I've asked around all over my life why everyone just ignores or straight up spits on alts these days. I haven't got a good explanation yet and I'm on the verge of tears.

The despair is so strong I'm about to flood my pillow in tears and slobber. It hurts my feelings so strongly about the slow painful death of alts.

there more money in crypto then theres ever been. unironically, the alts youre holding are just trash. not only is there an oversaturation is alt-slop, theres less speculation this time around. the largest players have already shook hands with institutions and governments, and so the winners have already been decided behind closed doors.

Alts are a meme. Any coin with a CEO or public founder is a meme that will die if it tries to compete with bitcoin.
You have these alts, the founders and devs got in early, hype dies, founders are rich and lose motivation. There's no adoption and you're just one of many shitcoins. Plus the money that's being pumped into crypto isn't coming from normies or nigs hussling with grubhub anymore.
