>>61023669Not if you made it. You, your parents and grandparents had 100 years.
>>61023628> One of those things you never really get over brahThat all depends. Some people literally don't feel for others.
I hope this is just a joke
>>61023666It helps when you think about the fact this shit has been happening since the dawn of time. Many before us have felt these feels and so will many after us. It helps only marginally though, I would say the first 10 years are the hardestto get through. It gets easier from there.

>>61023637Victorians emotionally distanced themselves from children til they reached a certain age because children before that age had a 50% mortality rate. Makes you think about how much we choose to suffer by indulging in narratives that allow for bad endings.

>>61023637Sorry for your loss fren.>>61023688>It helps when you think about the fact this shit has been happening since the dawn of time.To levels hard to fathom today. My great grand mom got 14 children, 8 of which died before age 6. That was the norm for farmer families far from urban centers even just 100+ years ago : 10-15 children, and losing over half of them while they were young kids. They didn't even bother to give them a name before age 2 (usually when they were getting baptized) because they died so often. Life didn't used to be valued much.
