early 20s europoor student here. i only have a thousand euros in crypto give or take a few hundred. do i just ape everything into some low marketcap alt? is that my only hope of making any considerable gains this cycle with my current situation?

Invest in something else than crypto, it is not the best place to make money at all anymore. The days of easy 10-1000xs are gone. There are thousands of coins now, the chance of picking one that will pump is small. Just grinding money and getting rich with lower gains and more time is the new meta.

When you are young you still have all the time in the world to make it. Don't ever gamble. Frequently put your money in an emerging markets ex China/MSCI World/dividend aristocrats ETF, physical gold and silver and Bitcoin.
