Just for additional detail - I didn't originally hate coding that bad but going through CS at school made me grow to really hate it. I stuck with the degree because I was under the impression that CS was an in demand degree that could be applied across a broad spectrum of different jobs (this was still true back in 2015 when I got the degree).Things are even worse now that I'm NEET. Another issue is that the big money is often in fields like finance that are EXTREMELY gated and impossible to get into without elite Ivy League connections.
