Wednesday evening run to give TQQQ my energy
In theory, the energy from my legs gets transferred into the ground, which helps the crops grow, which feeds the livestock, which get butchered and consumed by all those tech workers, and they'll be more productive, and their stock prices will go up, and TQQQ will rise by .0001 basis points

i just ask ai and try to verify the results (lol jk im not gonna bother, not like it matters anyways here)
apparently govt shutdowns = lower interest rates = market go up duh

history repeats itself, we get a pullback like what every 2-3 years, the reverse is the same, stock just go up coz cash is worth less and a govt shutdown has happened multiple times before.
as long as you verify shit and dont just take its word for it when ur actually dumping a buncha money into a decision, then ai at the very least is braindead useful vs just googling alone

too much fucking word vomit tho i only looked at the bottom lol

Oh my fucking god, my DIY store still has shitloads of Halloween crap that people didn't buy....and its all on clearance(for 50%, some products down from $300 to $150) too yet customers ain't buying them and I had one upper class lookin' family bitch at ME claiming "waahhh its still too expensive". Store managers in my district are PISSED that they cannot move them anywhere else, too much shit to move and no space for them elsewhere.

For context, I live in one of the fastest growing cities in the USA due to Californians moving in, so I expected more products to sell out. Well, we STILL got fuckin' pallets in overstock and TODAY we had to set up the fucking Christmas section already, right next to the Halloween shit that won't sell. A bobo does not concern himself with such things week-week. Mumu is the dopamine addict who must remain in constant motion or die.

A mumus business is to toil, day in and day out, slaving away in the fields chewing on 1kcal mouthfuls of fibrous grass -pouring over reports and screeners for a 1% pump.

It is not ours. Ours is to wait. To have patience. Sure we can pick a few blackberries here and there, but for the most part we wait for the salmon to run, And when our time is nigh, everything happens very quickly. The bobo sees the returns of the mumu from a months cud chewing appear overnight in his account overnight. But for most of the year, he sleeps soundly - restfully.

Their last auction was also the weakest in decades.

>Japan’s auction of two-year government bonds drew the weakest demand since 2009 amid rising speculation the central bank will raise interest rates as soon as October.

>The bid-to-cover ratio, a key measure of demand, fell to 2.81 from the previous auction. It was significantly lower than the 12-month average of 3.79. Two-year notes extended declines, driving the yield up 1 basis point to 0.935%, the highest since 2008. Meanwhile, Japanese 10-year bond futures reversed gains, falling 12 ticks to 135.78 in afternoon trading.

But since they are buying their own debt, whatever.

and then it wasn't. i think productivity gains will compound on themselves as demand for ai spurs demand in other industries. more utilities leads to more construction and more energy leads to more manufacturing. virtuous compounding cycle. the internet did the same thing, only the acceleration was frontloaded and took time to play out. this one is unfolding much differently and we are only in the early innings.

AGI doesn't exist yet, as of right now we got a thrashing Downie knocking stuff down and sometimes being competent at a few autistic tasks but on the downside it's chugging the electricity and water needs of a country with a population of eight fucking figures.
IF, and that is a stratospherically large if, if AGI becomes a reality then yes, the most consequential invention of humanity, bar none.
But that if is not an is.
>>

>i think productivity gains will compound on themselves as demand for ai spurs demand in other industries
Are these productivity gains in the room with us now? Data is sparse, but the studies that have been done up to this point indicate little to no benefit to productivity from AI. Your thinking (which I think is the general consensus of the market) is only correct if AI improves into something that can think and perform similar to an average human being. Nobody knows if this is going to happen. Not the AI researchers, not the CEOs, not the venture capitalists. They're all just betting it will happen.

It's hard to stay disciplined when numbers go down. I have been trying to move profits into stable stocks and ETFs but when things get bad I sell them anyways to gamble more and try to get it back. I think my biggest problem is I sell my positions too early. Had a ton of iBit calls I sold on Monday to lock in the gains, scared of a government shutdown crashing them. When in reality the reason I bought them in the first place was because I thought Bitcoin would moon in a shutdown. Then I chase other stuff. I guess I'm just retarded.

The ""economy"" and ""free market"" hasn't existed since 1920s and you should stop pretending it does exist. The government throws money at corporations and picks winners and losers.
The US does do a good job of poaching the very best of Europe and a lot of big brain nibbas in China, see pic related. AI researchers flock to the US from all over the world. Most of the standards used in computing are American, and a significant number of founders of US tech companies are non-American. So this will continue for some time.
