Semi oldfag here. Crypto is done as a serious or innovative business. Anonymity, scarcity, low fees and descentralization were the selling points. It’s all gone now. Nobody cares anymore. Altcoins and then shitcoins killed it. I used to speak to people about crypto IRL. Not anymore. I pretty much stopped doing it in 2021 and now I cringe just thinking about mentioning it to a girl or a colleague. Before, you could talk about the blockchain, pow vs pos, tokenomics etc. It was cool to do «interesting» things, like making an airtight ubuntu usb to keep your coins or making a rig for eth mining. Not anymore though. Well played. Seriously.
