>>6103095010% is a lot, what's the associated risk?
>>61030969Smart contract risk
hehI'm gonna b rich
>>61030995What's the point of owning stocks if you are guaranteed 10% without the risk of stock devaluation?
>>61031004>guaranteed
>>61031047Yeah there are inherent risks of lending it out. 1, smart contract exploits exist. 2, even though all DeFi loans are overcollaterlized there is the inherent risk that your amount thats lended could be reduced to make up if some people don't pay their loan back, although if you want to receive a loan, you have to provide collateralization which leads to overcollarerization so it's a moot point. 3, as dave ramsey said himself "some computer nerd can just unplug a computer and it all goes away".Normal Defi lending allows you to net anywhere between 6% to 22% in earnings each year.
>>61031047You also get more when you loan your amount on the defi platform directly. I would say it's better than stocks because you're immune to typical devaluation that normal stocks would have as risk.
>>61031099None of those risks justify doing it anyway for me.
>>61031107I would say look into how collateralization of loans on Defi works before brushing it off entirely. But smart contract risks are still a bigger threat than what i just said.
>>61030950>>61031004>nvm inflation, bros>inb4 there is no inflation
>>61031134>no devaluation due to stock performance
>>61031143a potential scenario, but have you...*ahem*...check the charts?
