It really is over...isn't it? I thought we had more time to stack...the poor normies. They just didn't listen. The squeeze. It happened so fast and violently. They just didn't have a chance. Genuine question here. So what’s the goal to stacking? Why does the price of silver matter if the whole idea of stacking is to break away from fiat to begin with? If silver goes to $2000, then what?

>Break away from fiat
This is sort of a delusional goal at the end of the day, fiat will be established by some other country but it will be backed by something more tangible - US currency used to be backed by gold - then went bi-metallic.
Basically in making a new reserve currency you need to establish trust, and so it's very likely that to establish said trust they take a physical asset and say
>This currency is backed by this metal that has historically been used to do this exact thing
And the currency and metal are one in the same at this point.

And I don't know if said above thing will actually happen, what I think is that a new fiat will pop up but in the meantime people will begin to realize that certain assets seem to hold their value - trust in fiat currency can disappear for entire generations of people if they live through a bad enough depression, and that makes precious metals more valuable. There are still people alive who save the little packets of salt and pepper and jelly from restaurants because they lived through the great depression when said things were the same as money in your hand.

Yeah, it's gonna be weird seeing westerners sell their stuff off because their life has just started to get hard and now they only have a 2,000 square foot house and 2 cars instead of 3, while some random asian with a rice farm backed up the truck and decided to buy.
This whole move will just be a big wealth transfer from west to east, a complacent and decadent society that needs to learn to not panic-sell assets constantly and to plan for the long term.
>But I just NEED to fund my next 2 week vacation to europe!
The west is in for a rough wakeup call. Ping just worked an 90 hour week to buy one silver dime.

Silver, gold, and copper all have medicinal properties. That's why they were valuable before industrial uses were designed for them. Silver is the most antimicrobial substance on the planet. That's why the wealthy ate off silver utensils because they reduced the risk of food poisoning.

industrial demand exceeds mining output..declining ore grades and geopolitical issues can halt mine development. currency devaluation drives demand for silver as safe haven assets pushing price up regardless of mineable resrvers.. much of the silver already mined is tied up with industrial products that do not recycle the metal. Above ground supply is finite and shrinking

Most silver is mined as a byproduct of mining other metals, so that production is basically inelastic to the demand. Most of the other 20-30% of silver production is in risky jurisdictions that may get nationalized/ unviable due to political risk in a global economic crisis. It's essentially infinite underground, but we aren't dwarfs.
>>
>>61046337
>An oz for a bj
I decline the offer, I'll need the daughter at the same time too for such a hefty price.
>>
>>61046306
Look at the historical graphs for silver, every time this happens silver goes up by 250% for an extended period of time from the previous depressed price, but when the real squeeze happens and people FOMO into it the price spikes another 200% for a period of a month or two before people try to unload it which crashes the price.

It literally follows the classic graph of a bubble.

>before people try to unload it which crashes the price
Wrong. You talk very confidently for someone who doesn't know his shit. The crash in 1980 was because there was a change in margin rules. All the leveraged long traders suddenly had to put up a ton more collateral. Most couldn't so their longs were forcibly closed. In 2011 the price crashed because banks colluded to simultaneously dump paper contracts on the market. We know this from chat logs shown in the court proceedings that happened afterward. It's different now because any discount the establishment provides by manipulation or otherwise will get slurped up by China.

See the thing about being an industrial metal is that when prices go up, they stop making shit with it and the demand goes down. You think they're going to make solder with it when it's $100/oz?
>>
>>61045980
Still plenty in Canada, but that's because the average person here is retarded and poor. That said, the 1kg bars have dried up, could see 10oz bars disappear next out of the LCSs and bullion exchanges to go to wholesalers to be shipped East.

>>
>>61046466
>Most products with silver in them only have small amounts.

Look at the chart the guy above posted, 52 million ounces goes to making this shit which is like 50% silver by weight. Another 200 million ounces for 'jewellery', no one is going to buy silver jewellery at the prices you guys are thinking. 46 million ounces for silverware LMAO and the demand from stackers is 200 million ounces. All of these are going to drop off instantly when silver hits $100/oz and this is why the price crashes every single time.

>BUT BUT MUH CHYNA

If china is buying then why the fuck would they not want the price to crash?

Yes because it's useful. But how much solder is in a widget? A gram?
>If china is buying then why the fuck would they not want the price to crash?
Because they have a giant stash of it. Has the appreciation in the price of gold caused central banks to stop buying? No.
>You guys are literally frothing at the mouth, people are FOMOing, it's the literal definition of a bubble.
This is only the breakout.

Yeah because it's not a real precious metal and tarnishes if your skin touches it.

>Yes because it's useful. But how much solder is in a widget? A gram?

It's not useful, laws were made to replace lead solder with it. They use this shit for soldering together pipework and all the fucking electronics which take alot, they will just go back to lead if there is a silver shortage.

>Because they have a giant stash of it. Has the appreciation in the price of gold caused central banks to stop buying? No.

Gold is a real precious metal. If silver starts catching up then they'll just buy more gold because why the fuck would you choose silver over gold.

>This is only the breakout.

Yeah I agree, like I said $60 elevated price, $120 at the absolute peak during the squeeze and then it will pop and probably settle out to $50 during the next deflation cycle.

How do we stop them from dumping all that paper silver at the peak and crash the price like they always do?
Unless society collapses the squeeze won't be squoze and even if it does there is nothing to stop a band of people from coming to your house after realizing that you aren't like everybody constantly fighting for the tiniest bit of wealth.
You would need to have enough silver to fund a private army otherwise they will pull a cartel on you and kill your right away
Do you all have compounds in the midwest large enough to accommodate a small army and enough bullets, food, and water to fight back tens of thousands of desperate people all rushing your compound?
Are you capable of even fighting back against 10 armed men?
Can you even trust that small army not to just kill you and take your silver either out of greed or "helping the common man"?

The mania has started but because there are just so many people it won't be as much of a flash of light like with Tulip mania.
Shit even the housing market crash took like 5 years to bottom out
Realistically though the government would probably artificially crash prices along with the jews in order to keep order and to keep the dollar from looking weak.
So your dreams of thousand dollar silver are just that. Dreams.
Don't forget all the mining for precious earth metals that Trump is okaying which means silver, gold, and other metals that would spike during these shortages will be there to stop shortages meaning the mania will stop once shortages stop.
Its a great moment to make serious money but you would be wise to put in into physical assets and not view silver as the final frontier unless you are thinking nuclear war that would likely result in you dying in a bunker from starvation with your stash being found by people decades later.
