At $83 this is basically free money. Down 65% from high of $234 in 2021 sitting at 0.786 fib and major generational support.

lol good luck. Iv been an ups employee for 23 years. A driver for 19 years. Carol tome is running this company into the ground. We continue to alienate our big customers. We keep loosing big account after big account, the most recent was Best Buy who went to FedEx.

The vast majority of managment are dei retards who have no understanding of how to run a shipping company

Every fucking time I log into upsers.com which is our employee portal, the whole fucking site is full of images black and brown men and women or obvious dyke bitches.

The newly automated buildings are running like shit. Some so bad that they are actually canceling other remodels after seeing the results

Funniest fucking shit, corporate actually had a great idea to create some woke dei package car. The truck was wrapped with cartoon niggers, rainbow flags and all types of faggotry. Everybody refused to drive it, and they sent it back to GA.

Stay the fuck away from this shit company’s stock until Carol tome steps down or gets kicked out.

UPS is absolutely the worst carrier, youd have to be an absolute retard to invest in that shit. the chart proves the point, and the anon above me drives it home

i don't think employee opinion really matters
everyone hates their job, especially UPS employees
>>
>>61022710
UPS drivers get paid 6 figures and can't be fired. FedEx makes $20/hr.

>>61022697
Unless you can explain how this is a waste of time.
Shit just shows up at my house.

yes but when UPS delivers my shit it's the worst possible experience every time. if a shop doesnt say what carrier they use I email them to ask, and if it's ups I don't buy
>>
>>61022734
it will dpend on where you live. if they can hire the worst niggers and shitskins, they will, and you'll have awful service. if you're in a normal area, it can be good/decent. Kinda like mcdonalds, or... everything else. totally niggerfied

Nonsense. I love my job, and I actually go out of the way to do the right thing for my customers…. Which now results sometimes with me getting a “talking with” from my supervisors, who now all have 0 driving experience.

Every single on road supervisor had to have driving experience years ago, almost all managment actually came from ups, including old CEOs.

It’s frustrating to see how we treat big accounts, and the continuous stepping over a dollar to save a nickel.

The only reason the stock pumped so high in the first place was because of Covid gibs, lock downs, and workers receiving allowances from their jobs to order stuff

Look at how much FedEx dumped from Covid ath, compared to ups.

Also, understand that now Amazon is actually taking customers from us, which is something that just started happening in the last few years. Our ups basic service is absolute shit and much more expensive than the other options.

Ups used to run a single package to the airport if it missed our ups plane and make sure they put it on a delta or whatever flight to make service. Now they leave whole next day air trailer in the lot if they arrive 2 minutes late. Medicine, machine equipment needed to run factory’s, all types of stuff just sits there until the next day.

UPS now doesn’t even service some areas every day. If you live in a certain area, you only get deliveries Mon wed and Fri. If you’re waiting on something important they don’t care.

Amazon was always going away eventually, they were just dumping their excess packages on you until they had the capability to deliver it all themselves.
>>
>>61022795
This is a whole nother topic. There are currently grievances about roadie. Also, Carol seems to be running roadie into the ground as well

>>61022802
Let me explain. Amazon shipping is now getting contacts with non Amazon sellers. Bark box which is its own entity switched from using ups to now using Amazon shipping. This just started happening recently

Also the whole reason Amazon even thought about its own shipping was one peak season when ups was absolutely unprepared as usual and our system which hadn’t been updated in decades got completely over-welmed and failed. I was personally rolling whole neighborhoods of packages for weeks which would not get delivered before our 14hr dot cap. That year we were delivering guaranteed before Christmas packages at the end of Jan. Absolute train wreck. At that exact point Amazon came up with their own shipping idea and also poached a lot of our very good OG managment to setup their network.
>>
>>61022849
What's it like at your center?
I worked for 2 years as a "package handler" in rural Oklahoma and it was fucking brutal. They worked me like a field nigger. Warehouse open to the elements, no automated conveyer belt, rollers only that were heavy as fuck and you had to manually set up.
New guys would walk out their first day with a thousand yard stare like they just came back from Vietnam. I personally saw a guy drop dead on the clock, and a few others pass out from heat stroke. 130 degree trailers that were left backing all day in the sun in the summer vs 10 degrees in the winter standing outside fueling trucks with your hands frozen closed.
Amazon trailers were light work. A bunch of plastic crap from China that weighed nothing. Those were like getting a break compared to our normal industrial customers. Daily 200 piece shipments each package 80 pounds and trying to load that shit into a bread truck. And of course the dipshits who order stuff like mattresses and trampolines online.
I don't blame UPS employees for not giving a shit.
>>
>>61023008
I work in hot climate so the only issue is the heat in the summer which sucks. My route is in one of the wealthiest zip codes in the country. Extremely comfy.

I don’t let managment fuck with me, if they even start with the nonsense I start filing grievances like crazy, so they will always just move on to the weak/cuck drivers and try to get more productivity out of them. The whole reason why this job can be hard/dangerous is people refuse to stand up to managment. We have a union to back us, no reason not to.

The money hungry drivers in my center make 140k a year, I’m on path to make 110/115 with minimal overtime as I’m on the “no excessive overtime” list. I also get 5 weeks paid vacation + 8 personal days. Health insurance wise, I pay nothing out of pocket besides 20 dollar copay for doc visits and 5 dollars for drugs from the pharmacy. Comfy af.

The job can absolutely suck when you start, but once you get around the 10 year mark, it’s pretty chill.
>>
>>61023053
so should we short it?
>>
>>61023053
Yeah I was next in line to be a driver but I gave my spot up to go back to college. I'm an electrical engineer now, you make more than I do but I fucking hated that place. The only good thing about it is that everyone was white but my god the work was brutal.
>>
>>61022728
Well an ups driver won’t rape and murder your daughter if left unattended.
>>
>>61022564
The irony is that I prefer UPS over Fedex. What is your thesis though other than it once was higher?

Week trading is where it's at
>>
It's a dividend stock and bleeding because the workers have a strong union and demanded better pay, which forced the company to not do silly things like buy back all their stock or treat their workers like subhuman shit to ensure profitability is constantly hitting new highs.

>woman takes over company

Now you just need a jeet to complete it by moving management ito india while importing illegal jeets to drive the cars.

>but I fucking hated that place
But driving around in my truck as a seasonal guy was great, just throw packages at people's lawns and leave.
>the work was brutal
I didn't experience this. Now I work in a bank and make nothing.
>>
>>61023053
If it makes you feel better, most western corpos have gotten way off track with cheapening out to buy back stock. I think there’s soon to be a come to Jesus moment
>>
>>61022734
>Dogshit employees
>Frequently fail to deliver packages
>When they fail to deliver you cannot call them, you cannot intercept the package, you cannot even speak to a person easily
>After wrestling with AI you'll be sent to some Indian who cannot do anything whatsoever.
>Can't go to UPS locations to solve problem
The drivers are better than Amazon drivers but the company itself is dogshit.

Besides, we are kind of past the "buy shitloads of cheap dropshipped Chinese garbage online" phase as a society so UPS won't reach those 2021 levels anytime soon.

IMHO NFA DYOR

UPS right now feels like a beaten-down dog. They’ve made some missteps that hurt the stock, but the company still has a lot of strengths and I believe they can straighten the ship.

First off, their brand is extremely valuable. The UPS Store network is a real moat it’s the best in the industry. The in-store experience and breadth of services are unmatched. On top of that, their core business competency is still leading. They’re simply more reliable than their biggest peer: UPS runs at 96.5% on-time delivery vs FedEx’s 92% (as of Dec 2024). That’s a clear operational edge.

The problem is they’ve failed to tell that story to the public. If they could strike a chord again like they did with the old “What Can Brown Do for You?” campaign, they could re-earn mindshare in the market and remind customers and investors what they actually do best.

They also need to refresh their look. Revamping the truck fleet would go a long way in improving visibility and brand perception. Amazon’s fleet is striking and noticeable; UPS’s trucks are iconic but dated. Updating them could double as both a marketing move and a modernization push.

The toughest challenge, though, is Amazon. UPS can’t beat them head-to-head. Amazon is a bull, and UPS needs a matador CEO, someone who knows when to step aside, redirect, and use Amazon’s force to their advantage. Amazon is both a customer and a competitor, and also a leader in warehouse and logistics tech. UPS would benefit massively from working closer with them in certain sectors while still competing in areas where UPS has an edge. It’s tricky, because Amazon has a way of using and abusing partners, but I believe UPS can carve out a position as both an essential partner to Amazon and a winning competitor in other areas.
