thats what I should have done, but didnt.

Tutoring high school math and science. I’ve become the go-to guy in my hometown. Not really scalable, though. It’s just decent money under the table.
