So what are we buying or selling on Monday boys and girls, MSTR might see some greem from the bitshit
>>
hey i need some help please from you americans

what's the state of asian foodmarts in your state or whatever? do you have a lot? or is it nonexistant?
your perspective will unironically be an expert opinion and mayve you will also benefit

loblaw had a run up going to like 1x price to sales ratio which is frankly a bit too much from the norm for a store that would normally only grow its revenues +4% per year with inflation, but valuation going up because it's expanding it's T&T asian food supermarket chain in the US
i mean i suspect it will do well in california and newyork etc, probably not in flyover where it's prob all rednecks lol, but that'd be enough growth potential from its base in cucknada t hat's only like 35 million population

im fucking serious i need some good hedges i need to buy something non-tech hedge that won't go down -30% when tech gets a nasty pullback
im still going to be invested in tech because if we get a real bubble inflating then it'll be VERY LUCRATIVE, but you need to have hedges in place to be able to t ake advantage of the pullback cycle
we're safe for now because april "crash" is too early in people's minds, same pattern we've seen before, takes at least a year before people start to get itchy
>>
because if this is a market that is untapped, all the asians in US end up switching from walmart/costco to buy from T&T instead
it's going to be a great fucking hedge

walmart + costco etc they all just kept their gains or at least stayed flat through dotcom, 2008, etc
you keep your capital through crashes, but also appreciate in case of currency devaluation because you're holding an asset

and with gold where it is now, and with QQQ being practically fully valued now, and with more liquidity expected to be injected into the market, need to go for low hanging fruit, don't want to baghold *too much* cash, still want some cash but not too much
>>
pls if u americans dont give ur input then smg is truly useless

I live in a very left-leaning city in western europe and I'm obviously not the first to notice this, but when these folks lash out against the elite and the rich, they usually don't include anyone remotely related to entertainment, journalism, sports and arts.
For instance a guy running an actual business with 50 employees, earning 5 million a year is a grasping demon, but their favorite singer or sportsball coach clearing €20 mil a year is not.
>>
I got completely raped with palantir on Friday. Bought more calls right before and it was up 2% after hours so hopefully it will be ok

>>61044149
I'm in jersey and we have a decent number of asian enclaves. Chinks typically only buy the cheapest shit, so if T&T doesn't beat HMart prices not sure they'll do well with their own demographics. I know others shop at asian marts too but mostly if it's in their area or offers imports they're looking for, and quality matters for everything else; the people I know don't like chinese products because they question the standards. We do have Mitsuwa, a similar Japanese market, and they get a lot of traffic during nip festivals and the foodcourt is pretty nice.
Not sure if this helps you or not.

They also can’t seem to connect the dots that mass migration is being done solely to drive down wages and increase rents, so that the elites can make more money without having to actually innovate or invent anything; they can just sit around and goon while the money rolls in. ivy leauge phd stem grads arent in danger because the power of an ivy leauge phd is in the connections not the education.

this isnt unique to america. It's why japan imports fuck loads of brown people to perform the underbelly work of society like driving a dump truck and building skyscrapers. Even china has this problem, they forced their youth into universities with promises of high paying work and now there are no degree needing jobs.

I got a buddy that works at Duke University STEM physics and he says every graduate there is PISSED at the direction job markets are going, even the rich well off ones, because they know even they will be tossed aside once the tech gets better. They're all mom and pop stores but they're everywhere around me. In NYC and California they have international food markets everywhere that sells everything. The market is completely oversaturated and for something with as thin margins as grocery stores I doubt it will make much of an impact. ETHM has an mcap of 231 million but ether holdings of 2.4 billion

BMNR is about 16 billion on 12 billion in eth
Spark is similar to bmnr (overvalued 25%)

I just don't get it- ETHM seems like such a no brainer, but somehow I think if I yolo 10k into this it'll just crab and then dump. Why is that always the case? But if I don't, it'll pump like crazy and mint millionaires.

The reward should be self-evident from BMNR going 40x. There's no actual bear case for this stock except crypto bull run ending. The thing I'm concerned about is if it's 'too smart' it'll end up doing nothing because retards won't fomo in to pump it (has happened to me multiple times). If you're too early or too clever you'll fail because shit has to be advertised to the drooling masses on stocktwits and reddit or they'll keep throwing money at GME and BBBY.

https://www.ainvest.com/news/ether-machine-pioneering-institutional-grade-eth-yield-generation-staking-infrastructure-2509/

It's a spac merger. ETHM and Dynamix will merge and then will have 500k eth. Andrew Keyes is some big crypto glowie. Previous spac mergers like DJT and eth treasuries like BMNR have done retard pumps like 2-20x. The merger is supposed to be 1 Dynamix=1 ETHM share after completion, with the possibility of issuing 8 million shares later.

But this is like back in 2021 with HUT8 and BFARF, I remember betting on those and they only disappointed. The 'knockoffs' always run less than the originals like RIOT and MARA because people don't fomo in.

The difference very likely is that AI has become the teacher itself. Each student/pupil now has his own individual teacher, the AI, that it can interact with and ask questions etc, that is why it is faster if at all.

Basically boils down to the old finding that students from smaller classes are very likely better than those from huge classes.

On things like this it always seems like there's an all or nothing risk. Insiders have an insurmountable edge. As a non insider your options are to buy on no news in advance and pray or buy on the upswing. BMNR was 4 dollars on Friday and opened at 30 something. If you bought then you would still get a good return in normal terms but not life changing. So for it to be life changing you'd have to risk a lot on an all or nothing bet. In short: it be brutal out here.

>So for it to be life changing you'd have to risk a lot on an all or nothing bet. In short: it be brutal out here.
I did something similar with a cryptocurrency back in April. It was dumped by insiders, so I accumulated about 2400 dolllars worth. It was up to 24,000 at one point off that, but then I was depressed because I realized 10k would have literally made a six figure salary in 3 months. Massive fucking fumble.

That's the problem, obviously. Anyway I got 2400 in this. If I make another 2400 that's good, if I make another 24000 that's good. Not making 100k would be suck but whatever. Rather than risk biggest amounts on "it could go up a lot, or rug you" it's easier to risk a moderate amount and still possibly make good money.

Still salty about fumbling USAR though.

Stock pig butchering is fascinating to me.
I read those plebbit posts about people dumping in several tens of thousands into a freaking chinese stock because some chink on whatsapp told you it would go up.
You have so many ways to invest that money but somehow greed completely erodes their risk management.
I find it very hard to feel bad for these people.
Somehow they have 90k liquid to gamble with but at the same time are so utterly retarded and greedy.
A basic math test should be required before being allowed to open a brokerage account. I genuinely think it would make the market significantly healthier

The whole purpose of government is to take from you taxes and funnel most of it to contracts to selected companies and put some into pensions which invest that money into selected companies, to deny citizens rights to certain activities (only goverment can do that), and a jobs program to give the appearance the economy is doing better than it reall is.

>Other day the owner was all pissy, shoved menus into our faces while ranting about some engine problems for building, bartender chick barely spoke a word, retarded fry cook took over an HOUR AND HALF for 2 fucking orders of burgers, no refills, had to ask to look for progress and waiter bitch looked annoyed, customers were also waiting for long time while some left out of patience, did not give tips for that shit service

>Went to big card show for Pokemon cards
>HALF of the vendors were impatient, didn't care to small talk much, wanted deals to be done and over with immediately, card show in general felt "off" vibe wise, even guys checking tickets didn't bother to say "Hi how are you?", customers pushing/shoving, one vendor yelled/cussed at me for changing my mind over a $400 Zekrom card etc.

i will but they're really just hedges, im keeping 30% cash as a hedge already but i've just went over 30% cash and that's a problem, even if im afraid of a bubble, bubbles are also lucrative

i wish i could just buy SPY or somethjing and forget it, but there does seem like a lot of bargains right now that went down cause of tariff fears and haven't returned yet, and need to have cash or assets that will at least go sideways on the next major pullback

problem is distinguishing between value vs value traps

Thoughts on HAS? With the majority of their profit being in Magic the Gathering and all the UB slop being printed out / going to be printed out leads me to believe one their highest profitable branches will be diluted by all the slop in a year and TCG fatigue will set in

But the other part of me says, people will buy all that fucking slop

Do you follow Rudy from Alpha Investments on YT? He usually has a good outlook on MTG as a whole (and has like 10k shares of HAS). Long term, it's probably a good hold, and it moves up and down in cycles.

I bought two Bloomburrow collector boxes for $225 per, and they were up to $850 at peak, but its softened a bit after Spiderman whiffed, and people are getting spooked

in the long run i believe hasbro is in trouble. their moneymakers are magic and D&D, both of which they are driving into the ground. how long will this take is much harder to say.

I mean, the average player has a lifespan of 1-2 years, and they buy the shiny shit and leave. I think their angle is to attract them with various IPs, shark them, and then dump them.
