What do you think is better?A) 100% index fundsB) 90% index funds, 10% moon shots in cryptoC) Mix of BTC, index funds, Gold
c and its not a matter of opinion
>>61022428C but with Ethereum
>>61022492>>61022502Honestly seems 90% VOO, 8% cash, 2% in stables to quickly flip alts to be ideal
What are the percentages in C)?
>>610226351/3
>>61022428How old are you? Under 30 you need to go maximum risk (tempered by not buying scams) - all crypto and maybe high volatility tech stocks. Taper off risk as you age.
>>61022672I'm 29
>>61022641So 33 percent in bitcoin, VOO and gold? When do you need these funds? Five years? 35 years? I’d do 50 percent VOO, 25 percent gold, 25 percent bitcoin.Personally, I have 0.3 bitcoin but its percentage of my portfolio gets smaller annually because I’m tossing everything into VOO.
>>61022604"moonshots" are a complete waste of time just buy bitcoin.
>>61022681I'd want it in 10 years. Hope to be retired by then or at least working some chill part time gig to make the difference.>>61022683Still think it would outperform VOO or VT in the next decade? I'd probably just buy it in bear markets
>>61022492Correct.
>>61022762>Still think it would outperform VOO or VT in the next decade?of course. it's the safest, riskiest thing that has the highest probability to outperform
>>61022428A) sucks, and C) is just stupid because it doesn't benefit from technological advances. B) is just partially sucky and partially stupid.I pick D) 100% individual stocks, anything, do moon shots for all i care
>>61023298> C) is just stupid because it doesn't benefit from technological advances> C) Mix of BTC, index funds, GoldIndex funds tech sector don't benefit from technological advances?
>>61023298how do you pick the right ones? Seems better risk-to-reward to just buy VOO
>>61023382I wouldn't know. Every stock I've picked has been a banger, so from my perspective you just pick randomly and win every time.
>>61024157What stock do you think is going to be the next banger? Like won't buy, prob sticking with VOO, just curious on what a /biz/ genius comes up with
>>61022428>80% boomer funds>10% stongs>5% bitcoin (no other crypto)>5% cash
>>61022683>>61023136>>61022492Bitchud
How secure do you guys feel about your broker? I'm nervous about transferring $500k in one shot from my bank, and if shit hits the fan is my broker going to be around to reimburse me?
>>61023136yeah just like everything else. the past 15 years went exceptionally well for VOO. it might keep going or it might not. by the same token you could suggest qqq instead.
>>61022762Bitcoin will out perform for atleast the next decade.
>>61024273In 10 years every blackrock client will have atleast 10% exposure to bitcoin if not 20%
>ALL IN CRYPTO not listed as option Dfucking retard op have fun never making it and sucking jewish cock the rest of your life
>>61029001>just lose all your money trying to win the lottery bro
>>61022428Anyone who says anything other than C is a retard. Simple as
>>61022428C is good for diversification, as Gold and BTC are not stocks and sometimes can move differently. Something like 60% stocks, 20% gold, 20% BTC.Bonds are a meme and as worthless as paper money.100% in a single asset is poor diversification.I'd trow a house in the mix.
>>61022428D) Being first on the POINTLESS leaderboards
>>61022428D) 75%-90% BTC cold storage, you can gamble the rest on your shitcoin of choice
I started investing into SP500, but when I look at Blackrock I'm thinking it could be good to go 15% into it, they're diversified by nature and they have massive inertia, I really can't see Blackrock failing, the game seems rigged for them.Am I a retard to think that?
