So I was looking at some stocks that hadn’t really gone up that much in a couple years, usually just matching the s&p. Then I look at their earnings growth and realize it has gone up slowly over the years, so understandable I guess since earnings = stock price, right?

Then I see this stock that has lower and lower earnings by the year and is trading at a 250 p/e. “It’s more than a car company” so why doesn’t it make money? People have been using that excuse for literally 5 years now. Where are the earnings to show for it?

Does any of this even matter? Or is the name of the game just chasing whatever retarded stocks have the most call buyers behind them?

Basically, yes. I just take a peek and what the chart looks like, just scan for basic patterns maybe 1 minute per chart and multiple time frames and log scale anything higher than 4h and maybe go through 100 charts in an hour. Very easy to just find something tasty I don't give a shit what the company is i just trade charts.
